I cannot say enough how happy and extremely satisfied I am with our experience with Brother's. We had 4 windows that were old, unfunctional and missing screens. We called in Brother's and got a very reasonable quote that beat a competitors price. After paying the deposit our windows were ordered. We were on the back end of the covid caused delay so we understood the wait time which was approx. 11 weeks. From the initial quote visit with Kevin to installation with Lawrence, the whole process was flawless. They estimate 1 hour per window at installation but it's actually faster than that. Lawrence was professional and well seasoned in his work. He guided his assistant and got through it all quickly. They cleaned as they went and left nothing undone. I can open the windows and feel the beautiful breeze when cleaning which is exciting to me and the new windows make my house look bright and fresh. What a difference it makes to have updated, functional windows. First thing I said is I didn't want doors that were too fancy for our house. We need four doors and we got a quote for $11100.00 WOW. They suggested a front door that costs $3300 holy cow. If they only had some cheaper options something in the neighborhood of $5500 we would have used them. read more

On August 25, 2023 I met with Brothers home improvement Inc salesman Jake at my 20 year old home. All my windows were leaking from the time I purchased the home in 2016, and during the California fires, my home was smelling like smoke, and we knew that we would have to change out the windows. Jake was very professional, and very thorough with each measurement and gave me a bid. At that time I also had five other bids from other companies. My bids range for 19 windows, from $9200-$103,000. This was all for standard windows with LE3/argon gas, for all glass is temper in entry and bathrooms. Brothers home improvement was not the cheapest company that I received a bid from, but was very competitive and their product was superior. About two weeks after we were giving the bid, we decided to go with Brothers, home-improvement. We called Jake, signed the contract and gave our deposit. The windows were ordered, and Jeremy was now our contact until day of installation. Brothers, Home, Improvement, has financing outside of their company. We chose our own's financing. Several times in this process I had questions and Jeremy had my answers on October 23, 2023 at 9:30 AM, the crew to install was at my door they worked diligently until 3:30 PM Pacific standard time to install the first 11 windows. On October 24, 2023 at 9:30 AM Pacific standard time again, the crew started and finished the remaining eight and was gone by 2:30 PM. These windows are superior to any house I have had, built or have rented out in my lifetime. I'll give this company a 110%. From Sales, to scheduling, concerns, and installation far exceeded my expectations. I recommend Brothers, Home, Improvement, Inc. with my highest recommendation. read more

