I love going here for the vibe. Such a fun place to be the food is OK better than some other restaurants in town down the street I really like their tacos. They have good sandwiches and burgers and the staff is all very friendly. I really like the staff here. read more

Papa's Casino - The best pepperoni pizza in town! - Nightlife Near Me - Moses Lake, Washington

I have been wanting to re-check out Papa's for awhile now. I have heard that it is wonderful! The food and the service are said to have improved greatly and everyone has raved. So when I was asked by my husband where i wanted to have my birthday date night at I said...yeah..let's try Papas. We got there around 7ish and the place was full. We waited in the front for about 5 minutes with waiters and waitresses shuffling by us...we figured we should just seat ourselves in one of the empty tables. We sat..kind of confused if we should have waited to be seated or not...about 3 minutes go by before I get up and ask a waiter if we can sit at the table we chose and he said yeah....another 5 or 6 minutes go by and nobody even makes an attempt to see if we want a menu or to tell us they would be right with us. I am still feeling optimistic at this point...the food looked good and I wasn't in a hurry....more time slips by...then....two men sit down at the table next to ours and immediately a waitress (one that has passed by our table many times and ignored us) tells the men, "be right with you guys!" with a huge smile and all....my husband and i just got up and left.... I don't know what that was all about...but I don't appreciate being made to feel insignificant. We were not rude, not in a hurry, not doing anything but waiting to be waited on and got nothing...I won't be returning and that sucks..the food looked good, I know that the brewery has good beer...but there is good food and beer other places in town! I can't believe how insignificant they made us feel. VERY RUDE! read more

Good beer selection, ok bar food. Service is always good. I stay in the Ameristay in the same parking lot once a month and would really like to see them accept American Express. If I had to pick one down side, that would be it. For those of us on company travel not wanting to rack up our own personal credit the AMEX is the best way to expense and since they do not take it, I dont go there as ofter. Instead I opt out for the Sportsman or something else. Overall, okay though. **Update** Since I last wrote this review Papa's has started accepting American Express! I have updated my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars now!! read more

Considering I had low expectations for this place, and given the fact that there's not much open after 10 pm in Moses Lake, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people here and the quality of service we received. As others have mentioned the food is decent, and they have a nice selection of food you can order. I was happy with my Joe Burger, no complaints here! read more

Papa's Casino - The Jody burger with curly fries - Nightlife Near Me - Moses Lake, Washington

OK bar food, not a bad selection of beer. They have a "mug club" where you get a larger mug of beer at a lower price (yearly membership fee for the club). Sports bar type atmosphere in the bar area, very small restaurant type seating off to one side. Card tables for gambling, bowling alley, and virtual golf course for entertainment.. read more

A local fav! I have tried wings all over the state of Wa and Papa's Citrus Chipotle chicken wings are HANDS DOWN THE BEST WINGS AROUND. Trying the local beers is great but they seem to specialize lately in IPA and I'm not a fan. BRING BACK ODALE'. The staff is generally friendly but can be busy and wait times can vary. I've always have had flavorful food and cold beer. That's why I give four stars. Best ceviche in ML but it's still mediocre. I recommend the wings. read more

I've had a lot of good experiences at Papas. The food is consistent with fast food quality at dine-in prices. Not much to be expected from Moses Lake. With the addition of their brewery, the beer at least, has taken an upswing. However their customer service ability is still lacking. For the last year my wife and I have been attending bowling with my company in a monthly event. We have been carded in the past, and I understand its a law, however if you want to enforce a rule please make sure you enforce it across the board and not to just some people. I understand working in the service industry is a no win job, and its grueling, but if you honestly think sharing a beer with my wife is reason to kick someone out, all the while not carding other people at said event, you should probably reconsider how you do your job. But again, not much to be said for this place. Their beer is the only shining star this place gets. The food is very lackluster, the customer service is OK at times, and just down right terrible at others. The whole bowling infrastructure and casino needs an overhaul like they did for the arcade. The atmosphere is pungent, when you first walk in you are hit with some sort of mix of BO and grease, which I get, its greasy restaurant with both kids and adults running around mixed in with young kids doing customer service. However, for what they charge I believe they could do a better job. If you are looking a place to actually enjoy yourself, I would recommend going out of town. read more

Papas has really gone downhill. The food comes out either under cooked or cold. The last time we went on Christmas we waited over an hour. We finally as the waiter and the food came right away; however ALL the food was cold and the chicken wings were undercooked and slimy. We will not be going back anytime soon! read more

We like their bowling alley and they have a nice sports lounge. If you like gambling they have some card tables and an arcade. It would be nice to see them get serious about their food. They seem to add/improve on this place all the time so we're excited to see what they do next. read more

