Unbelievable Friday Night Dinner at The Draft House!…read more While visiting family in Janesville, my uncle took us out to the drafthouse... the entire experience was a 10/10. The vibe was relaxed, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was top-tier. We ordered the Friday Dinner Features, and every single component was executed flawlessly: * 28-Day Aged Filet Mignon: A tender 6 oz hand-cut USDA choice filet served over a rich mozzarella-infused sweet potato mash, smothered in a savory bourbon brown sugar-espresso demi-glace, accompanied by two perfectly crisp bacon-wrapped shrimp and citrus buttered broccolini. * Tuscan Faroe Island Salmon: Beautifully seared salmon served over a bed of linguine tossed with heirloom cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes in a decadent Tuscan Parmesan cream sauce, paired with citrus buttered broccolini. Between the exceptional dishes, great wine, and warm hospitality, perfect service, it was by far one of my favorite dining experiences in Wisconsin. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced kids meals that were more like adult meals. Their grilled cheese and chicken fingers included a side, a soda and a scoop of ice cream; so great place to take kids. My grandson gave the chicken fingers a 5 of 5; and he's a chicken fingers expert. My other grandson enjoyed his grilled cheese and my wife thought her hot honey chicken panini was ok. It was made with a bun instead of bread which was a little to dry. I ordered the monster burger without reading the description. I was stunned when I saw it was a burger, bacon, lettuce, onion and tomato between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches. It was delicious, but very filling, oof! Would definitely go back as I'd like to try some of their other sandwiches. Kids meals and monster burger 5. Chicken sandwich 3. Had to give it a 5 overall because we were so pleasantly surprised.
