I'm really disappointed with my experience at Pandora. I went in with my girlfriend to buy her a promise ring, and at the time everything seemed great. The ring fit perfectly in the store, and we were excited about the purchase. However, the next morning when she tried to take it off, it felt too tight. Since it was only slightly snug, we planned to exchange it for a slightly larger size. That's when we were told it was a final sale. The associate helping us, Andrea, never clearly explained that the ring would be final sale. At checkout, she casually asked, "Do you want to wear it out?" -- but she never clarified that this meant the item could not be exchanged or resized afterward. That is not clear communication. If we had been directly told, "This item is final sale and cannot be exchanged," we absolutely would have double-checked sizing or reconsidered. On top of that, Andrea was very rude and dismissive when we came back to ask about resizing. Instead of trying to help or calmly explain options, the interaction felt cold and unprofessional. For something as meaningful as a promise ring, better communication and customer service should be expected. I love pandora and have always gotten great service at the stores in stonestown and serramonte. I needed to make an exchange and was in the San Mateo area so popped in to do that at the store. I had spoken to pandora customer service beforehand and they said I could just go into the store and they could process an exchange. Stephanie was the one who helped me and had attitude from the start. I explained the situation and she made no effort to look up my account information and said she had received no call about an exchange (which the customer service agent never mentioned). She was quite rude and unhelpful during the whole exchange and judging from these other reviews it seems like this has been an ongoing issue with this specific store. I purchased a ring here for $175 about two months ago, and I'm extremely disappointed with the quality. The ring is already chipping and showing significant signs of wear after such a short period of time (2 Months). When I visited this Pandora store to request a replacement or even a discount, I was told that the one-year warranty only covers the replacement of gems--not issues like tarnishing or chipping. Instead of offering me solutions to this problem, the lady who was helping me kept insisting that I should purchase another ring. I visited the store seeking assistance with the ring I had previously purchased--not to shop for a new one. Frankly, I find this policy unacceptable, especially given the price point of the ring. For nearly $200, I expected much better durability and customer service. If that can't be provided, then the policy should at least cover issues like tarnishing and chipping that occur within such a short period of time. A ring at this price should not be deteriorating within ONLY 2 months of normal use. If I wanted a gold ring that would tarnish and chip so quickly, I could have saved money by shopping elsewhere. This experience has left me very dissatisfied with both the product and the service I received. I will not be shopping at Pandora again, and I recommend others to consider their options before making a purchase here. I would rather drive an hour away than return to this store which is about 10 minutes from where I live. In fact, after my visit to this closer location, I went to their Serramonte location simply because of the service or lack thereof. The one star rating is a courtesy because I wish I could rate this store a 0. I walked into an EMPTY store alone while my husband and daughter were a short way behind getting some food to eat. I walked in was greeted promptly and asked if I needed any help and I replied "not yet thank you," so the 2 employees continued their conversation amongst themselves in the back of the store. All went downhill when God forbid I needed help from the people who worked there. Alice approached the counter and was rude from the start. I had just had surgery a few days ago and was using this as my daily outing, but I can't bend so I asked if she could put a tray on the counter for me to look more comfortably. Other stores allowed me to view 2 trays at once, but I guess Alice thought I was going to hobble away with 2 trays at my current pace which my husbands says my daughter's pet rock runs faster than me. She rudely replied "well what do you want to look at." I had said I wanted to look at all of the sale items, since they were having a great sale and I asked if I could see a few at once and I was coldly told no. So, I went with it and started with some charms found nothing I was looking for and moved on to bracelets all the while being glared at. I asked for a specific one and she asked if it was for me and it was so I told her my size, I tried it on but said that I was not going to take it. Shortly after, my daughter and husband arrived and I was ready to drop everything and leave the store, but we were looking for an item for a family member and it looked like they had them in stock. I cannot tell you how many times I kept having to tell her which sizes I needed and I kept being told things were final sale. Anything I asked for I received rudeness and questioning as if my choices were not good or I was burdening Alice. I do not like to throw this around, but it was as if she thought I was wasting her time and not going to purchase anything because of my appearance. I had to ask my husband if it was just me or if Alice was being extremely rude and typically my husband always tells me I am overreacting, but not this time. I wasn't even asked for my Pandora account, therefore I did not accrue points for this purchase for which I will be contacting corporate. I could not believe the audacity of this employee--Alice--to act