Not the best panera bread we've been... average service .. guy didn't even ask if i wanted bread, apple or chips with the meal... the "hibiscus and pear drink" was soooo fermented that it was bubbly..... had to throw it away and get a lemonade instead. read more

Panera Bread - Chipotle chicken sandwich and a corn chowder... - Sandwiches Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

First time in my life I go to a bakery and be told "we cannot sell your any bread as we are expecting a busy lunchtime "! I get they don't want to be left with bread at the end of the day so have reduced how much they bake, but to go in to the store before 11am and be told they wouldn't sell me bread!!! Surely they know how busy a Saturday is and can plan accordingly or bake some more! read more

Yuck! 4 bowls with our meal & every.single.one was dirty. Unfortunately I didn't notice until after I ate my soup, but my salad went to waste. It smelled like burnt bread, the tables were dirty. The employee at the register didn't even speak when we came in & never asked what side we wanted. Before I didn't eat my salad I noticed they sliced GRAPE tomatoes. Saving money on dish soap AND tomatoes I see. Only you're not passing the savings onto customers. I'll go back to Jason's Deli. read more

You need to train your associates if there is a new pos system... Also, every little thing I did, the staff frustratingly yelled at me. I said thank you for my food and immediately the lady said "put the buzzer in the basket," in a super rude way. Also, i was trying to figure out where to put my plate and got yelled at for that. Instead of abrasively asking if i was a member, explain the covid process. I understand the staff is probably annoyed with having to say the same things over and over again, but i left there almost in tears because of how ruse the staff was. Like i was just trying to help/be polite. It's not too much to ask for that in return. Paying $16 for a meal should also include a happy helpful staff. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Restaurant was out of so many different things we had to change our order twice. My grilled cheese sandwich was constructed with the bread facing different directions. Not a big deal but speaks to lack of attention to detail and lack of basic culinary skills. The danish we purchased to take home was stale and the cheese was moldy. $55 for a danish, 2 drinks, one-you pick two, a tuna sandwich and side of mac & cheese was a total disappointment. The restaurant was dirty. When I asked for a container and a bag the guy didn't say a word just tossed it in the counter. Buy pass this Panera Bread! Not worth your time or money. read more

I used to really enjoy and look forward to eating here. Today I ordered a half a sandwich and soup. Sandwich was very good. The soup was fair, I've had better here. As I was getting halfway done with my soup, I looked into my bowl and noticed it was so dirty. needless to say I lost my appetite for finishing my lunch. I showed the remains of the soup and bowls to show the assistant manager. Her comment was "we need to do a better job cleaning the bowls they get stained from the French onion soup."I was able to take my fingernail and scrape off the stuck on food Residue. She apologized and offered me a cookie. 1/2 of sandwich and a cup of soup. $14.34 read more

A friend and I had a lousy experience at Panera at Parker and Arapahoe today. My friend had difficulty ordering at the kiosk. When she tried to switch to working with an order taker, the difficulties continued and, in exasperation, she decided not to order anything. I was able to order through the kiosk, but my choices for getting a receipt were email or receive none at all. Not wanting to use the time entering my email, I chose to forego a receipt. Based on the difference between the price of the sandwich and my final bill, I suspect a service charge was added to my bill, but I was not able to confirm that fact. My order took forever and when it was finally ready, Panera did not call the name I had asked to be used, but called out an abbreviation of the name on my credit card. To top it all off, the table was dirty. When I noted this to the server, she gave me a rag to clean it myself! I certainly will not eat again at this Panera or any other. read more

Awesome place to grab your quick lunch or breakfast.. even sweet tooth for dinner too. Large and clean area with freshly made food to delight your tummy. Awesome staff, great bagels... yes, I'm in love! read more

This Panera bread location has repeatedly messed up my delivery orders. I'll typically order the Greek salad with shredded chicken. The order I received today had chicken that looked pink and unappetizing, not to mention it was missing my coffee order. I ordered from this location the other day as well and a very small portion of chicken (when I ordered double meat) and was missing all of the pepperoncinis (when I ordered extra). Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE. There are plenty of other locations to go to. Skip this one. read more

