The selection is very cute and ambient. The service is good too. It's a little expensive but everything is good quality.

Staff is friendly. Paper, stationery, envelopes and gifts can easily be found in Paper Source. Be ready to have difficulty making decisions because each item is beautiful and prices are just right. Late review (November visit) First time here, honestly didn't know what this place was. Being a B&N Premium member I received an email that included a gift for my daughter since it was her birthday month back in November. The gift included a dessert of choice from the B&N cafe and the another was a free kids craft from Paper Source. I was at B&N and asked the lady at the register where I can find this place and how I can get her gift. She said it was at located at Fig Garden Village. Later, I took a trip with my daughter to this place. Saw so many beautiful wrappings, stationary items and countless cards. I browsed around the store and also found some really nice gift-able items. I ended up buying a hermonica for my daughter and had mentioned the free gift during check out. The lady who helped was kind and put together the crafts it was basically sheets of paper that can be colored. There was a variety and said that they had crayons if we wanted to stay and color it. Just decided to take it homes and she added a few stickers for her and my daughter loves stickers so she was excited. Most of the items here are priced high but It's nice to know that as a B&N premium member you get 10% off almost everything in Paper Source stores. read more

November 2023, I attempted to purchase Christmas cards, but couldn't because they didn't have a chair for me to sit in (I need a double knee replacement). But the staff provided me with a curb side shopping experience and I was able to get my cards! Please note it was a very slow part of the day October 2024, they had a chair for me...and it' was Nirvana. Having recently moved I literally needed everything Christmas - cards, wrapping paper, gifts and more! Yes, I may have paid a small fortune, but they made me look good. In 2005, they are helping me create a special curated Advent Calendar of my own making for a 7 year old. It coming together so well it will surely outshine the one given to her last year. So far, they helped me obtain a Valentine card 2 months after Valentine Day so that I could continue to give my funny Valentine of 39 years his card. To having Crane paper in stock - if you know you know. This ain't no Hallmark store for sure, it's about polishing your own presentation and showing that you are gifting a curated personal experience. I went to go look around then I found this mini violen for $16, when I went to my car I didn't like it so I went to return it and the girl with black frame glasses at the desk skimped me out of $4, refusing money back, insisting I either swap it out for the same price or a store card and she showed me the receipt of the return and the the items I had to get since I couldn't return it were these putty tins that was $7 each and she said she gave me a half off discount for other one in return the she would gave my change back on a store card then she said that there was only going to be $.50 left the but it was nothing in return for me for a gift card basically saying why do u want a .50 cent card. I can't tell if she was going to save that money for herself since I didn't get it in return but made the receipt for the return knowing my original return price was $16. Did not like her way around dealing with customers. Did not want to argue knowing she wasn't doing her job right. read more

Well, this was a nice surprise to come across at FGV! All kinds of paper products: invitations, thank you cards, specialty cards and lots of wrapping paper by the sheet. A person could do some pretty snazzy gift wrapping after a visit here. The store clerk was very friendly. There's so much more here than what I mentioned, a person really just needs to wander through on their own. Some things were a bit more than at the craft store, but for card stock there are so many choices. Found some cute stickers for a crafting project. read more

