It has many incredibly gorgeous pieces of clothing you can wear to an evening out or a special gala. I didn't even realize it was a bridal store till i peered behind the curtained area. The service greeted all of us and made sure if we had a question, they were more than happy to come help. The front area is filled with clothes from my favourite brand For Love and Lemons and also another brand called Keepsake. I would say both go for the luxury, refined, and yet stunning designs that would draw the eyes. If bridesmaid were able to wear these, I think there would be zero arguments on rewearing the dress. There is also lots of accessories and home items that can turn a dull home to something with a bit more indulgence. I didn't come here for a wedding but I did see an appointment while I was there and there was a definite ease and attention to detail in this calm space. Seeing everyone smile would probably be a great indication the appointment was going well. If I ever need a gorgeous evening wear that captures people's attention while still being refined, I'll return here.

There were so many dress options for me as someone who is ~5'7 - I had such a fun time looking through all the colours available. As soon as you walk in, you're able to explore the options and the service was amazing. I had flagged down Nicole and she was so incredibly helpful throughout the process, finding dresses that fit the style I was looking for and helping hunt down my size. I was so lucky to find one I loved and confirm it was available for the date I need! With the shipping and total price of the dress - it was such a deal, especially when I know I wouldn't wear it again after one event. Excited to get my dress in May and I'll be updating my review as soon as it arrives!

I've bought my dress! I thought I would wait until the end…read moreof the dress process to update my review, but doubt much will change. During my 6 months searching for a dress, I came back here quite a few times and always worked with Mackenzie. I came back for a total of 5 times for different reasons, trying on 1 single dress to see how I feel, and full blown dress picking appointment. Mackenzie was always patient and we got along well. It gets really busy here on the weekends, and it really affects your experience here. I came by once to try a specific dress, which I told them and called ahead of time. Not only was M. not there (on her lunch), but someone was supposed to sub for her. We waited 15 mins for someone, and finally they let me in, but they could not find the dress I specified. They even brought me a different one than I had called in for (the file had the name, and it was correct). I wasn't pleased. The day I finally came to buy the dress, with my mom, 2 friends and the MiL, they got me in the dress, then left me for at least 10+mins. There were so many awkward situations where I don't know where M. had disappeared to and why things were taking so long. I also got some ideas for Veils from the guy that makes it. I found his attitude a little abrasive, and rude. It's not my fault I don't know how to look at the veil and adjust the mirrors! They make Veils in house and they range from $100-400. The entire appointment that day took about 1.5 hours, but a lot of it was standing around. I decided to buy the dress here, because they were one of few in Toronto that carried it, plus it was in a convenient location, and I've bothered them so much already. I get 10% off for taking the dress offsite to alter, and I decided to do this - they will back up the alterations in case anything will go wrong, also since they are so busy, I don't want to have to have a bad experience. I can't imagine anything else will happen from now until I pick up the dress. So there it is! --- Edit: so when I went to pick up my dress, I had to actually make an appointment, which was a little strange to me, given that I paid for it already, and physically just picking it up. I was told this was necessary so that someone can greet me and have the dress ready. When I got there on what seemed to be a quiet Friday afternoon, there was no one to greet me. Finally someone came and saw me, and went to the back to get my dress. She disappears for about 5 mins, and another women back from break walks in an sees me standing there. Checks me in, a 2nd time, and goes to the back to look for my dress. This boggles my mind because I was so sternly told that I needed to make an appointment, and yet, neither a person nor my dress was ready. Finally she came, and I picked up my dress. Just a word of warning I guess.

Our consultant, Linda, paid really great attention to us and helped us find some amazing stuff. Found an amazing dress, but this is when we ran into a 'hiccup'. I had another appointment to go to that day, but Beckers wouldn't let us take a picture of the dress that I loved, and THE TAG HAD ALSO BEEN REMOVED so I couldn't see the designer name. I know that this is to ensure that I don't look for it cheaper somewhere else, but this is horrible customer service practice. Miraculously, I was still able to find the dress at the next appointment and compare it when I found another one I loved just as much, and ended up buying my dress at the other shop. If they had let me take a picture of it and I had decided that I liked the dress I first tried on at Beckers best, I would have gone back to purchase it but because they were unhelpful regarding this important aspect, I wouldn't have.

AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want to be served by clerks who are not properly trained and want to make a quick sale. YOU WILL NEED TO FIGHT TO PICKUP YOUR DRESS ON A WEEKEND - the store will ask you to come during the week or offer you a time outside the open hours of the store, as they reserve weekend appointments for sales appointments Purchase I really wanted to love this store. Reasonably priced nice dresses...but the positivity stops there. I ended up purchasing a dress with a low back but was advised by the clerk who served me that it would be an easy and simple alteration to raise the back 2-3 inches to cover a tattoo. The clerk admitted she didn't know the exact cost but said that it likely wouldn't be much since it only had to come up 2-3 inches. Fast forward a few months and I was quoted $960.50-$1367.30 (depending on what option I selected) for what was supposed to be a "simple" alteration that wouldn't cost that much. Keep in mind this quote for alterations did not include standard alterations for length, bust, waist etc. When I asked the store to break down the expense for me by providing the hourly rate of the seamstress and to explain why it cost so much they said they couldn't comment. When I spoke with the manager she apologized and advised that not all of the clerks are properly trained to advise in alterations.....and offered me $200 off...which isn't even a 10% discount to cover HST on the most expensive option. The issue was never resolved by the store as I declined their tailoring services and will be going to a much more reasonable and transparent tailor. PICK UP If you work during the week like most people, expect to be treated like an inconvenience if you want to pick up your dress on the weekend. When I was told my dress had arrived, I was asked when during Monday-Friday I could pick up my dress. Seeing as I work and have to fight rush hour traffic to get to the store that was not an option. I was told that the clerk would need to seek management approval for me to come on a weekend...I was then offered appointment times before the store even open and when I asked why I was being offered times outside when the store was open I was told that it was in fact with in business hours because the clerks come in early before the store opens. Long story short my request to come on a weekend when the store is open was finally accommodated after much back and forth.

First of all, the store itself is stunning. I also love how they offer a curated selection of wedding related accessories as well such as gorgeous silk dressing gowns, bridal jewelry, clutches, bridesmaid gifts, etc. The pricing is also reasonable in my opinion, with dresses in the $1000 - $5000 range. Our consultant, Hallie (spelling?) was very sweet and helpful. I really like how they allow you to select five gowns to try first by clipping a clothespin to the top of the hanger of the dresses you are interested in trying on. They have large racks of stunning dresses to choose from and also stock Canadian designers (love that!). Your choices are then set up beautifully in a change room to try on. Hallie was awesome and helped me get myself into all of the gowns I tried on. They also had shoes for me to borrow while trying on gowns (something I seem to always forget to bring with me!) which was very appreciated. Although I didn't say yes to the dress on this particular occasion, I did really love a gown that is in my budget and (almost) everything I want. Since I have a bit more time, I will do a bit more shopping but definitely will keep Sash & Bustle at the top of my mind! Our consultant also mentioned that they offer bridal styling appointments as well, even if you purchase your gown elsewhere. I will also keep them in mind for help with this in the event I don't get my dress from this location. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for a bridal shopping visit (but be sure to make an appointment in advance!).
