The river Tame flows right next to it. It is pretty and has photos of the local areas on the walls.

There's also a wedding section (where you can buy outfits and set up a wedding list), a house and home section, lingerie, make up and beauty and jewellry section. (My perfect shop everything all under one roof). There's also two good cafes. I prefer the one on the top floor as it tends to be quieter and they do nice lunches/ meals.

W H Smith Ltd is not a large store but it manages to fill a lot of stock in a wide range of goods within it walls. The store offers most of what you would find in a larger branch from magazines, cards, stationary, books and CD/DVD and much more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We use the store mostly for the children's book and the artist tools and drawing equipment, although small. W H Smiths in Selby also have a good ordering service which usually takes a couple of days.
