Ordered chinese food last night and it really hit the spot! Their general tsao's was not too bready at all and their white rice was super fluffy. The scallion pancakes were warm, flakey, slightly greasy, but still ohh soo delicious. What sets them apart from many other chinese takeout spots I've frequented is their customer service. They're so darn friendly, efficient and patient on the phone. I never feel like I'm being rushed off to get to the next call and they always deliver to me, even when within 10 minutes of closing. I really don't understand all the stellar reviews for this place. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp smell was so strong that I had to immediately throw the whole thing the trash. The shrimp was definitely not fresh...AT ALL! My husband ordered boneless spare ribs. They were burnt shriveled up pieces of flavorless bricks. I was so sad because I had such high expectations for this establishment. But I was totally disappointed. It was one of those days when I REALLY wanted Chinese food and it all fell flat. So to fix my craving, I went to The Orient in Bethpage the next day. Silly me...I should have went there to begin with. Lesson learned. read more

Loved the beef and broccoli. The beef was super tender and the sauce was just as it should be. The pork fried rice was good too, as was the egg roll. The two chicken dishes - sesame and bourbon chicken weren't as good. The bourbon chicken was just dry lacking sauce and just dry. The sesame chicken had good sauce but the chicken was tough and kind of woody in texture. Will come back for the beef and to try other things. Been eating here for years...the food is still good, however customer service is gone. I noticed his rudeness to a woman who requested duck sauce. After my food was prepared, it was handed to me. I had to ask for a fork, duck sauce and napkins which seemed to have annoyed the young man at the counter. After he gave me the items requested. He slammed the door to the chute which they pass the food through due to Covid-19. I normally have my food delivered 3x a week. You just have to slam it one time for me. I'm not sure if any Chinese fast food joint can be said to have truly "inspired" food but the food at Panda is not only uninspiring, but it's downright bird watching boring. If ordering exactly what you see on the paper is your idea of getting what you paid for, then this is the place for you. The problem is, the food tastes just slightly better than the paper you originally ordered it from as well. I don't expect much from Chinese food take out but when my low expectations are met, I'd surmise that's probably not a good thing. No one gets Chinese take out for the service so the typical Asian counter service is what it is. They always seem more interested in getting your money then being actually friendly. When there's a White Castle a few miles down on Sunrise Highway it's not possible to say Panda is the worst option within a five mile radius but thankfully for employed pot heads, 7-11 and their very inspired Jamaican beef patties are only two blocks away. read more

I thought Panda was pretty good. It's hard to get really good Chinese food at a reasonable price that also has delivery. Delivery time was 20-30 minutes and the food was hot. Boneless BBQ spareribs were good, the won tons in the won ton soup were fresh and not too doughy. The garlic chicken had a bit too much broccoli, but it was hot and tasted good; the spring rolls were good and the (4) chicken wings and fries were ok. Overall, not bad. read more