This review is about service, not the food. I went in around 2:30pm, not a busy time. There was only one person in the process of buying something. There were three workers behind the counter chatting away, oblivious that I and another lady were waiting for service. Even when they saw us no one offered to help. The lady finally walked away. When the cashier finished with the customer, I asked her if anyone was working here. She didn't say a word. She got my roll, cashed me out and never said thank you, have a nice day - anything. It is clear there is no management taking place here. I have better things to do with my time and money than waste it on an inattentive establishment. Adios, Panera. read more

Terribly managed restaurant. Ordered delivery. Was an hour late. Food was disgusting and congealed and had clearly been sitting there for 2 hours. And worst of all, they forgot 1/2 our order! No idea how this place is still on business. They said they refunded our order! They better have or were disputing the charge. Had to make food for my entire family since they had two hours to make sure order was correct and still messed it up. Pitiful. read more

After giving them several more chances, I have to bump them down to one star (zero if I could) My experience has been worse and worse with every visit. Tonight, I paid for a full salad and a full sandwich, then got home to find I had a full salad...and half a sandwich (that was made wrong) and no pickle I'm done. I really can't advise ever going here. read more

Ok so I live near this Panera and honestly this is probably one of my go to places for a healthier option when I want to pick up breakfast or lunch. But that has slowly changed over the last couple weeks. The staff at this location are always nice and pleasant. The reason why I gave them 3 stars is for multiple reasons. My main complaint is their (Panera corporate) choice to discontinue certain items on their menu and the replacements are by far the worse option they could have replaced them with. One of my favorite salads was the asian chicken salad. Well that's gone! While I should stay away from the pastries I have my favorites, but the shortbread cookie, and toffee nut cookie. I sure hope you didn't like them, like I did because those are gone too!!! And again the replacements suck! And for some reason this location is ALWAYS out of soemthing! I thought they bake their pastries in house! How is it the beginning of the day and you don't have muffins?! I'm pretty sure those are popular items. This will probably be the last time I go here. It's just annoying at this point. #FirstWorldProblems #SorryNotSorry read more

I love this Panera...the broccoli cheddar soup is my favorite. Staff is friendly and always helpful.

This is a good Panera location. Quick service, has Apple Pay available, and plenty of seating. Can get very packed around lunchtime though because of how many offices are nearby. read more

This Panera is super nice in the summer especially since they have comfy outdoor seating. It's not generally too busy so it makes it my favorite Panera to frequent. Always had good experiences with the staff here. The new summer salads including the watermelon arugula are to die for! Also they've got a $0.99 frozen lemonade which is such a treat on these hot summer days. Don't forget to sign up for a Panera card to get some pretty nice rewards, you don't even have to have the card on you they'll look it up by phone number. read more

This is my go-to Panera. The food is always great and the menu is ever changing. The staff is friendly and the interior layout supports meeting people or going by yourself. Definitely get a Panera card, you get free pastry just for signing up. Quite often Panera will just throw you a $2 off coupon, or give you a free drink or pastry--that's the way rewards programs should be! You also get food on your birthdays and every other month or so they'll let you get free plain black coffee just by swiping your card. My only complaint is that their bakery is not as well stocked or elaborate as other Panera that I have been to-- the pastries seem to often be the same and the bagel/ bread selection doesn't sport anything unique. Maybe it's just me but I think I've seen better bakeries at other Paneras. read more

Panera is a fun fast casual eatery all over the country ! They are like a breakfast lunch business or casual spot to pick something up or dine in . With many cafe seats or tables the staff is fast and friendly and the bagel selection is amazing along with morning pastries ! Their salads are my favorite by far !!! The summer poppyseed fruit one is very good but an all around season salad of avocado chicken Cobb is good also ! There are sandwiches, soups, bowls and kids menus ! My only complaint is I wish they would get a gluten free bread ! read more

It's a Panera! It's like other Paneras. This particular one is busy and noisy - it's in a mall so I didn't expect otherwise. Nothing exceptional, nothing to rave about, nothing to rant about either. It's there, grab your sandwich or your soup, move on. read more

