And just when you think you have reached the end of the shop, a small right turn comes out of nowhere and takes you into yet another room filled with antique goods. I got two sewing patterns for $2 apiece (and they weren't even that great), and other op shops are selling them for around 50 cents each. We also grabbed a couple of spanners for $2 each, and I got some zips and piping for another $2. There is a large section of stuff that isn't secondhand and is brand new, and is extremely expensive. I saw a set of double bed sheets with foxes on them for $214. I know foxes are "in" right now, but seriously. Obviously very much taking advantage of the whole "vintage vibe" that people are loving right now, and good on them I guess, but I was looking for genuinely old, unfashionable secondhand stuff, and of that there just wasn't that much, sadly.

Prices are not too pricey, so won't break the bank. If you love exploring antique stores give this a try you might find a painting that inspires you, or a vintage lounge suite to redecorate with? Inside you will find just about everything excluding clothes and jewellery. It does ever so slightly feel like the dumping grounds for assets of an estate. But you will find something that tickles for fancy at an affordable price, not necessarily cheap but better than most "Antique Stores". They also have an extensive library of old vinyls and books. My absolute favourite products of theirs is their hanging light bulbs. They have the most amazing filament and look casually chic. You'll pretty much find them in all the top cafes and bars in town. They also have a coffee machine there and donuts from Little and Friday on the odd occasion. Such a good idea to eat and sip coffee while you shop! I happened to come across it quite by accident while I was looking for something else in the area and I'm so glad I did. It's a really quirky little shop that has some amazing furniture and homewares in there. I've been slowly but surely trying to deck out my house The staff are super friendly and can help you out and advise you but leave you free to browse the colourful and creative products alone if you prefer. Jewellery, ornaments, furniture and art. They had this fantastic photograph of a Pukeko on display it was HUGE at least 2m x 2m. The guy working in there was really friendly and chatty and I was sure I had seen him somewhere before...maybe on tv? My favourite item had to be their neon pink deer head! Such an awesome modern take on a classic, tradition wall hanging I would die if I got to have it in my room, so cool.
