Ordered online, requested my bagel be cut in half and buttered and also cream cheese. The lazy employee says they don't cut Togo orders . Yes I get home the bagel is cut and the butter isn't on the bagel so it's not melted. The cream cheese was in the side also. When we questioned the lazy worker he said we don't cut Togo orders. (Then why is it an opinion?) also that's not true it was cut and cold by time we got home . Over all I'll NEVER visit this location again. read more

I'm not sure what goes on at the Panera but their food is always horrible. They never have ingredients in stock and every sandwich I have ordered has been disgusting. Soggy bread and no ingredients. Half of my sandwich was just chicken and soggy bread. No peppers or avocado. We stopped coming to this place for awhile and decided to give them a second chance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I visit this location among others often. Panera is my guilty pleasure when it comes to food. I don't know how much longer I can say that though. I always get a French baguette for my side. Well, that "side" is a cheap, tough to eat very small piece of bread now. It is so SMALL. I could blame it on a one time issue but this is the only Panera that gives me small pieces of the baguette. Management must not care at this location? The bagels I swear are getting thinner and smaller. So before I say anything else about the establishment, the food and the drinks are on point and almost everything else is great and also this is somewhere I would go for a relaxing time with family once I'm served, but that's where the benefits end. Having been to this place a few times before because it's close to where I live, I tried to ignore the rather bad service I received almost every time I went. But after this particular incident, there's no going past it now. The service here is pretty bad and lacks any human element. I forgot to change my order and request a baguette instead of chips, so I asked nicely to have it changed since I forgot. My friend and I came here yesterday morning to sit down and talk and catch up. The last time I was at a Panera Bread was probably over 10 years ago. My friend ordered a soufflé and a muffin top while I opted for a egg white sandwich. We both ordered a Pepsi to drink. The ice machine was broken in the lobby and the cashier made a big deal how she had to go into the back to get our drinks. I'm sorry to inconvenience you.. I was handed a pager to know when my sandwich would be ready so I can go pick it up. I retrieved my sandwich and had no idea where to put my buzzing pager since nobody was around so I just left it on the counter. My sandwich was less than impressive. Had brown avocado and no flavor. I guess I just had higher hopes. Tables stayed dirty during our visit. Wasn't busy so we didn't feel rushed to finish our conversation and food A couple days ago I signed up for their rewards program and have been unable to log in. This was only my second time at this Panera and I used the drive through. The drive through is funky. The Panera is in the corner of the building which has for other stores in it, strip mall. In order to get to the actual speaker one has to drive all the way around to the back side. Then the window is about 40 feet from the speaker. My all time favorite place to get a nice warm meal on a chilly winter day. This time I decided to throw a curve ball and order something I haven't had in years. That just happened to be the ham sandwich! It was FANTASTIC! I decided to bring my granddaughter since we were shopping all day long and she loved it as well! The staff were incredible! Our food was done before I could count to twenty (granted English isn't my first language) but it was speedy quick! We were on a budget today, so we couldn't get a yummy dessert, but it'll be a must for our next visit. I almost forgot to mention, the ample supply of napkins they have. I've discovered in my older age I tend to drop my food more, luckily they never ran out of napkins. They also have wonderful 10x18" boxes and 3x10" bags to store all your yummy leftovers. Sadly, there is no to-go-bowls so I had to resort to the bag for my soup. Goodness me if I take a hard turn driving home. Overall, my granddaughter and I highly recommend this place! Ps. This Panera has the most ridiculous drive-thru set up. You literally have to circle around the entire strip, which is 6 businesses, just to get to the back where you can start to circle back up to the Panera where the menu and speaker is located. It's hands down the dumbest thing ever. 2 cats in front of me and it still took over 10 minutes just to get my large hazelnut coffee. I told the employee 2 Splenda/1 cream and she repeated back to me "what size coffee?? And 2 creams and 1 Splenda?" Ugh. I don't have high hopes for my correct order. They have patio seating outside. The inside is large with ample seating. 12 minutes later and I'm still waiting for my coffee. Sign up for the Coffee Subscription and get the 1st three months for Free! I keep canceling at the end of my promotion and resigning up just so I can keep drinking Free coffee, iced coffee and hot ice. I eat at a Panera probably 2-3 times a week for the past year - in Troy, Rochester Hills, and Shelby. There definitely seems to be a clear standard and this particular Panera falls short of that standard. I eat primarily salads, because I think Panera has some of the best salad recipes around. I almost always do rapid pickup, so I can see if i'm being skimped on or if its a truely a whole salad. This is the ONLY panera where you will see what is supposed to be a "whole salad" only filled 1/2 to 3/4 full. I don't pay $9-10 for a whole salad to be half full, otherwise I'd order a half salad. Sandwich wise we havent been wronged yet. Overall, if you're thinking about going to a panera, go to a different one. If you have to eat here, only get a sandwich and avoid the salads unless you're okay with getting gipped. read more

