My husband saw Dr. Gilmore for his toe. Not only did he just basically tell him what he really already knew, but they didn't even have the capability to X-ray his foot. What kind of orthopedic clinic can't do an X-ray? They sent him to another place to have the X-ray. We got there and waited almost an hour to be told they couldn't do the X-ray that was needed. This doctor clearly cares more about; how many people he can see in a day/money more than the actual health of the person his is seeing. While I do not see doctors often, this was by far the worst experience I have had. Went two times, one initial visit and a follow up. Spent several hours on both occasions waiting to be graced with Dr. Gilmore's presence. When he would finally arrive I was able to see him for no more than 5 minutes, this was on both occasions. Honestly this is not an exaggeration, though I wish it was. Maybe he is a wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable doctor. Sadly I did not see any of this opon my visits. Ohh, and to top off the amazing doctor experience. His "in house pharmacy" gave me the wrong medicine. I did not evven notice until I got home, real safe.... I watched the exiting people during my wait time. He prescribes this expensive ben gay cream out like candy. Which I to was prescribed for a broken bone!! Come on now! I haven't even seen them yet due to the fact that the staff have been dragging their feet about getting my appointment set up. I injured my ankle over a month ago at work and mother nature has already basically healed it, with the exception of some tendinitis. I have to see them to sign a C-17 form to get back to work. They've had over a month to gather up all the information needed but they keep making excuses to delay my appointment. This is not my version of caring about the patient. read more

I would have to disagree with the negative review that was written. I, personally had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gilmore and his staff. Yes, it's true he busy and I didn't see him as much as his awesome nurse John (who is absolutely wonderful) I had a clavicle fracture and they took great care of me and welcomed my crazy toddler in their office too. Dr. Gilmore was always very caring and I am HIGHLY pleased with the outcome of my procedure. I healed up great and now have full mobility of my shoulder again. If I didn't move to North Carolina I would still be going back for check ups. Not to mention, Dr. Gilmore personally called me in his free time to check on me after my procedure. I don't think it's fair to speak negatively because doctors are BUSY. They don't go to medical school for that long to sit around. He's busy because he's a knowledgeable doctor.