It's a Panera Bread and it also happens to be my Fiancé's favorite lunch spot. The food is somewhat healthy (at least there are healthy options) and I like that the calorie count is on the menu. The pastries are good if you come early when they are still fresh but the bread is probably the highlight of the products they have. Seriously great sourdough bread. It's no San Fran sourdough but for Colorado it is the best you can get. I also like that there are plenty of places to sit even during the rush and free wifi. A great place to meet with clients and friends alike! So why just 3 stars you ask? Well I have to say that I think that most Panera's are going a bit down in the serve and delivery categories. The last couple of times I have done my sandwich was pretty sloppy and the hot water for the tea had been out. The employees can be hit or miss. Sometimes they just seem like they would rather be anywhere but there. Overall I still like Panera and I will still go but that is the reason for the 3 stars. read more

My panini was great (half smokehouse turkey), but it was $5.99 ($6.48 after tax). Had I known the price, I'd have just gotten a full and brought half home for later. (I know a full panini is $7.29, but I wasn't expecting the half to be $6, minus a penny. I was thinking more along the lines of $4 or even $4.50.) That said, it was a tasty panini. Just WAAAAAAY too expensive. My birthday was this month, and Panera e-mailed me some time ago to tell me they were giving me my choice of a free bakery treat. The pecan roll looked nice, so I picked that. Brought it home (within 15 minutes) and started to eat it. I was VERY disappointed. The bread of the roll was the worst bakery roll I've ever had: dry, tasteless. It tasted like an over-two-weeks-old roll. I wouldn't eat that if you gave it to me. (Oh wait, they did give it to me.) I'm glad I didn't pay for it--that was $2.49 before tax. I'd have demanded a refund. Picked the pecans off the top, then tossed the rest in the trash after only two bites (spat the second bite into the trash too.) Taking off one star for the HORRIBLE pecan roll--this place would have been a three-star otherwise. read more

Typically I am a fan of Panera. This store however has a lot to work on. Its very busy with a lot of teenage kids. Those kids clearly don't care about quality and neither does the staff. My husband got a sandwich that looked like my 10 year old made it. Soggy and bland. The two kids that were working behind the counter behaved so unprofessionally. While we were placing our order the computer froze. Instead of explaining it to us the gal at the computer started laughing and joking about what she was supposed to do next. We moved over to the next register and the guy there was just as bad. Shouting out to the, I guess, manager about how he should ring in our order. For a semi-fast food restaurant, it was annoyingly slow. I know we will never return to this Panera. read more

I am a big fan of Panera Bread in general. This location has a few negatives, mainly the younger employees that don't appreciate the concept of customer service. The older workers are awesome. Unfortunately, I have encountered too many of the bad kind here. They have messed up my sides/options so many times, it's not funny anymore. The food is awesome. Some personal favorites: breakfast soufflés, power chicken/spinach salad and the Mediterranean sandwich. I will keep going back since I love the food and this is the closest location for me. read more

Here's my ORIGINAL REVIEW: I try to eat healthy, and it's hard at many places, but Panera Bread serves REAL steel cut oatmeal for breakfast. Unlike many competitors that just give you some mushy instant oatmeal product, this is real slow cooked steel cut oats. I like it with pecans and strawberries and a nice cup of their hazelnut coffee. UPDATE: I'm reducing my Rating from 4 to 3 - Ignore what I said about the "real slow cooked steel cut oats". I found out that the oats are precooked and they just open a bag and heat them in the microwave - Very disappointing! I do like that they put pecans and strawberries on the oatmeal and if you ask, they'll add extra nuts and or strawberries... It's still better than the "instant" oatmeal trash that they serve at other places! Don't like what I observed this AM. I arrived about 8AM on Sat morning and had to wait longer than necessary to have my order taken because one of the cashiers was too busy talking to her friend. Then when I went to get my coffee, the Hazelnut ran out, so I tried the Dark Roast and it was empty too. I tried to tell one if the girls at the counter that some of the coffee was empty and her response was that she wasn't "open" yet. When they finally did bring out fresh coffee, the tags in the front of the makers that are supposed to show when the coffee was brewed did not have the correct time on them. Come on folks, get your coffee system kinks worked out and get some staff that care about service! read more

Always busy, somewhat clean.. could be better. Food is alway consistent.. not amazing, not bad. I come here often to meet friends for coffee or lunch. There are plenty enough food options. Your typical chain. Wish they offered a little more in the way of GF, just one bagel or a dessert. If I get really lucky they have their flourless chocolate cookie, but that is like twice a year. Good spot to get a salad or grain bowl in a hurry and not break the bank. read more

I used to like Panera. This Panera location was not clean. There were multiple tables that had to be bussed. The table that I sat at was dirty. The food portions were small and not appetizing, especially for the price paid. I am not coming back to this location again. read more

Have always had great food here but went a couple of days ago and the woman at the register was getting pastries out of the case using her hands. Absolutely the best customer service, always so nice to me I hope almost everyday. Everyone I've met has been so friendly and efficient.

