Chicken and garlic sauce
Tara P.

Was always my favorite but I moved away, got to go for a meal while in the area this weekend and it was just as i remembered! Great food, great service! The chicken and garlic sauce is so flavorful and fresh tasting! Yummmm! Loved seeing some of my favorite staff!

Crab Rangoon, cream cheese and fried shell. No taste of crab. Ordered 4 pcs. of sushi. She asked " with rice or without"? With rice please. It came sashimi, no rice. I ordered something called, "Lamb two ways", said spicy, nope. Also it was to have a lite sauce on one side, and a heavy sauce on the other. Came out in one pile, I sent it back. It came in two this time, so I ate one entire side first, then the other, except for the scallions on one side, couldn't tell the difference. Lamb/Beef, that was another miss, no lamb flavor at all. Just an ordinary looking dining room, nothing fancy. I did get a discount. You gotta love the fortune I got after this disaster!

Cold noodles with Sesame sauce (yum!)

Feels a bit more authentic as a Chinese restaurant than Panasian, but a bit more run-down building. I think we got a better selection of Szechuan shredded beef, tofu with bean sprouts, cold noodle with sesame sauce and wonton soup. Overall, lucky to have this place in Brattleboro and obviously they have to cater to the demographic of folks here so I won't be too hard. Good - Sesame cold noodles was great! Shredded beef was also quite nice Hard Pass - Wonton soup - pretty horrible wonton and the soup wasn't hot. Ok - Tofu with bean sprouts - there was not enough tofu in the dish and it was extremely salty yet tasteless

After a long drive to Vermont, We decided to stop for some sushi. I found this place in the area where we are staying. We came from CT, and it's hard to find Chinese/Japanese restaurants with indoor seating. We got there around 7pm. It was quite, a few people eating. Our waiter was kind and helpful. We ordered some sushi , appetizer & a drink. We noticed that the Chinese food was the most popular food in the restaurant. Our sushi & appetizer took around 20 minutes to be served. Our waiter let us know about the wait time for our food. Overall good sushi and good portions for the price. Service was good

I like their sushi. The portions of fish are a nice size compared to some other places nearby. The staff are friendly and attentive.

An unexpected pleasure for lunch today. Stopped in for the first time while visiting from out of…read morestate. My guess is that the chef trained in NY. The first clue was the Cold Sesame Noodles appetizer that we tried. A generous portion and as close as I have had, to Chinatown taste. The hot and sour soup was served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be heated, but once it was hot it was as good a soup as I have had. Egg rolls were crispy and crunchy and we all enjoyed them but the Duck Sauce was very watery. That could be improved. We had shrimp with lobster sauce which couldn't have been any better. Wonderful flavor and huge fresh shrimp. The boneless ribs were the star of the show. Big meaty chunks of pork rib piled high on the plate. Every table around us ordered them. Sweet and charred crispy, they are a must have! The fried rice was NY style with bits of pork and a hint of vegetables mixed in. I would have given Joy Wah 5 stars for the food but our waiter was just a little bit below par. We ordered several dishes to share but never were offered plates to share with. When we asked for to go boxes he bought us boxes too small for amounts of food on our plates. And he had his face in his phone the entire time we were there. If he paid more attention this would have been a 5 star review.
