Just close it. Seriously. Out of chicken roast beef and smoked turkey. Listen I don't want to hear anymore about supply chain issues or lack of man power. At this point it seems like an excuse to economize and just simply not employ a whole lot of people and get away with giving people crap food and crap service and that was the case here. Generally when I go into this area of the city I don't expect stellar service as it just seems like nobody cares. And I was right. After trying to order three different types of sandwiches finding out they were out of three different types of meat I settled with a cold turkey sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. She gave us our cups to fill our drinks up with and the soda fountain was legitimately covered in mold and disgusting. A peek up into the ice dispenser you can see pink mold. Want to talk to her manager and duty? Good luck there isn't one. The drink station was damaged rusted and falling apart as evidenced in the pictures I posted. Against my better judgment in the fact that I already paid $25 for two sandwiches and two drinks and a cup of soup led me to a half hour wait for my food. It seemed like they were very interested in taking care of the doordash people first and not the customers in the restaurant. I already knew this was going downhill and when my phone finally came up I asked where my soup was? She said you did not order soup cuz it's not on the receipt. I clearly did tell the person taking the order that I did want a cup of tomato soup but apparently she didn't enter it. So we just stood there staring at each other the right thing to do would have been to give the customer the cup of soup but I didn't want to go up and deal with the girl at the counter again so I went without. Overall conditions were poor tables were unbussed and unclean. My wife's salad was more Brown lettuce than fresh and overall was pretty gross she ended up throwing half of it out. I ate what I could have my sandwich but knowing the condition of the rest of the restaurant you really have to question the food handling and sanitary guidelines they probably don't follow. On February 24, I went to your South Euclid location on Cedar Road in Ohio to get a sandwich to go. When I walked in a few people were waiting on orders and no one was at the front register. A young woman arrived quickly and took my order. They were out of several items, so I ordered a sandwich and went to wait for it by the counter. This was at 7:54pm. While I was waiting, there was only one person working to prepare orders.. I saw six people working in the restaurant. Two young women floating around upfront and taking orders, but there was never more than one customer at a time ordering. There was one young man who was asked to help prepare food, who placed a sandwich in the over and walked away. I didn't see him the rest of my experience. He filled a fountain drink and disappeared around the corner of the dining room, leaving the lone young woman trying to prepare food by herself again. There was another young woman who was busting tables while wearing noise canceling phones. She mostly sat in the dining room playing on her phone, and could not hear when she was called on to help. There was a late 20-something man who was constantly walking around behind the counter chatting with all the previously mentioned workers, but never actually doing anything. He told me that the lone woman preparing food was working on my order what I first stood by the pick area, but he walked away from helping her. While waiting two other customers placed orders only to be told by the women preparing food that they were out if something they ordered and they would need to select something else or get a refund. The manager was called several times with no response, so the woman preparing food had to stop what she was doing to issue refunds. Twenty minutes into waiting for my single sandwich, the women preparing food finally started to call someone for help. The 20-something man and the manager showed up to the food prep area, but neither helped. The man put in gloves and continued to carry on a conversation about his favorite K-pop bands with the manager, who stood with her hands in her pockets not engaging at all. The man ended up being in the way of the woman preparing food and never actually helped. I receiving my food 28 minutes after placing my order. When I received my food, I asked if I could speak to the manager. She identified herself, but didn't move from the far end of the food prep area from behind the counter so I had to lean over the counter of the pick up area to speak to her. I asked if it is common for it to take over 25 minutes to receive an order of a single item. She stated they were under staffed and they wait times can be longer because of that. I recounted what I saw with several workers chatting and not actually working or just standing around while customers waited on food. I recounted how just the one woman was preparing food and while workers walked by and saw her needing help, no actually helped leaving customers with a very poor experience. The manager was apathetic at best. The 20-something man finally started engaging in food prep and was grumbling the whole time I was speaking with the manager. This experience has made me not want to return to this location again. It was a terrible way to run a business. The oversight and management are awful and the manager needs to be retrained. She isn't utilizing the workers to the best of their ability and she is leaving customers with bad experiences. read more

I had two orders for work today, one through catering and one regular for delivery. The catering order was a mess. Sandwiches not properly wrapped, none of them labeled. Some of the sandwiches on the order were not there and in their place were two pieces with bread, a piece of turkey and mayo. No plates or napkins included, even though the driver said they were in the box. The second order was not as bad. The sandwiches were fine but again, nothing was labeled so I had to open all of them and put them out on a tray so people could see what they were getting. Both orders were over 20 minutes late. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had issues with this location and after speaking to the catering person who said she would delete the tip and delivery fee but there was nothing else she could do, I will not be ordering from there again. read more

Our swim team had our meals ordered for catering a few days before hand (there are 19 of us). We got the food in our time window and the food was very good. I got the Chicken Chipotle Avocado Melt, very good sandwich. The meal came with a bag of salted potato chips and a very delicious chocolate chip cookie. The big problem with service was that only a couple meal boxes were labeled with our names. The rest of boxes weren't labeled at all, they didn't even write what kind of meal was inside the boxes. Even though they didn't have our names on the boxes we at least expected them to write was inside. read more

