He charged me for a glass door with a flap but he actually fitted a much smaller panel half the price and then instead of being reasonable about things and charging me less money he got defensive and demanded the money he originally quoted me for a larger door glass. I've since been to Bristol glass who confirmed that the smaller panel should have cost me half the price and so I was right and I am justified to say he totally ripped me off. So beware this is not a nice company to deal with.

I won the case, but he challenged me to apply to wind up his company, which would cost me more money, with no assurance of getting anything out of him as he declares no money in bank and no company assets to sell. There are loopholes in the UK law that allows such cheat to escape scot free and Steve Hicks is a well accomplished cheater who knows how to get around the law.