I hate to admit it, but I grew up in the Ephrata/Moses Lake area. I spent my entire pre-adult life there prior to moving to the other corner of the country for a few years. This area is a cultural wasteland, and I honestly hate most things about going here except that I must to go visit my family. Thankfully there's Papa's there to keep my sanity for when I need to get out. As a bar, Papa's is a sports bar with a casino (I consider the attached bowling alley a separate thing). The thing that makes Papa's a good place in my life is their beer selection. It would be awful by Seattle's standards, but for this part of the state, I"m grateful that they carry a solid lineup of craft brews. Over thanksgiving while there, I was able to get Alaskan Smoked Porter on tap (a rare find), Pyramid Snowcap, and Redhook Winterhook. Not a bad session for the middle of nowhere. The bartenders and waitresses always give me funny looks and ask "you want what?" when I order any of their craft beers, and they clearly aren't knowledgeable outside of the bud/miller/coors realm, and I've received the wrong beer more than once and found out the taps were labeled wrong. But overall, I can't complain too much. As a man who loves his beer, I'd dread my trips to this area even more if it weren't for Papa's. The vibe of the place is the typical eastern Washington social scene. Mostly a roundup of local good ol boys and others visiting from out of town like myself. As a general rule, people from that area don't take too kindly to Seattle folk, so tread lightly when mingling, and think twice before saying where you're from (if you're from Seattle that is). I once had a guy basically tell me to get the hell out once I told him I was living in Seattle. So all in all, this place is an oasis in an otherwise dead night life. If you can handle the social awkwardness of the area, and just want a few good beers, this is your only option in Moses Lake. read more

The security act like they own the place you get kicked out for anything and the customer service is bad

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Not only that our server was very rude and so was other staff in the bar/ restaurant. We were left multiple time for 20-30 minutes at a time without being checked on us to order any food. Finally we went to the bar where again bad service from a rude employee who after catching herself being rude tried to correct it.. Which was too late after having waiting for 30 + to order food on a slow night. They refused to take our order at the bar and we had to wait again forever for our waitress. At this point I wanted to talk to a manager and leave but my brother wanted to stay. Our waitress tried to make up some sorry excuse about how she couldn't get away from a few tables. Funny since I saw her sitting down doing nothing and walk past our table many times. I dont know what else to say other than she was very rude in the way she said stuff to us and she could tell I wasn't happy. I found out later a possible reason why she was rude and unhelpful. I guess my idiot brother doesn't ever tip and goes to this bar often. Reguardless this was my first eating at this place and I do tip well. The food was okay. I didn't try any drink specials because I wasn't sure with our bad service it would make it to the table even. Basically its a hole in the wall trying to be a upper scale brewery. Someone tried to jump on that bandwagon and failed. read more

I have been coming here for years. Love the place and atmosphere. Half of the time we're lucky and get the sweet servers who make our time pleasant. The other half of the time it's one of the rude, entitled, and just completely unprofessional servers who seem to get worse with every visit. Some of these girls have been here for years too. It's unfortunate that they represent such a good place and ruin such a good vibe. If the service was better I'd give 5 stars. read more

The service used to be fairly decent and the food wasn't too bad, now the service sucks and the food isn't much better. Food has been served iced cold, wait staff is non-existent, portions compared to price are sad at best. This place has really gone down hill, now I remember why I haven't come here in the last year... read more

They changed the dance area to a game place! Not a bright idea especially b/c they do not have a good and wide selection of games. I was so looking forward to karaoke night but was so disappointed, change it back! The drinks are average b/c they are available anywhere. read more

So far so good! Been here twice and it's about as good as it gets in Moses Lake. Service was ok at the bar (bowling alley was better) but what brought us back was the beers and the Navajo salad. Quality is written all over these two things, especially in a small town where they don't even realize it. The locally brewed beers are delicious and the Navajo Salad is a combination of the freshest taco salad and an awesome open faced chalupa. Perfect late night bar food. Fresh beers and fresh ingredients gives this place 4 stars for me. read more

Love the place. Not to sound like a cliche, but they really do have fun for the whole family. They've got a bar, casino, restaurant, bowling alley, arcade, a brewery. Yeah, they've got it all. I've spend countless hours with friends and family at this awesome entertainment center. Oh and they've got plenty of televisions if what you're looking for is to watch a game or a fight. read more

I grew up in Moses and have been here before and had NO issues! Although this last time it was I think the WORST dinning experience my friend and I have EVER encountered. let me try to summarize this: * took 30 mins for anyone to service us (menus/water) * not given utensils/napkins when our appetizer came * when asked if we needed anything when our food came - asked for ranch and fry sauce - the chick turned around and walked away - I could feel her roll her eyes. and she just slammed the sauces on the table. We did NOT say thank you! We were about to leave.... but we were starving. * Food was ok - * NO tip was given either!!! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK FOR ANYTHING! read more

In a town where except places of little potential, this place has plenty but ends being a complete disappointment due to terrible service. Our server rushed us to finish dinner and pay by taking our plates and stating "I'm not trying to rush you but I'm trying to leave." We then moved to the bar, which was understaffed with one lady that was worse than if your high school buddies extremely uptight mom was running it. She was telling people to quiet down, didn't want to take orders, definitely not customer centered and felt like I was in her house as a guest. In all it's definitely the best option in Moses Lake and the gambling area service is good, but could be a lot better with some trained staff. read more

Still waiting for service........ Been a half hour. Only 5 ppl here. What the hell Its 2:30pm just gonna leave

went here for the Seahawks conference finals vs the 49ers (amazing game). and have been here before a few times. there food was average and there Tenpin beer is great. it was fast service for how packed it was to. My wife ordered Manny's from there tap and there was something wrong with the drink, I had some and it just didn't taste right almost skucky. But she drank most of it anyways. Later that night she did not feel well and I'm pretty sure it was from that beer. read more
