The old railway building. Thanks yelp for making me aware. They have a lunch special with a selection of burgers and a chicken sandwich for £10 (at the time of this review 07/2023). That includes a side of fries. I noticed every restaurant that you walk In the host will ask you about any allergies or intolerances. If you let them know you're they will let you know what to avoid. Or if they do not know they will send you a manager who knows. There must have been a huge problem with allergies and it is a great way to avoid it. It is, in the beginning, a bit annoying until you realize it is actually a good thing (I wonder if Mcdonald's to the same - I'll might have to try that). So I ordered the chicken burger with a breaded fried chicken breast some black pepper mayo sauce some salad, Onions, and a slap of avocado. WOW - the nicely tasting breaded chicken was fried to perfection and it was a really big piece without drying out. Good job! the "burner" was definitely the combination of chicken and that avocado spread mixed in With the black Peppercorn mayonnaise - an almost perfect bite. The bun was not too big to get in the way of tasting what's important all other ingredients have been fresh and am tasty the fries also fried to a crisp state without being burned. Hands down a surprisingly great burger. Oh, I will be back - the service was five starts as well quick, knowledgeable, and friendly!

I keep going here every week and keep forgetting to add the…read morebusiness to Yelp *slaps wrist* bad Toby I'd passed Vanilla Fudge many times in my morning commute, never really knowing exactly what it was, the name Vanilla Fudge doesn't really tell you much about what's actually inside, in fact if you search for Vanilla Fudge on yelp, you get clothes shops... this place most certainly has nothing to do with clothes It wasn't until I got into my new job that my new team introduced me to this gem. Friday morning they all have a routine of Morning deadlines sorted, time for breakfast, and my god breakfast is epic! so much so the guys class it kind of an initiation that you must have breakfast from here to truly be part of the team. Vanilla Fudge does your usual cooked breakfast expectations, bacon sarnies, sausage sarnies, egg if you so wish... but to take it to the next level they do the Gorilla Filla! it's a triple stack, Toast, egg, 2 Sausages, Toast, 2 or 3 Bacon, Egg, Toast, Gorilla Filla is a well chosen name... What I also feel propels this into epic level is not just that it's what you want/need to get you through that last day before the weekend, it's the price... £2.70!!!, for all that, it's brilliant, I also really like that you get it oldskool in grease proof paper. If breakfasts weren't enough, once when picking up the morning order, I had a gander at their menu, there's actually quite a large choice, pizzas, potatoes, wraps, sandwiches a whoooooooooole mish mash of stuff, so I figured I'll have to come back at a lunch time and partake in some of this then. When you walk in they have a black board right after the front door, it has a special on it, the owner picks one of his wraps from the menu and it goes on the board for the week, their wraps normally cost £2.50 I think, when on the specials board 2 for £3 BARGAIN!... now I must confess I utterly pigged out at lunch, I had the special of two wraps and also got some chips for £1.30, partially naivety I didn't realise how large the portion of chips would be, what I ate would have easily fed two (don't judge me). The wraps were really tasty, little spicier than I would like but not badly so and also they have different filling so there are less spicier choices, the chips were quite tasty salt n vinegar'd well. Price to taste Ratio for city centre I think is brilliant.

It's interesting how they seat you first and then you have to go up to the counter to order. The menu is extensive but everything centers around their chicken. Coming in all portion sizes, the meals allow you to pick the proper sides you want, which allows for utmost customization when choosing sides. I got an order of the half chicken with two sides (peri-salted chips and coleslaw). There's no doubt that the seasoning that they use at Nando's makes for tasty chicken. Add in the sauces that they have laying around and you can get your chicken adjusted to your taste buds. The sauces that I enjoyed were the garlic peri-peri and the medium. Both made for great dipping sauces. Going back to the chicken, it wasn't as meaty as I hoped it be but I thought it was decent chicken. The sides were average, nothing to write home about. The chips were lightly seasoned which went great with the sauces. In all, I didn't think Nando's was out-of-this-world. I thought it was ok and will give you a decent meal if you're in a pinch.

I've passed this place on many occasions, it normally looks slightly more modern and nicer than other branches as it stands out more with the glass building. On this occasion, I ordered from PRET A Manger via UberEATS, having my food delivered to the Crown Plaza Hotel in Manchester city centre, I simply just bought a ham and cheese sandwich, freshly prepared in store which cost £2.49, with delivery charges from UberEATS of £2.50, these are two locations which are around a one mile walk or a two mile drive away, my UberEATS delivery driver came on a motorbike and took around 10 minutes to come once my food had arrive, matching the average speed given to a car to drive between the destinations on Google Maps. I'm going to keep this review focused on PRET, rather than just Uber eats, overall I did enjoy my sandwich, most of the ingredients tasted quite good quality and I loved the addition of black pepper, perhaps the sandwich was a tad on the pricier side but as it was above average quality, I'm willing to let that slide a bit as I would say it was worth around the £2.49 mark before the UberEATS delivery charge which was more than I actually paid for my sandwich, luckily I had a £5 voucher to try out the service anyway. The sandwich was good quality, albeit the cheese was a little too creamy in my opinion. The gluten free selection at PRET other than a few soups or salads could be improved, such as bringing gluten free sandwiches which would please coeliacs and also appeal to the health market which PRET seem to be targetting so hard. Overall, this is a nice store with decent quality food warranting a high three star rating, slight issues with pricing and other things mentioned mean I sadly don't think this store warrants a higher rating than three at this current moment in time.

I had a double berry muffin which was delicious but maybe a little too much berry content made it a bit soggy. My dining companion had a nice festive mince pie, which was good but very crumbly making it a challenge to eat. One pet hate is the use of take out cups when staying in. Come on Pret - get some decent cups!!

I have been meaning to review this store for a while, located near enough inbetween Santander and Lloyds Bank on Mosley Street in Piccadilly Gardens, the branch is a little small considering it is one of the main branches serving Manchester city centre, and is quite a wide yet short store, with limited seating. The staff didn't seem too friendly, and just the typical staff you would associate with a fast food chain. The gluten free situation here is very poor, with the only gluten free options being a side salad with no dressing, applesauce and french fries, even the hash browns have gluten in, which is poor show, even they wouldn't be classed as gluten free just without wheat due to contamination issues being highly likely, making this a place to avoid for coeliacs, but it is a place to avoid if you are gluten free anyway, joining KFC in being the worst fast-food chains for gluten free options, but as a coeliac at least I can have the fries here! Overall, this Burger King branch isn't really nice, with limited seating, the only thing that makes it stand out in a nice, welcoming way is the sign, but as you walk in it changes to the dramatic opposite, so with so many places in Manchester sadly I don't feel why someone would chose to go to this one due to all poor aspects of the store mentioned, warranting a single one star.

Alas, my first experience of this takeaway joint wasn't as amazing as I'd hoped. I guess it's purely a matter of taste and I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but the pizza just wasn't up to scratch. Lacking in flavour and perhaps a bit too thin in the crust department, my pepperoni left my wishing i'd ordered a side of chips. However, flavourless food doesn't seem to have put anyone else off as the place always seems to be occupied, mainly with those on their way home after a few scoops at The Black Lion, a few doors down. Perhaps that's the key to enjoying food at La Citta - just add alcohol and it tastes amazing? Hmmm. I may give it another go some time but for now I'll just keep walking. That's a much healthier option, after all.
