Portion size is very large and the price was unreal. Quality was off. The definition of average, cheap Chinese food. A bit bland. When I got to the restaurant, the exterior is a bit questionable and the inside has a small scent of mold. Again, the staff was super nice and I appreciated that but I will not be coming back again. If you want to feed 4 people for $25 bucks total, this is the spot! But keep expectations realistic.

We ordered the roast pork fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and General Tso's for take-out. Everything was hot and fresh; our favorite was the lo mein! The food was not oily as other Chinese take-out restaurants, and there were very generous portions for the price. The service here is also great. I have never encountered such friendly and kind people at a take-out restaurant. The closest would be at China Chef in Richboro, PA. If you're ever craving Chinese food around Pennsauken, definitely check Fu Hin out!

The most American thing on the menu is the fried chicken wings and it's AWFUL! The sauce for the shrimp and vegetables is bland. The shrimp is over cooked and the steamed white rice is so dry, we're talking BASIC food and I'm Asian, it was so dry it's like day old rice it should be thrown out. Why did these 5 Star false reviews lead me to this place. SMH. 1 extra star for the nice staff.

So I ordered the food and it was pick up only but they had everything I was looking to order and it had a few good reviews so I ordered. So when I got home I noticed the portions were very small and the food was at best average so I wasn't very happy and wouldn't go to this place again.

Happy Garden seems like an oddball place. Cash only and no delivery - things which have been…read morementioned by others - but also in general. So, this is weird: do you know how almost every Americanized Chinese restaurant has scallops in at least one of the "Chef's Specialties" dishes, but not generally available with the shrimp (and less frequently, squid)? This place does. I'm new to the area, and maybe that's a regional thing, but I'm unaccustomed to seeing it. Also bizarre: the Shrimp Toast is guaranteed to be 100% toast free. How is such magic possible? By seemingly mixing breadcrumbs into the shrimp paste mixture, rolling it into a ball, and deep frying it like a hush puppy. It tastes great, but it's not what it claims to be. I ordered the above with egg drop/wonton mixed soup, which was delicious, and beef with Chinese vegetables, which was not. There simply wasn't very much flavor, and the use of canned sliced mushrooms (also unusual to me) really detracted from this staple dish. I didn't like them when my mother used them on her gross meatloaf, and it turns out that 30 years later, I still find them disgusting. But, when all is said and done, I would go back for the mere convenience of the location and to try a few other other things. The "Chef's Specialties" section of the menu is somewhat limited, so it shouldn't take many visits to complete the picture, and when I have an opportunity to try the fried dumplings, I'll have a better idea about the restaurant. For now, I would call it average. I'm always tentative about new Chinese spots, and this one didn't scare me off.

I accidentally ordered from this restaurant and had to drive a bit out of the way to get it after thankfully catching my mistake and deciding to get it anyways. It's a disappointment because the food is not as good as the other. The service was meh. As you know, these are pretty short encounters so there's not much service necessary. Not a lot of time to leave a bad impression. But they were actually notably slow, and when I pointed out the naming error they kind of gaslit me. Once I said I was picking up an order and wanted to make sure I was in the right place, they magically remembered that, "oh yes! China king is our old name." And they retrieved my order. They asked me what I wanted for sauces then calculated a total to charge me for them (after I had already paid). Just another pain because the other restaurant I meant to order from never charges me for them, so I opted not to get them. As I said, the food was fine. Not as good as what I actually wanted and I won't be ordering here again. I flagged the incorrect name with Apple Maps so hopefully this doesn't happen to me again lol. I wouldn't eat here a second time.
