Again, they have fresh subs (among other things) made with fresh ingredients and there are a lot of choices. This time I tried the Smothered Steak and the Toscana. The Smothered Steak had A1 infused mayo which intrigued me. It was greasy but very good. Slightly similar to a cheesesteak. The Toscana was good as well but just like my last visit, the idea of pizza sausage on a sub threw me off. I forgot to ask about the different bread choices this time, I would have liked to try either with different bread.

I've even sent pictures to the owner (the original owners son showing no sauce). I've tried numerous ways to tell them that you should be able to taste sauce on a pizza. The former had been under the heat lamp a bit and was kind of dry, the latter was pretty fresh. By the time I finished the two slices, they had run out of pizza, so I grabbed a salad and waited. Now I'm not looking for this place to put out so much food that it goes to waste, but pizza is the only hot food at the buffet, so the stream of food should be pretty constant, but was not. I should dock a star for this, but I won't. Now the salad selection was decent. I noted that they used fresh mushrooms in the salad bar, but canned mushrooms for the pizza. Unfortunately, knowing they use canned mushrooms for their pizza prevents me from ever ordering pizza from this place, and caused me to dock a star. Mismatched booths, carpet that needed to be vacuumed, and walls that could use some fresh paint. I'm assuming they don't do much dine-in and most everything is take-out. I ordered the Sicilian 6" sub, which came with capicola, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese. The wait wasn't too long 7-10 minutes for it to be made. I brought it home and was impressed the bread was toasted. I really liked the sub. It had ample amount of meat, perfect size for me, and it tasted very good. With no other quick eating establishments in Lawton, this is a good place to grab a sub or a pizza to take home and enjoy.
