A couple of rings and a charm for my Pandora bracelet. The charm is obviously not 'Pandora' but I tell you it's by far my favourite charm. It's a cube and it's blue with an awesome tiled pattern. It looks awesome on my bracelet and I'm pretty sure there's nothing like it in the real Pandora range. Plus it was about half the price you'd pay for an authentic charm! Go Goldmark!

I enjoyed the fact that I did not have to ask for the extras, it was simply offered, and there was no cost involved. This good service already inspired me to get another ring fixed from them too, something I wouldn't have done if it was just a normal purchase. Nikau is a shop that seems to really understand and connect with that culture. Everything inside is authentic and stunning! There's a huge variety of things from expensive but awesome pounamu (greenstone) necklaces to quirky little aprons, candles, house decor accessories and cheaper trinkets and jewelry. And this is what I think New Jewellery is. Now don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for Karen Walker and I'm a little bit decked out in rings from K Dub, Boh Runga and Meadowlark but let's be honest. Their stuff can get old. Some of it is overpriced and dangled on the bodies of every girl in Auckland. So if you're not into that scene and you want something beautiful that really is a bit unique I'm sure you will find it here! There's an insane amount of jewellery in here all categorized by the different designers. The prices vary a lot, which is good because amongst the great pricey pieces there are some awesome little finds. My most recent find was a tiny pair of skull earrings. Who needs Kdub skulls when you can have these. They are really gorgeous and only $20!! If you're walking up or down High Street you have to go in here!

I was talking to the shop owner today and he said they are going to start specializing in jewellery alone, probably because they have a knack for finding exquisite pieces. My mum once bought a huge garnet ring from here with two diamonds either side and it was only $135! They have truly beautiful rings, some of which I imagine would be perfect for an engagement. Antique jewellery has more character and history, I don't know why anyone would prefer to have a modern piece that all look alike! You can find yourself walking around the store for way too long faced with too many options to choose from. First world problems, I know, and in many ways less is more. In saying that though, it's the perfect place to go for a present for someone who has everything as there is so much stuff to choose from. It's situated in the Albany Westfield Mall and there's an entrance right buy the store. This means you can park pretty much outside and save yourself running all over the mall. You just need to make sure you drive over to the Cinema side of the mall and enter from there. It's a great place to go if you need a present, something to cheer you up or an hour to kill while window shopping.
