I've noticed some people who are not happy with the buffet selection, although I'm perfectly fine with it for a few reasons. 1. The food has always been much hotter and fresher than any other dedicated buffet. 2. It's so much less expensive. You pay about $5-6 here, where other buffets charge $7.99, plus more on weekeends. That being said, I like them better for the fresh cooked food than the buffet. One meal inside gets you a lot, and can usually be shared between two people. The takeout is also excellent, and very generous portions. I listed some of my favorites above, but here are a few more. * Sesame Shrimp * Kung Pao chicken.

After four plates of sushi, we had to explain to him why singing the 80s hit "I think Im turning Japanese, I think Im turning Japanese, I really think so" to the Chinese waitress was questionably inappropriate. But the staff was great. The buffet area was really clean with the one exception of the seafood salad being errantly stationed next to (and therefore some of it was actually in) the chocolate pudding - some things just don't mix well.

Seemed odd because we hadn't had real heavy rains that would cause that. Come to find out it was a lie being peddled because the Health department had shut them down to rodent infestation and scoring less than 60 on their health score. This doesn't surprise me seeing how dirty the eating area, tables, buffet and plates.... pretty much everywhere inside is disgusting. I cannot imagine how filthy the kitchen area must of been. And it would definitely explain how I hadn't been sick for well over a decade and I started eating there recently and shortly after I got the sickest I've ever been. It's quite unfortunate too because I like Chinese buffets but now I'll have to drive to Anniston if I want a good buffet. I'd definitely steer clear of this place, unless you dont mind getting sick, eating old food in unsanitary conditions.

This review is NOT about the food. Food is EXCELLENT. We…read moreused to absolutely love Toke Sushi and Hibachi. The food has always been incredible -- fresh sushi, delicious hibachi, huge portions, and we almost always leave with enough leftovers for another meal at home. We even met the sushi chef during our last visit, and he was so kind and genuinely grateful for our business. We told him how much we brag about his talent and how many friends we've recommended this restaurant to. Unfortunately, one employee has completely ruined the experience for us. Every single time we've visited, we've ended up with the same older waitress with black hair who is consistently aggressive, rude, and condescending. She always seems irritated that customers are there at all. Today was the final straw. We purposely ordered takeout hoping to avoid another uncomfortable interaction with her, but we still had to deal with her anyway. When we got to our car, we realized one of our sushi rolls was missing, so we returned to either get the missing item or a refund. Instead of simply checking the order, she immediately became defensive and insisted we were wrong. She aggressively tore through all of our takeout containers searching for the missing roll, and when she finally realized the restaurant had actually forgotten it, there was still no apology -- just more attitude and rudeness. To make matters worse, after she dug through all of the containers, our food ended up spilled throughout the plastic takeout bag. It's really disappointing because the food itself and the sushi chef deserve praise, but customer service matters too. Sadly, this experience was enough for us to decide we won't be coming back. We'd rather make the hour drive to Konomi in Trussville than continue being treated this way.
