    Broccoli Cheddar Soup
    Greg G.

Panera is not my top choice, but my daughter absolutely loves their Broccoli soup. We stopped in for an early dinner with wife, daughter, and my daughter's friend. We used the handy kiosk to order our food, which was pretty simple. My daughter got her usual Broccoli Soup with a baguette. Her friend ordered a tomato basil BLT. My wife ordered a half tomato basil BLT with French onion soup. I ordered the ciabatta cheese steak sandwich and corn chowder. When our name was called we went to the window to pick up our dishes. As we got to the table we all sorted out our dishes. The kids started to eat and all of mine appeared to be there. My wife, however, found no bacon in her BLT. I checked the receipt to make sure we didn't mess up the order. My wife grabbed her plate and headed back up to the window. When she got to the window she told the lady behind the counter that her BLT was missing bacon. She replied, "oh yeah, we ran out of bacon". My wife asked them to make something different. The worker asked if she could just have one with no bacon. In the end, my wife ended up with a ham sandwich What a disappointment. We paid $47 after a $2 off reward. The food was ok. It has always reminded me of fancy hospital food. Can I say there is value here, no. It is just meh.

Oh if I could give negative stars I would at this point. Ordered a BLT for dinner, was given a sandwich with just bread, lettuce, and tomato. Went to the counter to ask where the bacon was and was told they are completely out, "can I just give you a sandwich without bacon?" No you cannot, a BLT without bacon is just lettuce and tomato. I swear the only reason I come here is because my daughter likes the soup. No manager in sight or I would have brought it to their attention

Garden Avo & Egg White Sandwich

Ordered the avo egg sandwich on an asiago bagel. They were out of the bagel that it was supposed to be on -- it was 9am on a Tuesday. I'm thinking they shortened the name to avo, because that's all you get on your sandwich. The picture says it all!

Lovely kouign amann with a luscious cream cheese filling and tart cherries. The gourmet chocolate and creme cookie was so much fun.

I am just not having any luck with this Panera outpost. And I should have paid heed to the very few cars in the parking lot. It still does not seem as if this location has figured out its operations. This time around, I went through drive-through for a quick breakfast. Unfortunately, even though I was picking up a pastry and a cookie (yes, a cookie for breakfast), it took a while to get my food and to pay for it. The wait was so long I thought I was at the wrong window but when I inquired, I was told there was only one. The brittany with cherries and cheese was delicious. A brittany is also known as a kouign amann, made from laminated dough (ex. croissant) and sanded with a thick layer of sugar. The ones at Panera contain creamy cheese filling (like those found in a cheese Danish) and are topped with tart cherries in a syrupy sauce. The cocoa and cream cookie is similar to a gourmet Oreo. Two crisp, chocolate-flavored biscuits with a layer of vanilla creme in between. It was small but wonderful. Service was dishearteningly slow. It'll probably be months before I visit again - unless they sell hot cross buns, that is.

In a corner of the front parking lot of the mall/businesspark at Laurel Park. Sub parking lot, busy drivethru. Inside are a row of order pads for customers. Around a corner are a few old fashioned registers for traditionalists. You can also order directly from the tables using the phone app and table number. Delivery to the table is via a tracking coaster. Breads, soups, sandwiches. All trendy and crafty. This is a brand new location, all clean and new and shiny.

I have always loved Panera Bread Restaurants for the wide selection of healthy menu items, as well as its Bagels, Pastries & Loyalty Program, etc. When going through the drive in double check your order for accuracy. And their prices are high but doable. Now that restaurants are open for in house dining, if you do have the time, dine indoors here, as the portions are larger than in the takeout menu.

One teeny tiny piece of PIRK in the CORNITAS pork flat bread sandwich!! Not worth the money at all!!

They do have a dining room, but my order didn't give me an option to mark it "for here," which added to the confusion. Despite the place not being busy, it took about 25 minutes to get my food. When it finally arrived, the grilled cheese was a miss. It was served on a flatbread and came out rock-hard--so tough it was barely edible--like it had been overcooked. The soup did arrive with it, but the overall meal didn't feel worth the wait. Customer service was another weak spot. There wasn't much guidance or engagement, which made the ordering process and the delay more frustrating. I had high hopes for Soup Dive, but this visit was disappointing. If you've got plenty of time for lunch, you might give it a try, but it's not a great option for a quick bite. I'd love to see improvements in the ordering flow, speed, and food quality--there's potential here, but it didn't come through on this visit.

After graduating my girlfriend [now wife] and I would make it a point to try and eat at Matsu-Chan when in the area, even after our first kiddo, and eventually our second. Last year before one of our trips to the area my wife let me know that they were under new management and when I looked at the new menu, I was saddened that all of my favorite items were no longer present, and it seemed that my beloved little slice of Japan was now "just" a ramen shop. While my wife loves and can handle ramen and the broth, I would typically get the different rice bowls, or other entrees because while I love me some good ramen it doesn't work out well for me with the hour or so trip to the area. We'd get some rolls, takoyaki, and other appetizers to share around the table before digging into our main entrees. With the increased prices, and fewer options, I will end up going to any of the multitude of places [Aji-ten is usually our #2] to get my kick. I'll miss the little shop and the times I've had, like perusing the manga while waiting for a table. I wish the old owners the best, and the new management as well, especially if it was a familial transfer, but Matsu-Chan is not for me anymore. My wife will eventually get up there and let me know how it is, but for now, I'm just happy that a little bento shop opened near my workplace run by two first gen transplants, so I can at least get my fix without the drive.
