You can customize your order and pick out the carb and protein options such as noodles, a salad, chicken, shrimp, etc. FOOD -- During my January 2026 visit, I ordered the Garlic Butter Shrimp noodles bowl which came with sugar snap peas. This was filled with a buttery flavour and delicious. I would definitely order this again. In my previous visit, I ordered the Seasonal Sriracha Tahini bowl ($11.72 was the price back then) -- it consisted of egg white noodles with roasted chicken and vegetables. This was a protein filled dish that tasted good but the flavour wasn't as strong as the garlic butter shrimp noodles dish. The chicken wasn't seasoned well at all but the sauce (I forgot the type) helped to make the bowl taste good. I wouldn't mind ordering this again but I probably would choose something else just so that I can try something else on the menu. The restaurant has lots of seating available for dining-in. Both times I've been, I placed to-go orders to eat at home. During my January 2026 visit, I had just come from a hair appointment so I was super hungry and I ended up eating the garlic butter shrimp bowl in my car. That's how delicious it tasted. FYI -- The price of the takeout bowls is slightly high compared to the size of the bowl itself. That crispy, slightly charred shell dipped in consomé is the whole experience. it's the difference between averagely good and great. The white rice leaned bland on its own but the consomé saved it. The rice really needs seasoning like lime and cilantro. A friend at the table ordered the quesadillas for dinner and came away disappointed. Too small for an entree portion and light on filling. It was an $18 appetizer and not dinner.

Leaving was a bit challenging. There were several old biddies at the cash register selecting bakery items like kids in a candy store. Maybe they were there by design, as I ended up getting a raspberry coffee cake they had on the counter (which was very good). The place is cash only and I needed to make change to tip my waitress. By the time I got back to my table, there was someone already sitting there enjoying her coffee. Since there were only 2 waitresses, it wasn't hard to make sure my server got her just deserves for a job well done. The place was as crowded when I left at 1:00 as it was when I arrived. My total was $12.19 including tip for the Choose 2. I tried the 1/2 spud with chili and cheese and 1/2 grilled chicken club sandwich. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Service was Excellent! I took it to go so I can't really comment on the ambience but like I said it was totally empty except for me and the 2 girls behind the counter so if nothing else it was pretty quiet inside.