with such rudeness. I was not asking for anything over the top or to get bowed down to. I was simply asking to view items during a time which NOBODY else was there. I received glares and every time I asked to view another item she'd glance over her shoulder and look at her coworker. In the past, someone came at me about a review of mine saying that I was being a child and needed to (profanity) grow up. Little do they know, I work in an industry that deals with customer service and life and death, so do not come at me for MY experience unless you know the whole picture. All I asked for was the bare minimum from an employee who was clearly only there to socialize and not put effort into what she is being paid to do. Twice I've been to this location ready to purchase and twice I've been experienced the most unfriendly customer service. First I needed to exchange a purchase. It was close to closing and she seemed uninterested in helping. I took my bracelet to the Pandora at Stanford Mall instead, where I had excellent customer care. The second visit to the Hillsdale Pandora was on my birthday, Oct. 16th, with my spouse and children. We wanted to purchase a mother/daughter charm. Two customer service attendants were present and neither made any effort to say hello or help. Another customer was in and being helped. A second employee was organizing merchandise, but went to the back. We stood waiting, and waiting for someone to say hello or ask if they could help. We felt unwelcome as the time passed. We finally walked out. No one offered to help or even say, "We'll be with you shortly." Twice, I came ready to make a purchase. I honestly don't feel welcome at this particular location. I've been to Pandoras at many locations and all the sales representatives are incredibly friendly and make an effort, even if they are with a customer. read more

I had the worst experience today with my younger sister trying to purchase a ring as a gift. When we walked in and all the associates were talking among themselves. One of them walked over and asked what she could help us with. My younger sister responded and said that she wanted to get an engravable ring as a gift. The woman who is helping us was very passive aggressive and immediately shut us down and said that she would not recommend getting the engravable ring as a gift because it is a final sale item once it's engraved. We understood that but my sister said she already knew the ring size and requested a size 10. The woman immediately responded and said that they only go up to a size 9, but in previous purchases we have purchased larger sizes than 9. I don't know if it's just this particular ring that we were looking at that only goes up to size 9 but her tone was not very pleasant. Then I asked to try on the size 9 because I have larger fingers and, again, she shut us down and said that a size 9 is not going to fit like a size 10. Which we knew, we were just trying to work around the fact that they didn't have the size that we were looking for and my sister was set on this gift for a while. Then she asked who the ring was for and my younger sister responded that it was for her boyfriend. The woman had said that the size 9 would not fit a man at all, and that she does not think that we should get the ring. I asked again to try on the size 9 of the ring and she brought me back the wrong ring to try on. I asked if I could try the one that we were thinking about purchasing and she told me to put on the one that she gave me because they're going to be the same size. Then I put it on and I still wanted to try the one that we were thinking about buying because it didn't look the same at all. She came back with the ring that we were looking at and there was this little plastic thing over the ring that kind of prevented me from properly putting it on. I asked if I could take the plastic thing off and she said "no it's to prevent any scratching of the ring" which was very strange to me because the other ring that I had tried on did not have the plastic thing. Anyway, we ended up leaving and did not go back. I felt like this experience was very uncomfortable and it felt like she was trying to push us away. Every idea we had she would shut down and was very condescending which made the experience probably the worst experience I've ever had at Pandora. I usually feel like Pandora is super accommodating and really patient with their customers because I know that it could be very hard to pick from the various options that they have. I'm writing this review because I had bought 3 rings and 1 of them I had used the money I got from my dad when he passed away last year in May.. I thought that the sizes I had fit okay but realized they didn't when they kept falling off my fingers. I had called prior to see if I can do an exchange and the girl I talked to said there would be no issue as long as I have my receipt or used my email. I then went 3 days later to do the exchange and MELISSA had let me know that she cannot exchange the ring that I purchased with the ONLY $100 I got from my dad, because the ring had "scratches." Mind you, the ring had been in the box the gave me the whole time because it didn't fit me! She exchanged the other 2 which I had been wearing when I walked into the store. It's very sad that MELISSA couldn't be more understanding and have empathy for my purchase and wanting to exchange all 3 rings for the correct size. She told us info on how rings fit on your finger, helped us with ring sizing, and had a lot of color and flare to her personality, she was great! First and foremost I want other customers to know that I usually like buying my pandora bracelets and charms at this store including my gifts for my daughters and friends too! They're usually very accommodating and nice/friendly to me. On October 2021 my daughter's Pandora