Great cut, hadn't walked a shop over 30yrs. Prices kind of high but I'm guessing it's the same everywhere

(We tried calling but didn't get a response so we walked in based on Yelp reviews) he says can do the cut since Jose is not here today. I asked how long he has been cutting hair and he said a long time. I saw his approach to how he cuts and had to get up to go watch another stylist (Emily) cut hair. She was so confident and pro vs the one cutting my son's hair who I can see constantly adjusting blade sizes to correct and cut. Over 45 mins later my kid's hair looks nothing like what he showed the barber of what he wants. I asked my son who said "it's ok", and the barber said, "he likes his haircut". I can tell by my son's face he just wants to get out of there. In the car I asked him why didn't he tell the Barber so we can get it fixed. He tells me "mom I didn't want to get him mad, he was already having a hard time cutting my hair just by how long he took and I didn't want him to make it look worse. Can you just find another place to fix my hair". So $40 and one hour later ($35 +tips) I have to find another place to fix his hair. Location. Near heavily residential, cool inside and clean. I would have given less than one 1 star but the two stars is for Emily who didn't even cut our hair but was great. My suggestion for anyone else, ask for Emily or Josue if you are to come here.

First time going here. Paul was awesome and very personable. I am definitely going back next time I…read moreneed a haircut. Easy to setup appointment online. Reasonable prices. Classic authentic and old timey barbershop feel(which was super cool!). The other barbers were super chill and friendly as well. I felt welcome upon entering. I hadn't had a haircut in years except at home by the wife(which does not count). Paul did all the decision making for me which I appreciated(length of sideburns, how brows should be cleaned up, what size clipper to use, length of top, and how the back should be trimmed e.g. square, rounded, etc.) I walked in looking homeless and walked out looking like a million bucks. Paul's Master barber license is evident in his work. He really paid attention to detail. My wife said I look so hot and that this is the best haircut I have ever got in my life! I can't think of any negatives about this place but wish the shave process with the straight edge razor was done a little differently and more like traditional barbershops: Other barber shops put a hot moist towel on your face that is somewhat scented with essential oil and is left to sit for a min or two prior to shaving. (The towels are pre-steamed in a tiny appliance). I feel like this allows for a closer shave. I also prefer the chair be tilted back during the process. Other than that, no complaints what-so-ever! Oh, his dog Poppy, is really cool, too! I really look forward to going back so I can feel like a million bucks again. Thanks Paul! -Joel I highly recommend this place. PS: I believe it's cash only. No credit cards accepted.

I was unsure at first given I'm not from the area but the owner is friendly and extremely personable. The shop is very clean and just an awesome setup overall. Highly recommended. And will be sure to stop by next time I'm in town. Thanks again Paul!
