However, some neighbors with the same situation told us they successfully purchased screen doors from Nevada Tough Doors. So, we visited the showroom on Rock Blvd. and fell in love with the Viewguard security screen door and asked for an estimate. Frank (the owner) came out to explain the process to us, precisely measure our front doorway, and give us an estimate. He asked for nothing but a handshake to order a custom door for us. A few weeks later Zee came to install our new door. He is a true craftsman, precisely trimming the threshold, aligning the frame, and mounting it to the door trim. It took less than 2 hours. He installed a new threshold, which allows the door to completely seal when closed. Frank called the next day to check if we were satisfied, we absolutely are. It's perfect! (Included are some photos of the door and the threshold, before and after installation.)

We wanted Andersen windows and our first quote was from the national Andersen Window advertisement we always get in the mail. We were shocked by the price to replace only 8 of the 12 windows in our house. Our second quote was from Ryan at Eagle Window and Doors. The price quote for all twelve of our windows was approximately 1/3 of the price quoted for only 8 windows. Eagle proceeded to do the work, and we are extremely pleased with the result. Eagle was easy to work with and very helpful in researching what kind of Andersen windows we wanted - we got different glass types for different facing windows which makes our house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It has been two years now and we couldn't be happier. Our electric bill is much lower and we have had no problems whatsoever. Installation was quick and professional. All our neighbors commented on how good our windows looked. Eagle Windows and Doors did a wonderful job and the value was outstanding. They certainly deserve the highest rating!

Cris responded quickly to my request for an estimate. An appointment was made soon afterward to…read moremeet at the site of the project. As promised, he gave me a more exact estimate with an itemized explanation on the day after the meeting. His quote was reasonable and quite competitive. There were a couple of rainy and snowy days during the project. Cris' crew had to take a couple more trips to the site, as the joint compound on the interior drywall and the surface of the exterior siding were not dry enough for additional work with the joint compound and/or painting. They wanted to ensure a good quality of the work result, but Cris did not raise the price for their having to take additional trips to the site. Cris managed the project, and most of the time it was Margarito who led the team on-site. Margarito was strong and efficient. He could handle heavy and bulky items by himself that usually might require two people. It was amazing to see how much progress he and his team could make in a day. The existing metal siding of this house was no longer available on the market. Margarito thoughtfully went with me to Home Depot to pick a material with a proper texture on the surface, then carefully cut it into stripes, and precisely stacked them on the wall, so that the new siding ended up matching the old siding extremely well, including its color and texture. (See attached photo.) Margarito always paid attention to details. For example, he would carefully and skillfully apply the joint compound so smoothly on the drywall that you could hardly see the tape, holes, bumps, and other defects. They also cleaned the site before they left every day. It was appreciated that Cris was always accessible and responsive when needed. He told me his team could take care of different types of projects, big or small. I am happy with their work result and will be glad to consider CM Remodelling for any future project.