heart charm broke and since I just bought it for her as Valentine gift February 2021 then it's still covered under "one year" warranty for Pandora to fix it or replace it. The manager said that particular heart charm is discontinued (which is BS) but then the sales associate said she can fix it at no charge. So I said Great! And since she's nice enough to know if you treat customers with respect and realistically Pandora charms and bracelets are not CHEAP, they'll buy more! And so I did. I told her I just got a new puppy and would like to buy 3 dog charms for my 3 daughters. Then today 12/21/2021 my Pandora bracelet's clasp broke. So I went back to the Hillsdale Pandora store thinking without a receipt that I can ask the manager to fix the broken clasp. Boy was I wrong! Sales associate and manager (not the same ones in October) both said, they don't have jeweler on site who can fix it; they no longer carry that same bracelet (which again is BS); and since I don't have a receipt, there's nothing they can do which I told them I buy all my charms and bracelets at Hillsdale Pandora store including my daughters' and friends' gifts! I told them ok I brought my oldest daughter's puppy charm gift to return for credit or exchange with a new bracelet; the sales lady said oh you bought this in Oct so the policy is that you only have 30 ds to return but after I told her "Im a loyal customer and Pandora advertises they have lifetime guarantee on their products so why are they treating me like I'm just looking for a freebie when my daughter didn't even open the box! So she said she will let me choose a new bracelet in xchange for the puppy charm and I paid the difference of $50. Moral of story: DO NOT BUY from this store. Quality of bracelets clasps and charms are no longer fixable and they're prices from $45-100 up plus tax each! You'd be better off buying real gold bracelets/charms read more

This review is for both Pandora Stonestown and Hillsdale. I, along with my sister and mom received a rings as a gift from Christmas. We loved the items but unfortunately they didn't fit, so we wanted to exchange them. My aunt who purchased them sent me the email confirmation receipt. Prior to my experience coming to Stonestown I had previously gone to the Hillsdale shopping mall to process the return. (Mind you this was in early jan/late feb) I went with my cousin, 12 years old since her mom bought the items for me along my mom and sister. The sales clerks who helped me (I think names were) Lisa and Tiffany. They were extremely rude and not helpful. Not only did I almost felt as if I was being looked up and down upon as if I was 15, they didn't once even say hello, ask to look at any items, talk about any promotion or ANY conversation. I wasn't wearing makeup and dressed in yoga pants so I felt they thought I was a child. They started to process the return and turns out it was the wrong email from Pandora. My aunt looked through her statement, and was able to give me the total amount, date it was purchased, last 4 on her card and her email. Tiffany, (maybe the manager?) explained since I did not have a receipt, which she was able to look up since I had the amount of the purchase along with my aunts email they were able to find the transaction told me that she would make an exception to return only one item out of the three. I explained that the size did not fit, and what was I supposed to do with the other two items...she continued by telling me they couldn't do anything, and I would have to keep the item. I just wanted to return. The items didn't fit so it's not like they were worn, damaged or anything. I ended up asking her to re-print the receipt since they were able to locate the transaction. I was super frustrated and upset I couldn't do a simple return WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE. After all of this, my cousin and I headed over to old navy where the sales clerks were super attentive and even my 12 year old cousin was shocked at how they communicated with us versus Pandora. She said wow cousin, we're just getting face masks and they are so nice here. My mom spent a lot at Pandora, they should go back to training. As someone who tries my best to look at every angle I explained they might of just had a bad day, but no one should experience this type of customer service. I went to Stonestown where I met Sarah and Karin. This time, my mom my sister tagged along and we were able to pick out a new item that fit us. Sarah and Karin we're so sweet, friendly and helpful. I recommend this location over Hillsdale 100 times over. Sarah, the store manager is the definition of professionalism and grace. I can't wait to go back for Mother's Day to get my mom a new charm. Thank you so much for making this a positive and easy experience, unlike Hillsdale!! I will never return to hillsdale and recommend everyone to go see Sarah and Karin instead! read more

I walked into Pandora and my dad was like "oh... here we go *cue eyeroll*" I got helped by a beautiful sweet lady, it was crazy in there due to Valentines day but she never stopped giving me her undivided attention. I've been very happy with my purchase, it's lasted me a couple months now and you can get free cleanings when you purchase a product from there. The amazing young employee, Jordan, came to help me and left me free to look at everything. I can't say I was able to see everything I had available because I was looking at a table with charms displays and another salesperson (Cassidee) opened the drawer and took out an entire box of charms that I was looking at, right in front me!! It was like I was invisible to her. I had no reaction and was extremely frustrated. But a friend I have as a sister likes to wear Pandora a lot and in the name of her friendship I didn't leave at that time! I went to look for the kind worker