I have only heard wonderful things about Papa's Cupcakes, so I immediately thought of them when I needed a key lime pie for a close friend who is a self-proclaimed "key lime pie snob." I never had key lime pie before, so I didn't really know what I was even looking for! Papa sure did, though! Wow! My friend told everyone that it was THE best key lime pie he ever had, and everyone else there agreed! Since it was my first time having key lime pie, my standards are now super high, and I'm not sure any other one will ever even come close to comparing to it in the future. Papa hit it out of the park with this pie! I'd also like to mention the wonderful customer service received. Papa replied to my email (asking if he would be able to make the pie for me) with promptness and friendliness. He was very easy to work with. We love how accommodating and easy to work with, the owners/bakers, John and Brian are. We've enjoyed everything we've ever ordered from them, and it's always fun to just stop in to grab some treats too. We just ordered a carrot cake with cream cheese icing for a birthday, and it was decadent! My favorites are the mini cupcakes, because, like the regular size cupcakes, they are filled with crazy good fillings! Another fav are the adorable cake pops, designed by Brian. Can you same, yummm?! I love that Papa's Cupcakes has a variety of different fun flavors to choose from. The Rocky Road was absolutely delicious and the Lemon Drop was scrumptious as well but very sweet with the lemon curd filling. The only reason I'm taking 1 star off was that when I initially went in to order two cupcakes, the woman was not too friendly. She wasn't busy at all, but I somehow felt like I was bothering her by being there. In searching for a take home type of dessert for my son and daughter in law's wedding dinner, I decided cupcakes would be easy, personalized and interesting. I taste tested several at a few local bakeries. The offerings at Papa's was dizzying! So many to choose from but I managed to pick 6 to try at home. WOW! So yummy and some really unique flavors! Contact with the owner was simple and very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. They packaged each one in little boxes that I had purchased from Amazon and wrote the flavor of the cupcake on the box. When I picked up the cupcakes on the day of the dinner, they were in a single large box covered with a sheet of clear plastic. This was really thoughtful as it was pouring outside. Also contained in the box with the cupcakes was a sign that we displayed on the dessert table. It congratulated the couple and described each flavor of cupcake! Handling from start to finish, was responsive, professional, and thorough... and of course delicious! All the guests raved about the cool flavors, the beautiful presentation and how delicious all the cakes were! Highly recommend! read more

We found Papas shortly after moving to Perkasie and what a gem of a place is! Papas has the most incredible cupcakes, but he also makes cakes, loaves, brownies, cookies, muffins, you name it. HORRIBLE. The first time I let it go cause everybody has a bad day. The second time got to spell it out.
