Dr. Ball was the most disrespectful provider I have ever seen. I took my partner to my second appointment with Dr. Ball to make sure I was not overreacting to his behavior. My partner agreed that he was very condescending. When I asked a question about my x-rays, he literally said to me, "You're not a radiologist." I didn't know Dr. Ball was either! Thought he was a podiatrist... Went to a different podiatrist with copies of the x-rays (as they do not provide a CD or have an online system so I can share the results). She explained in great detail all the parts of my feet that had issues. Per Dr. Ball, the only thing wrong with my feet was that my Achille's tendon was too tight. Nah, dude, there were so many things wrong. I told him that a previous podiatrist had told me that I had broken my foot. He told me he saw no evidence of a fracture, even after he re-reviewed the images. This new podiatrist right away told me about the break and pointed out how and why she knew it was broken at some point. The office staff (besides Rebecca) were some of the most unprofessional assistants I have encountered in health care. I could not speak with the provider, even though the plan of care he gave for me (a stretch and a boot to further stretch the Achille's tendon) were causing me more pain. Took months to get refunded money, even though I told the front office person that I had met my deductible. TL/DR: if you actually want care for a foot issue, go somewhere else.

Even when I spoke directly with Dr. Darragh, promises were made (he claimed to be very behind on billing), but nothing happened. It's been extremely frustrating, and now I'm past my insurance's filing deadline with no documentation. The medical care itself was fine, but the administrative side has been disorganized and unhelpful. It's clear that once Dr. Darragh has your money, there's no incentive for him to submit to insurance on your behalf. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of the significant communication and billing issues.

Only until the 4th or 5th visit and my ongoing questions about pain around other areas of my foot has he suggesting a MRI, thinking now that maybe I may have had a hairline fracture to other areas. A good Dr. knows he or she is in the business of people care. Dr. Cha seems to have tunnel vision, doesn't always listen to patients, can be curt and dismissive.
