Ordered food from here on Friday, I paid for a 2 L of ginger ale. When the delivery driver came he had a root beer an said that they store didn't have Ginger ale. I said why didn't they call. I would give zero stars if I would! This is not the first time they have messed up an order!! Ordered from their app, they had a DoorDash delivery guy deliver it,m. He leaves the pizza box outside in the pouring rain. No calls, no door bell rang. I called them and they said there's nothing they can do about it, because it's a DoorDash order. I tried to explain that it's not my responsibility that they contact DoorDash for our orders. He To call their owner if I have any complaints. The pizza was good and hot. Staff very friendly and greet you as you enter store. The only thing is that I ordered barbecue wings and they were cold. I just threw them in the microwave and heated them up. I had to go back to work that's why I couldn't bring them back. Overall it's good pizza!! read more

The pizzas are fine at this location. I would not normally write a review on a Papa's but I feel compelled to give my two cents today. This Papa's does not have paper plates every time I go in. I don't know if that is a weird coincidence but it is annoying since I do not want to do the dishes. The service is slower than other Papa's as well. Food is decent, but during COVID, Papa John's totes their contactless delivery. Well a driver from this store arrived with no mask on, knocked on my door. My mom pointed to leave the order on the doorstep but the driver didn't so unbeknownst to my mom, she opened the door and the driver handed her the food less than 6 feet away, no mask talking to my mother who didn't know the driver was unmasked until it was too late, could have been possible exposure. I contacted corporate and they tried to give me a 50% off coupon for the trouble and I refused. They sent my complaint to this store and they were given 48 hours to respond and never did so that shows how much they care about health. I'm not a crazy germaphobe at all but don't say it's contactless when it really isn't. Be careful if immunocompromised or high risk for this reason because I DOUBT they were talked to by corporate and were corrected. read more

ZERO STARS if I could! (1) Delivery takes at least 1 hr 40 minutes (this has always happened when we've ordered at least the last 10 times. Get ready for luke-warm pizza delivered super late. (2) Pizza is barely warm by the time you get it. (3) STINGY on the toppings. You know it's bad when your 3 topping pizza looks like a cheese pizza that accidentally got some toppings dropped on it. (4) WORST customer service. Read below and see what I mean. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DELIVERY TAKES ALMOST 2 HOURS (and this has happened many many times). If you want a pizza from here, order it TWO HOURS before you want it and hopefully you enjoy luke-warm pizza. It's not a one-time occurrence. So far we have ordered from them over 10 times and it always takes over 1.5 hours to get to us. Today we ordered a pizza at 11am and even though we were guaranteed that it would get here by 12:10pm (our lunch hour for the office is 12-1pm), we didn't get the pizza (cold) until 12:40pm when our lunch hour was at least half over. The pizza took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to us. When we called to complain, the woman who answered the phone said she would give us some vouchers but had to speak with the owner and would call us back. They never called us back. We called them again and this time spoke with the owner (who happens to also be the delivery man) who said "listen we have to cross over a railroad to get to you and it takes time. You are FIVE MILES AWAY. You are far!" and refused to give us the vouchers his employee promised. The owner is RUDE and has the worst customer service. All they needed to do was apologize and give us the vouchers at his employee had promised. read more

I have been ordering Papa Johns pizza for over 2 years, once in a while, good quality and price, i usually ordering from Hoboken location, this time i was on my way south and decided to try this one, I placed same order as usually, pizza was looking much different much less cheese and toppings, i called the place, i never had such a horrible experience! When i explained him my issue, rep didn't want to cooperate or explain anything, just told that different locations doing staff differently, very rude!!! Im planning to contact corporate office and place my complaint about this place, would never go there again, would never recommend to anybody,if they dont care about custumer experience its a bad place to shop for anything. My wife and I are Vegan so we order pizza without cheese and only veggie toppings. We stopped ordering from Dominos because of the many mistakes they made with our pizza orders (putting Cheese on a No-Cheese Pizza). Our first order from Papa John's was okay but today the pizza was almost warm (not hot) and all of the toppings had slid all to one side of the box like the red heating bag was dropped on the way to our apartment and we weren't told. When I called, the manager did say that we could get a free pizza next time but we've been offered that at Dominos and the replacements sucked too so why bother. If you can't do something right the first time why should I give you a second chance? We're going back to Daiya Pizza from the grocery store. read more

This restaurant is run by terrible people. My little brother ordered a pizza and called to cancel the order within 5 minutes because he and his friends changed his mind. The person that answered the phone said are you sure because we're about to put it in the oven when another lady took over the phone and then lied by saying the delivery man was on the way. We said we don't want it, and she claimed she would come to our house to force us to pay for it. We said don't do that that's harassment and we hung up after stating we didn't want it and sorry we cancelled our order. We then got multiple calls from them, and they were threatening us and cursing at us and telling us we needed to pay and they would come to our house to force us to pay. If it were possible to post less than one star I would. Ordered for delivery at 3:33 pm. The "out time" on the receipt reads 4:01 pm. The pizza arrived at my front door at 4:51 pm. I live less than two miles away. When we called management at 4:30 we were assured he just left and our pizza would be hot. I've never ordered delivery and had to put it straight into the microwave. After receiving the food and finding it to all be cold, we called back. Conveniently the manager stepped out. The customer service skills of this location are awful. read more

With so many excellent local pizzerias, I really had no need to order from Papa John's. However, the chain was supporting some cause on TV, so I decided to give them a try. What I got surprised me--really one of the worst pizzas I've had in a long time--makes Pizza Hut seem gourmet! It amazes me that the chains like Papa John's, Domino's, and Little Caesar still manage to survive with all of the great local competition. Then again, I did see someone pick up a whole pie from a 7-11 that was across the street from Denino's! read more
