When I went in all of a sudden I had 5 cavities, so I got the fillings for them and my back left tooth was still sensitive weeks after the fillings. I told dr Wang and she said to wait it out which is odd Bc you rather check it before it gets worse. After a while I asked her if I could come in and she tried to "fix my bite". While I came in fully wise (4 wisdom teeth), I left with only half of the smart chompers as expected. The entire experience was a single visit-intake, X-rays, evaluation, and dual extraction. They provided me with appropriate amounts of anesthetic and I really didn't feel anything. I didn't like the sounds (other than my choice of calming music); that's appropriate. The actual procedure was about 5 minutes long and no follow up is anticipated be needed there. A project well done. The healing process isn't too bad, either.

My old PFM crowns have all have an ugly line at the bottom margin, as well as metal showing on the top of the crown (that looks like an old school silver amalgam filling). Moreover, the color does not look natural all, and they are VERY susceptible to chipping and becoming unsightly and uncomfortable to my tongue. Dr. Andrews designed this Zirconia crown so good it looks identical to the natural crown on the other side of my mouth. It looks %100 natural, something I could never say about my porcelain crowns. The shape and color match are perfect. I have two other Zirconia crowns (implants) that Dr. Andrews placed 8 years ago. Not a single chip, they still look and function perfectly!

He explained to me my options in a very clear precise way without any medical jargon. As result of that, his explanation helped me make the best possible decision about my oral needs and my finance as it relates to the excellent service and care he provided today. The only downside, my procedure started 20 minutes late despite arriving more than 30 minutes early which meant I should have deducted one star from his awesome service. So why did I still rate Dr. Hornung at Merrimack Valley Oral Surgeons with 5 stars? It is because he called me personally over the phone that same evening, a personal call, to see how I was doing. I was like, wow! That has never ever happened to me in my entire life where the doctor calls you back to check on you to see how you are doing. BOOM! 5 stars. The procedure was done before I realized it was ever even started. I was very comfortable during the entire procedure. The meds he prescribed were ready for pick up at my local pharmacy when I arrived home. I took the meds he prescribed as recommended. I feel nearly pain free and relaxed. This is for the Leominster Mass. office. They advertise early/late appointments and weekend,…read moreemergencies by appointment. That is not the case. The earlies they open is 8:00 am and they close at 5:00pm, except Friday. They close @ 1:00 on Fridays and it takes an act of GOD to get a Saturday appointment and once you get it they call you to reschedule. You would think havbig "dry socket" after they pulled a tooth would warrant an emergency appointment, it didn't. I suffered for 8 days. Could barely open my mouth and was advised to take some Tylenol. Google said I should gently stretch my mouth or it could lead to permanent problems. I have also had them use Benzocaine on me to numb my gums. my chart clearly states I am severely allergic to this. I ended up having to be rushed to the emergency room at 5:00 am because of this. If I had swallowed any of it, my throat would have swollen and blocked my airway. I could have been killed. Got a huge bill that Aspen won't compensate me for. I still have to remind them to NOT use this gel on me. The worst part, is that there are other instances of poor customer service & excessive billing. Far too many to list here. I think I have given them enough chances, time to find a new dentis.

I'm in my 40s and thought I was going to be in for a terrible time since I waited so long to get my wisdom teeth taken care of. Dr. Feldman and her team are great. Her office is super responsive and I didn't have to wait long for the surgery. Her new space in Arlington is beautiful. The procedure itself was a BREEZE. I opted to be completely sedated, so all I experienced was walking in, having a nice chat with the doctor, passing out, and waking up (happily?) with four fewer teeth. The worst part of the experience was the mouth gauze (ugh, gag), but I was able to ditch that pretty soon after I got home. BUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE: I work in a medical setting, and I know that drug protocols and pain control can make or break the immediate post-op experience for a patient. Homegirl has her drugs dialed in. I was *literally* pain free for the first 48 hours after the procedure. I had to remind myself to take ibuprofen regularly to keep the inflammation down, because I didn't need it for pain right away. YES, OF COURSE, it's not comfortable to have four bleeding holes in your mouth. But it's a heck of a lot more pleasant when the worst part of your recovery is pain free, and you only start to experience the discomfort when you're over the hump. Dr. Feldman takes what should be a terrible and traumatizing experience and turns it into something that's extremely manageable. I hope I never see her again, and I am also recommending her to everyone who has also procrastinated their dental care.
