Not a "we'll be right with you," not a "sorry for the wait," nothing. What makes it even worse is that the employees seemed far more interested in standing around the bar and pouring drinks than taking care of customers who were waiting for their food. Apparently, actually helping customers who have already paid for their meals wasn't a priority. Being busy is one thing. Completely ignoring someone standing right in front of you is another. Basic customer service isn't complicated: acknowledge the customer, communicate, and take care of them. This place managed to fail at all three. My wife shouldn't have to stand there feeling invisible just to pick up a pizza she already ordered. If this is how customers are treated when they walk through the door, we'll gladly take our business somewhere else. Absolutely unacceptable. We won't be back

But don't let that worry you. Our party of 6 all agreed that this was some of the better pizza they'd had in a restaurant setting, including the veggie pizza which normally my mother finds soggy and tasteless. The crust is crispy and the toppings fresh, and even the button mushrooms I absolutely detest were tolerable and even sometimes tasty. Our waitress Haley was extremely personable and took great care of us, and talked to us often whenever she came by. Almost any time that the waitstaff act like real people, we have a great time and the food quality matches it. In a very small town an hour away from the food Mecca Atlanta, we have found little of note ever since Doris, our favorite Cuban restaurant in the country, closed up shop. However, Johnny's will comfortably remain a standby whenever we are in town.

Once the food arrived our calzones had no ingredients in the first half of the calzone. As we ate we finally found ingredients. The pepperoni was stacked in there 5 pieces thick. They ingredients we barley cooked. The service was deplorable and well beneath any reasonable establishment. I would skip this Johnnys and find another pizza restaurant to eat at.