Went for a quick dinner with hubby the other night. No one was ahead of me in line so I skipped ordering from the kiosk. Not up to my usual expectations. read more

There's a reason why there are so many 1-star reviews below, the service at this location is terrible and it starts at the top. The general manager is loud, abrasive and has a superficial personality. He has zero tact! He scolds and lectures the customers every chance he gets! He clearly doesn't like his job and acts like the Panera Nazi - always taking out his frustrations on customers. It is the only Panera I have been to where you don't feel comfortable and relaxed while dining. It is unnerving hearing the general manager walk around constantly being rude to customers. It is shocking that upper management allows this guy to be so aggressive and disrespectful to the public! read more

I don't get the hype. Panerai bread is an over priced cafeteria. Food seems like what you would make at your house. Order and get your food at the counter. Self seating area with dirty tables. Menu is limited to Turkey sandwiches, soups, salads and breakfast stuff. My wife had a salad and a sandwich. She liked it except for the chicken in the sandwich was literally one big chunk that was on one side of the sandwich that maybe covered 1/3rd of the sandwich. I really wanted a picture, but my wife had already started picking it apart and spreading it across her sandwich. My kids food was $5 which didn't include a drink. Pretty sad. $17 for my wife and my 1 year old to eat without full service and just waters. read more

I won't give this place one star, because it's clean, but the service staff was grumpy, the food was overpriced, and my meal was not good. The wonton soup is awful. It's a bowl of fish sauce with a lot of bitter greens and some wontons with mystery filling. The $5 kids meals were tiny, cheap grilled cheese sandwiches with off brand yogurt tubes. They didn't even include a drink. I've had decent food here before, but if I can only rely on one or two menu items being good, it's not worth eating there. Certainly not at these prices! read more

This is the worst Panera I have ever had. The customer service is horrible and the food quality is disgusting honestly. It makes me never want to eat here again. My mom and I had a long day at work and didn't know what to eat for dinner. We both were craving some soup and a salad so we thought Panera would be a good choice, as we've never had a bad experience with this brand. Once we got to the restaurant it looked kind of sad and not full of life. There were two employees at the register area and didn't seem to be happy to be there. My mom is gluten free and so we asked one of the employees once we got to the register if they had any gluten free soups and there weren't very many options. At this point we should've just left to find somewhere else more accommodating. However, we ended up staying and my mom got the turkey chili (gluten free) with a seasonal greens salad, even though she really just wanted tomato soup. I ended up ordering a grilled cheese with chicken noodle soup. After we ordered, we went to grab a drink at the soda fountain, then went to find a table. The tables were basically all dirty and two or three of them had been left un-bussed from people who had been eating earlier. It wasn't a pleasant site honestly. My mom and I ended up finding a table, but it was dirty and we had to wipe it off ourselves. The food order was ready as I heard my name being called and I went to grab our food. As I sat it down on the table, my mom and I were amazed at how small the portions were and how poor they looked. We had spent $23 total on both meals and did not feel that either meal was worth what was spent. The seasonal green salad my mom had ordered was not appetizing and there was hardly any dressing. The turkey chili looked okay at least, in addition to my chicken noodle soup. But my grilled cheese might as well been thrown into the microwave and heated up because it definitely was not like anything I had ever seen before. I could've made a way better grilled cheese at my house at this point. We were both hungry though so we ended up eating what we had paid for. The food was not up to par and we both felt very unsatisfied leaving this restaurant. The folks sitting next to us were not content either which went to prove we weren't being dramatic. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go else where. Panera has really gone down hill since I have visited last, which was probably about a year or so ago. It's unfortunate because it had so much potential that is now lost. read more