Interesting experience at this location. I met some friends for a quick meeting expecting that we'd grab treats. When I arrived to scout tables, several of them we dirty. It was as if no one had walked through the restaurant at any point since they'd opened to wipe down tables and spruce up. The bakery was lacking baked goods, go figure. This was 3pm on a Sunday so it was surprising that they would be running so low on essentials (cookies, pastries, etc) with no sign of anything being restocked. There were also no napkins and the air conditioner was on full blast. Uncomfortable atmosphere to say the least. Maybe I caught them on an off day, I would still give them another try. All the bad reviews about this Panera are accurate but I wanted to add that I don't understand why when you order a drink, the employees seem to ignore the drink order. I had to go get the manager to ask her if she could make my drink - this made me late for work. It seems that the Paneras' (including Warrensville location), seem to hire young, unprofessional, ignorant high school kids who don't care about anything or anyone. Real spirit of "I don't give a sh*t" at this Panera. I was called a sir, when I'm a woman with very large indicators of that is true. Then I made my order of a bagel and cream cheese and the clerk was distracted by the supervisor to check on something else, so she checked in the fridge and talked with the supervisor for 4 minutes, while I was waiting. Then the clerk forgot my cream cheese. When I got home, I saw the clerk did not cut my bagel. Simple order, simple failure. How I long for the old Panera in Shaker. Avoid this location. read more

I bought food from this location on 6/8/21. The meat they use for the turkey sandwiches are packaged and they only put one piece which made the sandwich barren. Also, they didn't have many cheeses to pick from and did not put the choice that I selected which was white cheddar only and they added some kind of orange cheese to it. I wish that I had went to Arby's or something and got a turkey sandwich with nicely shaved meat. Any deli would have been more appropriate; even a grocery store. I don't see how this place remains in business with their poorly and sparsely made sandwiches. Unfortunately, I bought a few more items. Not at all happy with my purchase. read more

I remain two stars with this review after coming in for several years. Today I ordered online and let the cashier know I had arrived. The cashier relayed that to the expo. There was no order so I waited. 5 minutes later I discovered it sitting getting cold in a remote location by a register that is not used. I asked the register girl why nobody told me the order was ready. I was net with a lackadaisical response. This is called complacency. Restaurant and mgmt not aligned with the labor. Well...it seems my review is consistent with 99% of the other folks' experiences. It's unfortunate the store nor corporate reads these reviews. If they did, they would see and fix the correction. Yes, my experience today was if I did not matter at all. When I complained to inquire about why my order was messed up, I was told by the manager, "what do you want me to do about it?" Pandemic or no, there is no excuse for not getting an order right. Ordering a frozen coffee resulted in some cold brew thrown over ice cubes. The toasted bagel? Thrown into the bag higgeldy-piggeldy with the other pastries. Breakfast wrap? Well, all the ingredients were there, and there was a wrap bread involved, but it's obvious no one trained the guy making the food how to wrap a wrap so that the flatbread is on the outside. I seriously think the egg was holding things together more than the bread. And lastly, not to pick on a crew that I know is trying their hardest under difficult circumstances, it was kinda gross that most of the crew pulled their masks down whenever they thought no one was looking, including while they were preparing food! So, props for keeping a friendly face during rough times, but management needs to get on the ball about better training their crew. read more

