I was particularly astonished when the sales assistant informed me that the two rings next to each other virtually identical differed vastly in price, as one was a real sapphire and the other a synthetic sapphire. When I looked at the rings, they looked pretty much the same to me, and having no way of being able to distinguish which one was real, I decided not to buy it. The product may not be the best, but their service was very good. The sales assistant was professional and patient in explaining the differences. They also let me try on the rings at leisure and presented sizes to help me decide better.

Upon entering the shop area, I was taken aback by just how delicate and beautiful all of the items were. So cute, so precious. All of the glittering treasures distracted me for quite a while. I couldn't help but look at every item on display. I knew instantly that I would find what I had in mind. I was searching for something simple and classic yet not quite the norm. There was no question that I'd end up with an emerald (considering that my last name will soon be 'Green'), but just a matter of whether or not there would be a jeweler that had decent emerald rings with yellow gold bands rather than silver. More often than not, if a location did have rings that met those standards, the rings seemed somewhat cheap-looking. Stone too big, setting too strange, dull gold, etc. To top it off, I have large knuckles and rather bony fingers to consider, making ring sizing a major issue. Not only did Claudia give me an accurate ring sizing, she let me try on the ring that caught my eye, along with one of the plain gold wedding bands on display to mimic how my wedding band would fit beside it (we had ordered our wedding rings but they wouldn't arrive until later in the month). She gave me her honest opinions and was incredibly patient, explaining the processes of care plans and resizing within the business, as the ring only came in larger sizes and would have to be made from scratch to fit my finger. I was given a strikingly accurate wait time for when my specially made ring would arrive, and only just picked it up. It was late evening when we left the shop, and the setting sun provided a stunning warm light which made the emerald glow nicely. I shall definitely be returning for more jewelry in the future!

I've held off on writing a review…read moreas I wasn't sure if I was being pedantic about my piercing, but upon reflecting on my experience over the past few months I've changed my mind. I had my navel pierced around august 2025. An anatomy check wasn't done thoroughly, which made me slightly skeptical about focuses on profit rather than safety and education. The piercing itself was pierced shallow, as I can now only wear 8mm jewelry with even that having a considerable amount of the bar sticking out of my piercing. I asked for titanium as I have a nickel allergy, but upon further inspection of the jewelry post-piercing it was surgical steel, which contains nickel. This massively hindered my healing journey as I developed an infection within 2 months due to a prolonged immune response around the pierced area. I was also charged $120 for the total quote (jewelry & service fee, no aftercare included). You can buy surgical steel jewelry online for ~$10, so definitely felt ripped off here. As someone who was once rather uneducated on piercings but now a professional piercer, I felt as if my lack of knowledge was taken advantage off purely for profit, resulting in a medical event that could have been easily prevented have I'd been sufficiently educated on my piercing and not using deceptive practices.

They have such variety, such craftsmanship, and such creativity, it damn near boggles the mind. Whether you like chunky, or dainty, I'm pretty sure they have it all. Whether monotonous, or multi-coloured, solid or fragile, you'll find what you're looking for, if you're anything like me. Magnolia predominantly features silver jewelry (as the name might have suggested), and it can get quite pricey. Which is why it's a great place to go if you want to get a present for any female you know! The only problem; they're horribly stingy with the tiny little silicon earring-stoppers (is what I call the rubber backings of earrings so that they don't fall out). They charge $3 a pair! For the tiny little silicone things that probably cost 1 cent to make! It's a little ridonkulous. I mean, do you even know how easy those little suckers are to lose? You keep 'em on your desk for a second while you put your earring in... and if you happened to breathe in its general direction, it has now rolled off and entered your carpet, never to be found again. If I was made to spend $3 every time I lost some of these, I'd... like... be really broke. If you, unlike me, are able to keep possession of these earring-stoppers for more than 24 hours without losing them, you probably won't have a problem with Magnolia. And you should also probably lend me some earring-stoppers.
