My fiancé wanted to come for some Pho because she wasn't feeling well and pho does the trick. If you know, you know. I really wasn't in the mood for pho so I got some noodles and yellow curry with chicken and veggies. I was really disappointed, it didn't taste like anything. It had just a hint of curry flavor but other than that it tasted like nothing. Chicken wasn't seasoned or anything. My fiancé and oldest step daughter loved their pho and our youngest got pot stickers and said they were the best she ever had. Maybe next time I'll order pho. There is a reason this restaurant is rated so high, maybe today was just a bad day for noodles. Haha.

Nice and flat to get maximum flavor and no chance of gristle. I honestly don't know how to serve Thai noodles to go without it turning into a giant blob. The mystery remains. The sauce was good but not evenly distributed and not enough of it. So I had to flip the container over and eat from the bottom. This is definitely a two mealer which I appreciate in these times. I can definitely appreciate the effort it takes to make ramen, but it's not exactly a well-balanced, healthy dish, more like a hangover cure... With that being said! For me to give Lucky Ramen FIVE stars is a huge feat! My personal number 1 go-to is the Veggie Ramen w/kale noodles, spicy level 3. Dont knock it til you try it! The broth is the true definition of umami, it's savory, filled with enoki mushrooms, bok choy, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and a soft boiled egg. It's nothing short of filling! The kale noodles taste just like regular ramen noodles and to think that it has extra fiber, yes please. If the thought of a dish being vegetarian is a turn off for you, next best option is the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth is flavorful, rich, and they don't skimp on the meat and other ingredients either! Honestly, you cant go wrong with Lucky Cat. If you ever walk thru H-Mart and see a line for this restaurant, now you know why! :)

We did dessert as well! I had the chocolate cake and my husband had the pistachio panna cotta. Now for the bad....I didn't appreciate what one of the waiters said to our waiter, Lawson. First of all, Lawson was great!! But Lawson and the other waiter were bringing food out to another table. I heard the other waiter say to Lawson, "No shit. I know how to do my f-ing job." He did not abbreviate the F word either. He was out in the dining room when he said it. I would have said something right away but my husband asked me not to. For a co-worker to speak that way to another is unacceptable- especially out in the dining room for customers to hear. I wish someone would talk to him about it. Otherwise Mason has amazing food! We also had a younger Hispanic male who brought us more drinks and he was great as well! He was also not the one who made the comment to Lawson.

Our experience this Saturday morning was extremely disappointing…read more There was approximately a 15-minute wait, which I completely understand on a busy Saturday morning. However, once we were seated, the experience immediately became unpleasant. Almost immediately after we sat down, the waitress approached us and told us that outside drinks were not allowed. She took my mother's Starbucks coffee. I refused to give her mine and put it in my purse. We then ordered our food. The waitress never asked if we wanted anything to drink, and when I requested certain items with my meal, I was immediately told that those items were not available and that I could only order exactly what was listed on the menu. After placing our order, we waited and waited. Approximately 25 minutes later, we asked about our food. We were told it would be another 10 minutes because they had been very busy even before we arrived. I understand restaurants can become busy, and I am generally very patient about waiting. However, after already waiting 25 minutes with no food and then being told we would need to wait another 10 minutes, I felt that was unacceptable. We decided to leave. What was most disappointing was the overall attitude toward us. From the moment we sat down, we felt unwelcome rather than treated as customers who were simply trying to have breakfast. A busy restaurant is understandable. Poor communication, lack of hospitality, and making customers feel unwelcome are not. I hope management will take this experience seriously and address it with the staff.