Jordan, but she was serving two other clients even so she paid attention to me! But I remained invisible to the other salesperson who simply ignored me. I had been waiting for almost half an hour and I still needed to visit other stores and I asked Jordan to call the other seller to help me as I had already chosen what to buy. I bought it, paid for it, thanked it even though I was badly assisted by this other salesperson and she was unable to say at least "you're welcome" or "have a good night". Nothing! she didn't say anything. I felt deeply discriminated against. And I never enter that store again. And I don't recommend it either! I want to thank the kind young Jordan for being so kind and professional. But the store needs some work to do with the customer service of the other employee. This is my worst Pandora experience ever! I walked into the store planning to get a bracelet for my sister, I was not exactly sure if I wanted the hard and or soft but she recommended soft for small wrists so I went with her suggestion. I didn't know the size that I wanted, probably the smallest, She asked for me to take off my bracelet to measure to right size for my sister, I let her take off my bracelet, after she looks at the bracelet she went ahead and offered me a clip because she said my bracelet will eventually if I don't have one but i had this bracelet for 3 years with no problems. After buying the bracelet usually they wrap it with a nice bow and everything, but she just gave me the white box after the transaction and I had to specifically asked to get it wrapped, after that she handed it to me and i was like "can i have a bag?" and she said "bags usually cost more" UMMM PANDORA Very disappointed since at the other stores that Ive been to they usually wrap something as simple as a $30 spacer but she didn't offer to wrap the bracelet or even offer me a bag. She had the receipt with date of purchase, but the manager insisted she could not return the item. 30 days to return the item, which is tomorrow. I made a purchase at this location on the 7th of this month. It was a couple hundred $ purchase and the staff at the store was helpful and took the time to help my boyfriend and I choose a perfect xmas gift for myself. Everything turned sour once the transaction took place. 1st the machine had an internet connection error that they said was voided and charged us once more. 2 days later the charge went through and I've been going back and forth with them for the past 20 days to get a refund of $450 double charge that they keep blaming on our banks and the company that processes their transactions for the lack of refunds to our accounts. It has gotten to the point that they try to hang up or ignore our calls when asking for an update. It was a split card transaction that I had disputed the charge with my bank and luckily they are crediting my account however my bf's charge of the last $98 is going to have to be credited from pandora. 20 days later this is still not resolved. Came here today with my friend to exchange rings we had bought a week before since the sizing was too large. Before coming in, we had read the guidelines for exchange/returns, and simply wanted to exchange BRAND NEW UNUSED rings for the right size. When we walked in, the lady that helped us out was rude right off the bat. Didn't catch her name, but she was short and had light brown/blondish hair. She should be glad I didn't catch her name or it would be posted all over this review, and all other social media sites. My friend explained to her that we wanted to exchange rings. Her response, "Ummm...okay..." like she had more important things to do. My friend showed her the receipt and gave her the ring. The lady asked if it has been worn. Clearly not. Why would she wear an oversized ring? She took it away for a few minutes and came back with another new ring. This lady then proceeded to hold both rings together and rudely explain to my friend that her ring was "darker" than the other and it showed signs that it's been worn. Okay, so why did you ask us in the first place when you weren't going to help us with the exchange anyways? She then proceeded to pick out the "flaws" in the ring and was basically accusing my friend of lying. Both rings looked exactly the same, so I don't see where she got that it was "darker" from use. I then asked her if she can take a look at my ring as well, since mine was a size too big too. She asked me if it had been worn. I told her no and she proceeded to examine the ring like her damn life depended on it. She then brought out another new ring and pointed out the flaws in mine. It's "darker," you can see "dents" on the side of the ring, compared to this one, "it shows signs of wear." The rings looked exactly the same. My friend and I did not like being accused of lying or being treated so rude. We had read the guidelines beforehand and were aware that you cannot exchange items if they have been worn. But to have this lady come up with every excuse to NOT exchange our rings was simply rude and uncalled for. Either learn some customer service or find another field of work, because clearly, you need to read up on your own company's policy. This used to be my go-to Pandora. Horrible customer service!!!! The lady that was helping me (I think her name starts with the letter M, she has an accent) was rude, impatient, annoyed and was NOT helpful at all. Although I noticed that when she was helping the customers before me she was the complete opposite! She even smiled at them! It seemed like she was purposely trying to give us a hard time because how is 2 transactions (the first transaction is 2 charms & 1 bracelet, the second transaction is 1 charm & 1 bracelet) both adding up to be more than $100 for the free leather bracelet promotion that they are doing hard to understand??? read more
