One of the best pizza places in the city and probably not even that well known by those living in…read morethe same area, the Pizza Parlour generally loses out to the Domino's, Papa John's et al situated nearby getting all the attention but if anyone in the south side of the city feels the need for the taste of a real pizza then head here or get it delivered. The Pizza Parlour is really a small restaurant that offers pizza and pasta in a more refined, but still casual, environment than many of us are used to unless going to Pizza Express. The Pizza Parlour is just as tasty as Pizza Express but not nearly as dear with it super size pizza - enough for three - only setting you back £11 for most toppings. There is also beer and wine which makes it some like more grown up experience but all of this can delivered if you still want to slob about in your pyjamas. Even though I do like a Domino's, you can still taste the difference here as the pizzas taste fresher and have a real home-made quality to them.

The cocktails must be great as they ran out of a lot of ingredients which was a little annoying when I switched from beer to cocktails but the one I had was very good. They had meantime from Greenwich on tap along with some other more local and less local options including Erdinger. The music was good and we ended up staying until closing. We didn't try the pizzas this time but they looked great and good value - £10.95 for a pint and pizza or £9.95 for a large prosecco and pizza. They also have two rooms for free hire and there was a birthday party upstairs. We'll be back.

When you walk in, you enter a very chill atmosphere perfect for grabbing a pizza and a pint. It's almost like a "pizza pub" because you order your pizza at the bar!