Well, IF they complete the job by installing all of the CORRECT screens and replace the broken window and install the window with safety glass , I will recommend Brothers. Ordered the 17 windows and screens, the best they have, back in August 2020. Installed late October, and am still waiting for previous mentioned issues to be addressed. The product is excellent, when they install the ones we paid for. The customer service representative seems very sincere, as does her boss who I have interacted with a couple of times. I understand that COVID and fires in CA have caused setbacks. But to not get the order correct? 8 months in and still waiting to have the order completed correctly. Coming out a second time with the wrong product? In the end I trust they will refund at least 10% of the cost, and I will update my review accordingly. Brothers replaced 24 windows in my house, along with screens on most windows they installed. I got estimates from Brothers and one other company, both had overall good Yelp reviews. The other company gave me a slightly lower estimate. However, Brothers came out with big display cases of windows and frames, and smaller displays of a variety of obscuring glass for bathroom windows. I believe this was Jake. He sat and went over everything about the windows and made several excellent suggestions that I took. The other company took more time to respond, and when they came out just took measurements and about a week later sent an estimate, unlike Brothers who had everything back to me in record time. The other company said if I wanted to see frames, windows, types of glass I would have to go to their shop on the other side of town. No discussion or explanations. Finally, Brothers had a lifetime warranty on their window, unlike the other company. Like everything now, it took time for the windows to come in and of course arrived for the coldest weather we had experienced at that time. They were done in two days, although one very late. A very courteous, professional and knowledgeable crew, had no issues with my big dog. Asked if I had questions every time they were here. We just went through some of the most rain and snow I've experienced here, with no leaks. The windows are beautiful and noticeably change the temperature and noise in my house. My only suggestions if using Brothers: between the time of the estimate and the time the crew came out to measure, I changed my mind on the glass in one bathroom window. I told the crew doing measurements what I wanted, they said would be a little more, and I said fine. The change wasn't made and I ended up with what I originally requested. So if making a change, be sure to follow up and get it in writing. There were a few small pieces of broken glass left outside, although inside and windows well cleaned. When the crew left I checked all windows and some had not been locked. No big deal but something you should check. Overall I could not be happier; I made the right choice. I had five companies come and share their brand of windows with me. The last company was Brothers Home Improvement Inc. with Jake as the salesperson. While he didn't share the model showing the benefits between single pane, double pane and triple pane as I had already seen it; he did share the process of retrofitting the new windows into the existing framework that the other four didn't share. Unlike other companies that remove the head, apron and side casings, Brothers doesn't as to not disturb the integrity of the window and house's insulation. The Simonton windows I selected has a slim design as to maximize the amount of light coming into my home, but not the heat/cold. Brothers has a triple measurement process as to ensure that the American-made windows fit perfectly. I had a full team of Kevin, Luis, Raul, Diego and Ignacio that worked well together as they are all employees and not sub-contractors. They were on-time, cleaned up after themselves, cleaned the windows with no smudges before leaving and easily completed the job in one day. They were available by phone, text and emails. Cannot rave sufficiently! Brothers replaced every window in our two-story house around five (maybe six) years ago. We have been very pleased with their work, their professionalism and the windows which greatly reduce summer heat and winter draft, significantly lowering energy bills. Recent (unusual) torrential rains resulted in a leak in the large window and they immediatley responded with an inspection and subsequently sent a team who took care of that issue as well as inspecting every other wndow to ensure we would have no problems. Brothers came out to my home and gave a very competitive quote to replace windows in my stucco home. We had a large 3 window - single frame window replaced. Window was ordered with an 8 week delivery time frame. Window was delivered in 4 weeks. The 3 person install crew was on time, polite and courteous. They took care with blankets, clean up and removal of old windows. The installation was just over an hour which was amazing. I had 15 windows installed by Brother's last year. I purchased their proprietary double pane windows which they manufacture in Sparks. They are high efficiency and qualified for the tax credit. They are seemingly very durable remodel (new frame goes over the existing frame as opposed to ripping the old frames out) windows which come with a lifetime warranty as long as you live in the house. The windows look nice and were installed with only some minor issues. My only rub against the company would be the installation...I think the installation crews work a little too fast and that is why it's important to monitor their progress. Thankfully the window's have a lifetime warranty, so it's a comforting knowing that if there are issues they can be rectified in short order. Triple pane windows from Hunter Douglas will cost you 60-80% more than Brothers remodel windows, and I'm not certain the energy savings is enough to offset the huge jump in pricing. My advice would be get a Brothers estimate first before you look at the more expensive installers and manufacturers in town.... read more

I was going to give them a 1 but they gave us 2 discounts and a life time warranty. First of all it has taken a year to have the windows installed. Yes I know pandemic caused backlogs but a YEAR!? First bc the windows weren't ready. Then bc the screens weren't ready. Finally after calling to find an update (bc why would they take the time to do so)they said they were going to give us the new and improved screens but guess what? They aren't ready! Ok so can we install everything and have the screens replaced (even if it takes another year)" Uh yes we can do that". So the appointment was scheduled. We will be there between 8 and 9. They showed up at 930. Cheapest of the cheapest screens ever (2 of them are already broken) and one of the latches was broken. I texted them 5 days later bc why would they ever call us even though the installer said he would have it replaced. "Send pictures to see what you are talking about". Your installation team didn't communicate with you about the broken latch? Ugh!!! Would I recommend this company? Yes, to people who have a lot of patience and like having cheap screens. read more

After getting several estimates for 15 new windows, 2 sliders, and 1 garden window, we decided to go with Brothers due to their warranty, even though it was the highest bid. Installation was a disaster, caulk on the carpet, a screen with a hole in it, and worst of all, LEAKING windows during the first storm. And I mean water was blowing in the house (see photos). The same installation crew came out to fix the leaking windows and said they should have used clear silicon instead of white (I don't know what that means). Since then, my husband noticed some kind of missing flap on the outside of one of the windows. Contacting Customer Service has been a joke since then, they say someone will call back an no one does.
