Ordered the new Papadia to give it a try, along with the jalapeno poppers bites. Both were disappointing. The poppers were doughy, nowhere near uniform in size and tasted like vinegar and glue. The Papadia was okay. Not terrible, not spectacular and nowhere near the quality and caliber of Hungry Howie's sub, of which this is an obvious attempt to copy. Papa John's may have a better pizza and you pay for it, but Hungry Howie's is safe and gives you much more value for your dollar. I hate to admit it, but this is the first time Papa John's has let me down. It feels like being betrayed by an old friend. At least the Mt. Dew was reliable. read more

Placed a order for deliver at 5:15 told me it would be delivered at the house at 6.. we watched the delivery guy go to his first stop drop off his first stop then drive back to papa John.. we got a notification said it was delivered.. never showed up here... called the papa John's talked to the manager and he said he dropped it at the front door no one answered.. well I looked at the front door there is nothing here..got security cameras wrapped around my house like Fort Knox.. manager tried to argue with me and say the guy did and he has a picture of the front door to me the front door was white... that's crazy because my front door is black with windows.. he had the nerve to say " he might have dropped it to the wrong address" well no s***. I ain't gonna lie about a 20 dollar order. I wouldn't have wrote this review if the manager didn't argue with me thinking his deliver boy was right I would have cancelled it but it takes 14 days for the to refund it... read more

I often order pizza from this Papa Johns Pizza location in Lehigh Acres for delivery or pickup. I really like both their thin and original crusts. I love their dipping sauces too. My favorite is their garlic dipping sauce. A few times, I've stopped by this Papa Johns on my way home from work, just to pickup their garlic dipping sauce. I like how they are always striving to make new and unique specialty pizzas. My favorite pizza they have is their BBQ Chicken pizza, and I always add pineapple to mine. Their staff is always very friendly and helpful. Their store is small but efficient. Overall, great Papa Johns Pizza location! read more

Did not know it would be delivered by Door Dash, until tracked. Oh my! I Ordered the Cheesy burger pizza and it was disgusting. At least at Dominoes you got the cheeseburger pizza right when they did it, not all that burger sauce crap. It was cheesy!!! Wow, I'm told u have to get extra cheese with the cheddar, what the hell?!! You also could have seasoned the beef to taste like a seasoned burger, but no, just regular plain beef is given. Also no extra sauce to put on cinammon bites. I know other take outs do, like Dominoes. What happened to Papa Johns?! Too bad for this, it's sad! Do better please. read more

They had a special for Valentine's Day. So my hubby and I decided why not? We were tired fro A long and busy week. The special was a one topping heart shaped pizza and brownies. We called to order the special and they informed me that they were out of browny. They did offer to replace the brownies with one of their big chocolate chip fresh baked cookie. I agreed. We of course picked pepperoni. The pizza was thin crust and very tasty. The big chocolate chip cookie was fantastic. We're still eating it. Great choice for.Valentines dine-in. Next time we will try one of their regular pizzas. read more

Not impressed for got why i stopped ordering from this place but quickly reminded. They do not use papa johns signature sauce. If i go to ft myers or cape i get the sweet sauce but lehigh i just don't get you. That sauce is so horrid i had to scrape topping and sauce off just to stomach the plain bread so i could eat something. If you are a papa john franchise you are supposed to get there products to be uniform not use knock off nasty tomato paste from a can. I just ate at papa johns in cape 3 weeks ago so i know the recipe didn't change. Smh don't ruin the pizza make it right Papas way not this junk. read more

9:08 pm order placed order. 10:15pm order arrived wrong. Missing Parmesan crust Missing pineapple Missing green peppers Pizza was cold. When called to be facility the owner didn't speak very good English, got another guy on phone he said they wouldn't do a refund that they would send out a new order. ( mind you it's Valentine's Day and they told me it's their biggest day and it would take a hour for the new order ) 11:48 pm still no sign of pizza. When I called the store the lady told me it's just sitting there getting cold That they have no drivers available and it could be ANOTHER hour before receiving this food. VERY disappointed that I am now waiting until 1am for a reorder that they originally screwed up. read more

This place has made me ill both times i ordered from them. I did not experience the bad service others have written about though...