Hands down the worst Panera I have ever been to in my life. The employees are rude, they take forever to do anything, and they are plain disrespectful. I placed an order for a single bagel and cream cheese on the app. I arrive to pick it up and it's not on the pickup shelf. Ok, no big deal, I got setup my laptop and get situated. 30 minutes go by, still no bagel. I go up to an employee making food and ask and he tells me to go up front. I go up front, stand in line, after 6 minutes I get to the front and say I placed an order on the app and she tells me she hasn't made it yet and will get to it. Then proceeds to ring 3 people behind me out. I finally say forget it, call the corporate line to get a refund and am told they will have to direct me to the general manger of the franchisee. I had to give one star otherwise I couldn't write this review. Horrible service, terrible food. Ordered 1 bacon egg and cheese bagel and 1 steak, egg and cheese. I received 2 bacon egg and cheese bagel cheese sandwiches. That's what they called them. I called them horrible excuse for sandwiches and didn't receive the steak! Where's the cheese??!! As soon as they saw who they were serving, their attitudes towards us changed dramatically. Was it because I was with a uniformed police officer that they decided to act that way and screw up the order and burn the food, giving all bacon instead of steak? I guess we don't want to go there because I wouldn't think that would happen. It wouldn't be the first time though would it ? They knew who they were serving bc all their looks gave it away. I ordered online. When I got there my food wasn't on the shelf as the site said it would be. No one at the counter to ask although there were several employees in the back within eyesight. On their phones, talking & laughing. I actually yelled "excuse me" and one finally came forward to help. My food was actually behind the counter ready to go. This was my first visit to this location and I'll never be back. Ordered the margherita pizza and it was gross, threw it out after having almost one piece. Waste of money & my time. I just started going to the Panera in South Euclid. Ordered Rapid Pickup. 1st time went great.... 2nd time I had to ask where my order was (as it was not placed on the pick up shelf as stated). Third time, another young lady and I stood at the counter waiting for our order. Watched multiple workers just walking by and not even asking to help us. Some guy walked up to the counter and more than one person came to assist him. Really? Then the other young lady and I watched as another employee kept going behind the wall to lean over on the counter foe support because he was not feeling well. If your worker is sick, shouldn't you be sending them home instead of allowing to continue to interact with other customers??? Really....just ridiculous. Customer service used to be way better than this. And my order, was just sitting there behind the counter as none of the workers decided it was necessary to put it on the pick up shelf! 9 times out of 10, my online order is not complete or messed up. It is extremely frustrating when every time you come in, you have to complain. It just makes it so you don't want to come back. The food is typical Panera food -- delicious sandwiches and soup. My favorite sandwich is the Turkey Bacon Bravo on sourdough bread with chipotle mayo instead of the other sauce. They do deliver, but I am always afraid to get delivery, since they mess up my order almost every time. This location is the absolute worst. I have reached out on numerous occasions online about my experiences hoping I could talk to someone that would actually make a difference. Got a call back once after about 5 separate instances from a supposed "manager". She offered to replace one of my meals, but when I got there no one knew what I was talking about or barely even about the manager I referenced. Proceeding visits after I have still received extremely slow service, mobile orders not being ready for about ~30 minutes after the promise time. I'm not sure why I continue to give this location a chance, but this past experience with having to wait this long for a simple sandwhich was the last straw. I used to study all the time at Panera, and it was always a pleasant quiet place to work while enjoying my endless coffee. Not so at this location. Staff gave me the stink eye when I politely inquired where I pick up my coffee order. Then all of a sudden, they doubled the volume on the radio, to the point where it was really distracting and there was no way anyone could concentrate. I asked them politely if they could possibly return it to the old peaceful volume, and the guy behind the counter essentially scoffed and then did nothing. Extremely disappointed with the Cedar Road location. The cashier at the counter, Tatiana was wonderful and she did what the manager (who was very present did not). I ordered the pick two with a Madagascar vanilla latte. I received my food but no drink. I asked the girl that handed me my food about the drink and she said I had to get up front. My ticket time was 5:44pm. after a good 10 minute wait and watching other drinks being made (by the manager). I was finally able to ask Tatiana to check with the manager. It was now about another 5 minutes later when I was told they were unable to make the drink and I could get a regular iced coffee. I did not like it. Tatiana was gracious enough to offer me something else. So it is now 6:20pm and I'm still waiting. read more

This is a new shopping area on Cedar road with all of the usual favorite fast food places for people. I have been to Panera in the past and I have always liked their food. They have fresh ingredients (for the most part). Recepies are consistent throughout USA and staff is usually friendly. I always feel like they charge a little more for their vegetarian options than they should. But that is true for most restaurants. This particular one is very spacious. It has many good options for a date night, study night, go out with friends night or just take your kids to Panera night. Nothing extra-ordinary, delivers the consistency of Panera bread. read more

I have only ordered through Ubereats for this location which is normally fine but my most recent order was a disaster. They first delivered a completely different order ( grill cheese and chicken noodle soup) so I called to get the correct order ( salad and French onion soup) after an hour past I called again to check on my order which they said would be derived any moment, after 20 mins past I called again they said it was delivered but it clearly was not delivered to my house, after waiting another 20 mins my order finally arrived with a driver that had an attitude. I placed the order at 12:10 and got the correct order at 2:50. That will be the last time I order from there. read more

I like Panera's food and I typically have a good experience there but my visit tonight was terrible. I visited at 6pm and it wasn't very busy at all. I ordered chicken soup in a bread bowl. They were out of bread bowls. OK, disappointing but I ordered a cup of soup anyway. That's all I ordered...a cup of chicken soup. And then I waited...and waited...and waited. After 20 minutes, only one person ahead of me had gotten her food order and it was clear that I wasn't getting my food anytime soon. So I returned to the register to cancel my order and ask for my money back. The kid working the register went and got a manager. More waiting. He cancelled my order and returned my money, and never spoke to me the entire time. I was in that Panera for almost 30 minutes and left without getting any food. So, to recap: no bread bowls, 20+ minute wait for soup, another wait for my money back, an unpleasant manager. Overall, terrible experience. This Panera has always been OK for in-person dining, but I've had four major delivery fails in the past half a year. On three occasions, they have forgotten to put my son's bagel/cream cheese in the bag. The manager DOES NOT CARE when I call. She claims there is nothing they can do about it. Meanwhile my son is home with no lunch while his sisters have theirs. They constantly try to point the finger at Door Dash, although it's clearly a packing error. Corporate doesn't care either and says there is no possible way the store could deliver the missing bagel. I think if they had to pay for a delivery charge for a single bagel, this mistake might not keep happening. I've given them multiple chances at this point so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more