I have been in and called the shop a few times over the past few weeks and have been so impressed by the whole experience. After visiting several places for my wedding invitations I decided to choose Paper Source. Not only do they have gorgeous invitations to choose from but they by far have the most amazing customer service. Everyone treated me great but Allison went above and beyond for me to make sure I was happy. When I placed the order she gave me a hug and when a discovery arose she was on top of it and expedited the issue. I just picked up my wedding invitations and as I walked in and she saw me she excitedly said my name and grabbed my invites to show me. She showed me how they all should be put together to send off and when I cried she hugged me and was genuinely happy for me. This was by far the best customer service I have experienced! With all the stress a wedding can bring I'm happy to say that Allison made this part of it fabulous! I will be back to shop here for gifts and other occasions. Paper Source how do I love thee, let me count the ways.. I was very surprised to see that Fresno had a Paper Source! I first discovered Paper Source back in my college days in Berkeley on good ole 4th street. I dreamt about the day I would get to make my own wedding invitations and dip into the dizzying array of colors and options. That never happened (bc Costco = cheap) but I still am a big fan of this store and everything in it is impossibly cute (and pricey, ugh). If you like stationery, you'll love this store! I even found a cool ruler type thing for those of us who have trouble writing straight on cards (raises hand). It's like they've thought of everything. I stopped myself from buying too much this time because I haven't even started my scrapbook yet and used my scrapbook paper yet, one hobby at a time, but if I ever got into making cards.. Paper Source would be to blame. If you want to make a beautiful individualized gift, this is the place to do it. Tons of gorgeous wrapping paper in ginormous rolls. Tons of interesting quirky novelty items too that would be perfectly giftable. I like that Paper Source sells a lot of its own brand, so you won't find it elsewhere. Paper Source brand stickers, Paper Source brand toys, Paper Source banners for your next birthday or baby shower... a sloth sling that slings sloths shaped like balls that fourth grader boys would love? What... They're very good at what they do and I meandered through the store extra slowly to ooh and aah at all the items. What I found the most interesting was their craft packs, they have packs to make paper dolls. I would have picked one up except I couldn't stomach the idea of paying $16 for one for myself even if it was ridiculously adorable. Would be a great gift to spoil a grandchild with though! They also have adult workshops and summer camp for children! There is a sale section in the back (hoorah), and I got a fun craft soap set for myself for a rainy day and a Rifle & Co card. I love wrapping and I love Christmas! Thats a dangerous combo because I end up spending so much on making sure each christmas gift is wrapped beautifully with extra touches! I have been to the Paper Source in different cities and i ALWAYS end up buying some of their wrapping paper sheets to take home. So I'm beyond happy to know that we have one in town! They have a wall of luxury wrapping paper that is sold by the sheet. They're a little pricey for each sheet but I think they're worth it for the extra touch. They do sell some by the roll but the selection is not the biggest. they have cards, a wrapping station and a lot of other stationary items. The staff was super welcoming and I loved how educated they were about the items and the store's mission/brand. This is also located in Fig Garden, so parking is plentiful. read more

I had a horrible experience with Melissa!they were on the wrong type of paper! She was very very rude! She refused service to me after expressing my concerns in a polite manner! This lady needs to be fired from the very beginning she was unprofessional and unorganized! It took over 30 mins to find my order. I will never come back to this place again! I would like to give a 5-star rating to the young woman who helped me on the phone today. I believe her name was either Cindi or Syndney, please forgive me on that point. She went completely out of her way to help me with an online/in store pick up at a store located in the Bay Area that I was not getting any response from. It seems all the phone lines were down (?) and every PS store I called locally had a busy signal. So, as my son lives in Fresno, I called there hoping that he could p/u my calendar. Again, this young woman was a pleasure to speak with and went out of her way to solve the problem. She even recognized the Japanese block print flip calendar and thought it might be just an online only item. We both agreed that it should be noted on the online ordering source. Visited the store today and saw a customer shopping without a mask so I figured they must not mind if we don't wear one. We were immediately asked to leave or put on a mask. I have no problem following the stores rules but not if they don't apply to everyone. Very frustrating. read more

I have never experienced customer service as terrible as this place. If I could rate below 1 star I would. The old ladies working here are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They yelled at me and my sister multiple times for walking into their store when they were at capacity. There were no listed signs or anyone standing outside to tell us this. We politely went back outside. We were eventually let in but continued to be scolded for where we were standing in what seemed to be a line to check out. We were condescendingly told along with many other customers to "stand under the clearly marked sign where the line begins". When the line cleared up and a customer finished checking out we moved inches closer to the cashier and were again yelled at for not waiting in the designated spot and she claimed "I'll call you when I'm ready for you". I just don't understand why people have to be so rude to customers. I witnessed the same thing happen to other people in the store. There is a nice way to go about telling people where to stand and they did not take this route. I just don't understand. Happy holidays I guess. read more