Pizza is terrible. Ordered extra large and a good 2 inches all around the edge had no cheese or toppings on it and the toppings were a disappointment since it hardly had any. Ordered with everything and you could hardly see any green peppers pepperoni etc. It's like they used what they would on an 8 inch pizza. And the dough they use is super sweet, hated that too. Will never buy another pizza at this Miami Springs Papa John's, it's awful. And yes, I should've taken a photo ... but why bother, I'm not going back. read more

*** I originally wrote this review in Sept. 2017 after Hurricane Irma hit SW Florida; I just now realized that it never even posted. :- [ *** RE Sparse toppings, size of pizza and rude, patronizing, dismissive manager at Papa John's franchise located at 1416-1418 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 I realize that I will never receive satisfactory compensation (i.e. a refund), or even any response from corporate by filling out their feedback form, emailing the CEO, and/or calling their toll free number. But by writing this review, maybe -- just maybe -- someone locally will avoid this place and spend their money at any number of surrounding, customer friendly, top-notch restaurants that offer pizza. Six days ago, Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc in many areas of Florida. As you can imagine: lives were lost, dwellings were damaged or completely destroyed, many stores are still closed and the few that are open close early due to curfews in effect, millions are still without electricity and must boil their water, basic necessities that we all take for granted like water, ice, bread and gasoline (not to mention phone service) require patience (waiting in lines) and a whole lot of lucky timing (that you'll just happen to see a truck unloading, or the station doesn't run out of gas just as you finally get your turn at the pump). Even though I detest the prolonged suffering, terror and excruciating pain inflicted on animals by factory farms and slaughterhouses, last night (9/15) I thought I'd treat my elderly neighbor to a pizza...you know, a hot meal for a change ~ especially since he wasn't sure what he had left to eat once I dropped him off (we spent well over an hour at the Cricket store trying to resolve the problem with his cell; by then, the supermarket had already closed early.) It's important to mention that every employee I spoke to at this Papa John's -- from the cashiers, to the food prep people to a delivery person -- was hot, tired, working their fingers to the bone and YET: were still pleasant and managed to smile. When they called my name, I wanted to make sure it was what I had ordered. OMG! There were 2 tiny pieces of onion, HALF of a single pepperoni slice and a couple of sausage crumbles. But what really shocked me was the size: I had paid $12.72 for a 12" pizza, and what I got instead would have fit perfectly in an 8" box! I wish I had the presence of mind to take a picture to prove my point, but I really was dumbfounded. All I managed to say was that this wasn't what I paid for; I paid for a 12" inch; this is the size of a personal pizza; I should get what I paid for. Just then, the manager rushed by and said: "well, the dough is fresh, so it shrinks a little!" A LITTLE? Are you kidding me? And how stupid does he think we are? I watched the size of the dough balls that the employees flattened and formed one after the other, and it seemed strange to me that so many people (most with children) would be waiting 30+ minutes for a personal sized pizza. Now I know why! This ______ manager was deliberately ripping off his customers! I feel sorry for all of the families who got home and could only feed SOME of their kids. Since I repeated that this wasn't what I paid for, he said: "Look, we're doing the best we can." Yeah; to cheat your customers (who are already going through a difficult time) and make extra money, you greedy, heartless ________. Manager: "What do want? You want to wait another 30 minutes for a new one?" Me: "No, cause that'll just 'shrink' too. Can't you at least give me a partial refund?" Manager: "Look at all these people...You're holding up the line. I suggest you take a free soda and have yourself a nice day." It was approximately 9 o'clock at night. As he walked away, he shouted to everyone waiting that he was closing -- so not only would he not have had the ingredients to replace my pizza had I insisted that he do so, it wasn't me stopping people from placing their order. read more

Save your money, they make you wait 2 hrs and then pizza is cold, they forgot my drink, gave me 3$ for the inconvenience of not having a drink but if I have to run out myself what sense does it make to pay 10$ tip and order delivery if I have to go out myself anyway? Have ordered from this store twice this year and this is what always happens. Save your money and time and just order from dominos, your pizza won't take two hours and it will be hot and they don't forget your stuff. Won't order from them again. read more

