I had to settle for a date 2 weeks out but was eager to see how they would clean me up. Carmen was"SUPERB"! I looked like Sasquatch and have always been reluctant to trust a stylist I don't know. Comes from damage done to my ponytail by a redneck barber in 1969. I asked Carmen to lighten my load and make me half my age and she did just that. Saw it after when I looked into the mirror closely at home. There was also a chunk of hair missing from the back of my head on what's supposed to be a v-fade. Again, he didn't tell me about this and I only found out at home. I can tolerate mistakes and accidents, since everyone makes them, but hiding them from your clients shows a lack of integrity.

So I recently decided to give Hue Pepin's shop a try. As Hue was recommended to me by a friend, I was a bit nervous when I was welcomed by another barber (I think his name is Lucas?). However, after showing some pics and describing how I like my haircut, this personable and pleasant young man meticulously proceeded, cutting my hair to my complete satisfaction. I'm so glad I decided to give him a shot at it, and I look forward to going back, optimistic that he will be able to consistently cut my hair the way he did the first time.
