Visited Papa's for some Pitz. Ordered the round pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers Pitz. And also the margarita Pitz. It was totally awesome. Fresh and tasty. . Soooo good. Waitress was friendly and always checking on us. Nice and clean restaurant. Bar was nice too. They serve alcohol. . Parking was great, the lot was right outside. I would definitely go back. There is no shortage of pizza places around the beach so trying to decide which to eat at and where to avoid can be a challenge. Papa's is unassuming in a strip mall, but don't let that keep you away. It's a good find. The crust is thinner like New York style with good chewiness. We've had a number of their pizzas including white pizza and specialty ones. So far, never disappointed. I like their prices compared to others too. The 10" are plenty big for one person and the 12" are good for one person who likes a few slices left over. People are always very friendly and service is good. They've always been pretty quick, even when busy. Recommend! read more

From out of town. This pizza was close to my visit spot. Thought I would try. Ordered via online. Said would be ready in 30 minutes. It was not. In fact, I arrived and the order hadn't been started. We called in an order & they got one of the pizzas wrong. Not a big deal, my husband called & I went back up to get the correct pizza. The woman was originally going to charge me the difference, (we were charged for cheese only but ordered pepperoni), but decided not to when I balked. I was shocked, I was expecting at the very least an apology, at most, some sort of credit back to my card or a discount on the next order. Nope, nothing, she was incredibly rude & said they don't do that there. If you like thin crust pizza you will love this place! Their crust is very thin and crunchy. Just because the crust is thin they load on the toppings! It's great to find a place that actually sells a large pizza that it large indeed. Papas was one of my favorite pizza places in the area last time I lived here and glad to see it remains just as good years later. My first week in my new house I ordered from here twice! Subs and salsa the first time and pizza the second. For years now I have been in search of a meatball sub that was just as good or better than one I had in Billings Montana (of all places to find a good meatball sub, lol) but I have at Papa's and it's very exciting to have the meatball sub that rivals the one from Billings five minutes from my house. The pasta dishes looked amazing both times I was in to pick up my food so I plan to try their pasta if I can bring myself to move beyond the pizza and meatball sub. read more

good food best thing is the staff. I say this because of the times I visit there Andrea and Whitley have been fantastic hosts and servers. I can walk in at lunch and always be greeted with a smile and a warm feeling like I belong there. Delicious. Got take out for my 38 th birthday .we shared a small veggie with egg plant pizza which was amazing , great crust and generous with your toppings cooked well. Also shared a side of meat balls which was also very delicious and tasted home made. And last we got the chicken tenders and buffalo fries. Chicken was very tasty and the fries were so good. Sure wish you knew when you order to go if the good chef or the bad chef is on because they are so inconsistent. I also am once again reminded that to get this sandwich should only be in restaurant (in case this happens they can adjust) Once again, dry as can be. Where's the sauce n cheese? Should've ordered extra on the side like last time (except it didn't need it then) but it did the time before! By the time you get home it's too late you're screwed! DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT DINNERS!!! I placed an order to go for the Pasta Shells and Cheese dinner. I've had it at the restaurant and it was good. This time the only thing edible was the salad. The shells and cheese were crammed into a container that was obviously too small. The 3 large shells were mashed down with ricotta squishing out and covered with very little sauce because there wasn't room in the container. I had to wait for what turned out to be a 4 inch bottom piece of garlic bread that was stale a smashed. Upon calling, the owner rudely told me if I wanted a nice dinner I needed to eat there. No offer for compensation or even an apology! I was appauled by his attitude and will never be spending my hard earned money in his restaurant again. Seated immediately! Waitress was fast and great! Ordered fried pickles with ranch, boneless chicken wings and a large cheese pizza! Pickles came out first and we quickly devoured them! No longer recommended. Lunch Pizza slices looked and tasted like they were fresh two days ago. Crust literally so hard that it tore up my mouth. That is just the food. The service also must be commented on. Slow, inattentive, inept. That is all. This is not a knee jerk reaction, last time the food was good, but the service has been consistently bad. read more
