Easter!

Paper Source is my happy place. I've been going to the Princeton Paper Source for a few years now. I usually park on Nassau Street or in the small metered parking lot on Witherspoon. I've gone here for Workshops and even celebrated my birthday here by making Fall Greeting cards! My favorite so far has been the Christmas Card making workshop as it really started my love of rubber stamping and heat embossing! This PS has a great location in downtown Princeton. So many shops, restaurants, and other things to do before or after your Paper Source adventure. I love going here as part of my Black Friday Shopping traditions. The ladies who work here are friendly and passionate. The front of the store has their wrapping paper and greeting cards along the left and right sides of the wall. The center aisles are full of beautiful, curated, collections of planners, other accessories, decor, notebooks, mugs, and various gifts, gadgets, and treats. My favorite finds have been the pineapple rubber stamp, Sugarfina Champagne Gummy Bears, and this gorgeous Gold Cube Square picture frame. Will you spend a ton of money? Probably! Will your heart and soul be happy? Yes! PS is a great place to be inspired and get creative.

Paper Source is an easily overlooked business along Nassau but it has a lot to offer besides cards. I stop in whoever I need any cards for any occasions (i.e. Thank you, birthday etc). There are lots of other holiday and seasonal items on offer. My husband enjoyed exploring the "man table" set up in front of the cash register. The prices are a bit high but the quality is good.

Valentines theme!

I love Paper Source. That's my review because really what else do I need? :) I love buying special occasion cards here, but beware - you will spend a lot of money. The cards are an average of $5 each, some are more so don't fall in love with too many of them! I always end up spending about $15 on cards and an additional $20 on stationary. The window display changes with the holiday and season, which I think gives it a new look each time. Tons of wrapping paper, stamps, invitations, envelopes, cards, and notebooks. It is a great place to buy small gifts for new homes, friends, and yourself.. who doesn't like treating themselves?! The staff is super nice and helpful. The store is well organized and clean, I always make a visit whenever I am in the area, probably not a good idea for me but I can't help it!

She has established many coops in these countries and donates part of the profits. I was told this by the kind gentleman volunteer who was manning the store for her. There are many interesting items you can buy for yourself or give as inexpensive gifts. The prices here aren't too bad. There is a minimum of $10 for c.c. purchase. This store is hard to find as is tucked away in an alley on spring street. Even if not purchasing anything it's also a cool store to just to poke around.

Very small shop, but packed with all kinds of amazing handcrafted jewelry, hippie-esque clothing and handbags, incense and spiritual items (i don't know how else to describe it!). In school, we were always annoyed at there "only 2 people under 18 allowed in at once" rule, but now as an adult, I see why. i honestly think this place helped me shape my whole "look" (if you can call it that) -- after buying numerous poison rings, boxes of Nag Champa, and hand woven purses there, i credit them for making me the pseudo-hippie i am today :) and while you're there, go 2 doors down to Chucks for some killer wings :) can't miss!

Lo and behold, as you come in, what welcomes you is the serene ambiance of almost "home", minus the smell of home cooking or popcorn. The place is packed with very tastefully curated items from handcrafted "reclaimed lumber" to Villeroy & Boch and other very interesting finds. Even the bathroom which I perused after a long drive looked great and well appointed. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant and cordial. The very dapper looking gentleman (I presumed is the owner) was very attentive and hands on with his assistance on the product I was interested in. He answered all my questions and seemed really knowledgeable. Though quite a distance from home, it will be goodbye to the mall at Short Hills and hello to The Homestead at Princeton when it's time to redecorate. Pricing ranges from expensive to affordable. Well, depending on your taste, budget and aesthetics The place gave me the shivers (positive). If I was a leaf, I would be shaking. The place is marvelous. The dapper gentleman and young lady was a delight. Thank you for the shopping experience.

A perfect example of lots of things that I want and almost nothing that I NEED. But that makes it such a fun shop and kind of perfect for gifts!  The store is so well laid out that even with so many small and little things out on display, it is still somehow not overwhelming or messy. I've stopped in a few times and either myself or the person I am with needs to get one or two things. On my last visit, I finally caved and got myself an actual matcha whisk and stand, so no more coffee frothing (or subpar matcha making) for me. I've also gotten a really beautiful and sleek pair of chopsticks before, and have my eye on a few other things that I will save for future visits.  The woman that is usually there behind the register is kind and polite without making you feel like you need to get something. In fact, she really is the opposite of some shops that are on top of you as you browse and walk around.  It is on the expensive side. The whisk and stand came out to $30+, but where else do you find such a unique and curated store? Worth it every once and awhile, I'd say.  Happy shopping!

From the minute you walk in and see that huge mural on the wall by the entrance , it truly stands out with its vibrant colors, and tiles to the beautiful framed artwork that stands out from room to room, and from artist to artist. If you're handicapped this can be somewhat of a hike, unless you got a spot on the street right across from the entrance like we did. I also recommend if a person can't walk well they use a wheelchair or skip it. There are some areas with stairs while walking so be prepared. If you have small children, a stroller is a must. They do have elevators to get you from floor to floor once you're in the building. It's located on the beautiful campus of Princeton University and it's completely FREE of charge which is unusual nowadays. It's a great way to see some amazing art, walk around the campus and take in some amazingly beautiful old building's on the campus. You can walk through town. There are tons of restaurants to choose from and a wonderful artisan ice cream shop. When you arrive at the museum, they have a concierge's desk that you can get a FREE map and ask questions. They have nice bathrooms too. There is also a small gift shop.that sell books, and memorabilia. There's security everywhere. All the guards were very polite and friendly. I got a late start so I didn't see everything, which is ok. I'll definitely be back. Parking is difficult. I suggest parking in a lot a block off Nassau street.. It was only $6.50 for a few hours. If you're lucky enough to get parking spot on the street across from the entrance, it really makes life easier. There is also limited handicapped spots in the lot and on the street.. I highly recommend going on a beautiful sunny day. The campus itself is beautiful. You can take your time and stroll the campus and the Art Museum. There are benches and places to sit in the museum. This is a wonderful place to see and learn about art, culture and history. When you're done you can check out the local bar and restaurant called Dinky's right on the campus. And, a shout out to the friendliest and most helpful guards.