The manager was helping everyone bring their food to their table and couldn't apologize enough for my souffle not being available at lunch time I didn't know it was only a breakfast item. This is my second and LAST visit to this Panera location. Today, I ordered the chicken soup. As I walked back to find a clean booth, there wasn't one in the store. The floor was dirty and littered with food, napkins, wrappers, and straws (too mention a few things). When I received my soup, the broth was a grey color and the noodles were all broken up, like they had been stirred forever in the bottom of the pot. I asked the girl behind the counter, and she said that's the way it comes out. Now, I know that's not true, since I've had it many times at other Panera locations. If there is management at this store, they need to step up and hire some responsible teens and/or adults. I didn't see anyone over 20 working here, and all they were doing was fooling around. After coming here about 3 times in the past week to fill my Panera addiction .... I must say I can only give this location 3 stars. Why, you ask? It's the food and convenient location that keeps me coming back .... not the service. The employes here are either friendly or act like they dislike their job. There honestly isn't much in between. The place itself *looks* clean but the tables are often dusty and filled with trash from those who were seated prior. Like I mentioned before, I've been here about 3 times in a week and it's the same issue. Tables aren't clean, people are upset, and no workers seem to be around to tidy up the place. Naturally, this is a place that is frequently busy in the morning and evening hours, as they do sell a lot of delicious breakfast and dinner options. However, this is not an excuse for anything. If they're understaffed often, hiring some new bodies never hurt! On two occasions the employee didn't know how to work my My Panera, despite the fact I have used it before and had the hard handy. Instead of trying to find a helpful employee, she gave me attitude and threw the card back at me. As for the food I highly recommend the poppyseed salad with chicken and fruit. Very filling and healthy for you as well! The pick two deal is also filling enough for two meals. The sandwiches are fairly good as well. If you're not a onion or tomato fan, I suggest letting them know ahead of time so there's not a problem when your order is complete. I feel compelled to update my last review. While I feel like the staffing is still an issue they seem to have another problem. My co-worker and I used to consistently go to this location at least once a week if not more. What we have noticed is the lack of cleanliness. The table is always dirty and overall it just doesn't feel clean. When you pair that with the staffing issues it just no longer makes sense to go there. While their food is still very tasty my co-worker and I have found a few more options on our splurge day. But like the little optimists that we are we occasionally go back in hopes of a clean restaurant. After our last visit it will be awhile before we are back. I recommend when you go there to get some extra napkins and water so you are able to clean your table and chairs before you eat. read more

I am all about saving money and not being wasteful, however, this Panera went to far to the cheap side. They took away the sign to display the food price at the pick-up window. Thought that was a good idea but shocked when they told me lunch for 3 ladies was $26.00 After I pulled up to the window and the order was ready. Add insult to injury, they put the order in a bag that was too thin and packed too tight which resulted in a torn bag before I got in the house. Was the food ok....yes it was ok. But they put 3/4 of the tuna salad on half of the bread and a dab on the other half. Of course, I happened to eat the full half before I realized the shortage on the 2nd half but it did have lettuce which the 1st half didn't.