I used to like Papa John's, but I had some recent bad experiences and wrote to customer service (3/17/13), who said that someone would get back to me. They never did. I wrote to them again on 4/11/13, and nobody responded. I had complained that the order of chicken poppers were ridiculously undersized for the most part. See photos that I uploaded. Not only do I feel I was cheated out of funds, but nobody bothered to rectify the situation. read more

Papa Johns is my favorite pizza place. But due to their horrid delivery times and absolutely awful staff I frequent them less and less. This store seems to be on a roll with bad service. I only order from them once every 6 months or so because every time I do they cannot get the food out in a reasonable time. 20m after they open I place an order, 65m. That seems pretty crazy for just opening but okay, I'll bite. Perhaps they've gotten better. They make the pizza immediately and then it sits there for over 90m before it leaves to be delivered. Driver shows up, it has now been nearly 2 hours after I ordered mind you, I open the box and the pizza is barely warm, cheese is hard, exactly what you would see from a pizza that is 2 hours old. I told him I do not want it, they need to remake it. He then has the audacity to lie to my face saying he watched it come out of the oven when I know for a fact this is not how they're set up. I told him to call his manager. The kid got in his car and just drove away. So now I'm on the phone with the store. A young lady picks up, I ask to speak to the manager and she says she is. I proceed to tell her my issue and she offers to remake it and tells me its going to be 90 more minutes before they can get back out here. I tell her that is unacceptable, I want a hot, fresh pizza, not another warm old one. She then argues with me that they can't put my order ahead of the other 6 they have there and I was floored. She then asked me if I would like to speak to the manager to which I replied, didn't you tell me you're a manager? So you too lied to me. Another person picks up the phone, very rudely, asks me what my problem is. I told her I just want a hot fresh pizza and you're telling me that you're unable to do that? She said she can remake my pizza but it will now be 90m to 2 hours before she can get it out. You can't be serious. She too tells me that there are 6 orders ahead of mine. No there's not, I placed my order 2 hours ago, you're telling me that you can't figure this out? She then goes into a rant that they don't have enough people there to get it out faster. First of all, why would you make excuses to a customer about how you're failing at your job. They don't want to hear it. You're a "manager". Do you know what that means. You're supposed to manager things, things like people, quality, schedules. You know, those things that impact your business and customers. I told her back up, I just want my pizza, hot, fresh and not in 2 hours. Seems pretty simple, it takes 8m, to cook a pizza, send the driver right back out as soon as he returns, they're 15m away. She tells me she will not. When I told her what managers are supposed to be doing and how awful she was she then asked if I wanted to speak with the manager?!!!!!! What have I been doing the last 3 minutes? You can not be serious. His name is Luis and he will be in tomorrow. They should literally shut this place down. The people who are attempting to run it do not belong there. They have no customer or listening skills. They're clearly flying by the seats of their pants and they're being lead, which is laughable because there are clearly no leaders in those 4 walls, by incompetent people whom all think they are managers but clearly do not have any traits of leaders. Also the staff have zero issues attempting to lie their way through the BS that is papa johns, Lehigh Acres, FL. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Ordered a pizza at 5pm on a Thursday. Estimated wait time was 119-129 minutes. Pizza was out for delivery at 5:17 pm. Didn't receive delivery until 6:07pm. Pizza was out for 55 minutes and arrived soggy and cold. Never again. Would give a zero star if possible. read more

Ordered a pizza for my 70 year old grandmother who can't leave to get herself food because of the pandemic and the food arrived with the wrong toppings, raw, and inedible. The sauce tasted old and the dough wasn't cooked at all. When I called and asked to speak to a manager the manager refused to send a new order or issue a refund and said 25% off the next order was the best they could do. Why would I want to reorder from here after this? When I asked for the manager's name she refused to give her name to me because she said she wasn't going to lose her job over this because she clearly knew she was doing something wrong. I offered to show them the pizza and bring the whole thing back and they still refused and had the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Don't ever order from here. read more
