3/24/22 Wow, what a big difference since the last time I visited a Panda Express. Quality/Quantity - Both meals (plate size) were good, but it would have been nicer if they had more quantity. The previous plates we bought were filled to the rim with food. 1/2 chow mein 1/2 fried rice, orange chicken and broccoli beef Chow mein with honey sesame chicken and Beijing beef Atmosphere - Easy parking. Easy in and out of freeway. Indoor and outdoor seating. Drive thru. Catering. Current promotion with Disney's movie Turning Red; see picture. Service - 6 stars. The assistant manager, Jenny, gave excellent service. I think she thought I was a mystery shopper, as I was taking so many pictures. She quickly ran throughout the store to make sure it was perfect prior to all my photos, LOL. Later she approached me outside asking if I worked for corporate; I tried to make her at ease by telling her no, I just like to take pictures. Maybe I should have told her I was doing a Yelp review...? Price - $19.27; normally I would say this is pricey for fast casual, but with today's inflation, it is probably reasonable. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1983. 2011 = first of many international locations in Mexico City. Currently 2200+ locations. And I believe you are still privately owned!

Orange Chicken and Side Chow Mein

Seems like the level of quality is just going downhill at this location. Every time I visit the food isn't always fresh other than Orange Chicken. The chow mein looks undercooked, outdated, and they just opened at 9 AM and I went in at 10 AM for my Chow Mein to look like it's been sitting out since they started prepping before 9 AM. I'm so disappointed because I used to love Panda Express but this location has repeatedly reminded me why I stopped eating Panda Express and supporting the local Chinese Restaurants. To the General Manager of this location please fix it as this isn't the way how Panda Express operates but it seems to me that this is the only location to have low quality food. Just a waste of time and money.

Half white rice half chow mein with eggplant tofu

Wow! This place is the best tasting Panda I've had! They are open for indoor dining and some outdoor patio seating is also available. I got a bowl with half rice, half chow mein, and an entrée of eggplant tofu. Usually eggplant is mushy or left hard, but this was cooked to perfection. The tofu was firm and evenly fried. In my bag, I received utensils, a couple napkins, 2 random packets of sauce (I got a soy sauce and chili sauce. My coworkers got 2 sweet and sour sauce). I think they're just being conservative; when I asked the worker, she said I had already gotten 2. I don't know about others but I like a lot of sauce on my food and the ability to choose which one. Otherwise, yum, delicious!

2 entree 1 side Build Your Own Plate - 2 Half Sides (for a toddler?)

Wtf is this supposed to feed ? A toddler? , this is the smallest portion from Panda Express I have ever received. I'm very disappointed that I even wasted my money on this .

I don't know 'bout you ... but every once in a while I just get a craving for the famous Panda Express, orange chicken! Cool thing 'bout this location is that it has a drive-thru (yay!) so no need to get out the car - just drive through pick up that orange chicken and move on. Well, the sad thing about different locations is that you don't always get the same quality of product. The orange chicken here is on the slightly soggy side, so mind you if won't be perfect every time. I decided to try the (new!) Black Angus Steak - and the verdict is in .. I would NOT recommend this! The steak was disgusting, with its texture looking like, straight up cat food - yuck! The chow mein was flavorless and I think the only good thing that came about from my Combination Plate was the fried rice. Why? Because it was freshly made. Let's just say, I'm not rushing back to this location anytime soon.

Didn't know Panda has a drive-.thru
Tinah Y.

Nothing says social distancing better than a drive-thru. This is the first drive-thru that I have seen for a Panda Express. Quick, convenient, and no mask required for the drive-thru! I saw a sign that said that you can also order online and pickup. Let me make one thing clear - Panda Express is not authentic Chinese food, but they do have good tasty food for a decent price. Kids love it and you can pick up a nice kid's meal for under $7. My favorite is their chow mien and orange flavor chicken.

I was searching for some chicken

Damn it! I should've just went and got some pizza... smh. Very little chicken and a plate of veggies. Double kung pao chicken and white rice. I ate what I could but I can't do it anymore I know I'll be hungry again in about 2 hours. I gave the 2 stars because.. hell idk I mean the soda was good

As soon as you open the lid it smells burnt too
Aryanna S.

The worker was very rude! We misspoke what rice we wanted and corrected it before pulling forward and they would not give us white rice! The fried rice they gave us was burnt tasting too should have just took my business elsewhere will not be back

I just noticed that the portions they're serving are ridiculous the half that they were. My son kids meal is literally 4 bites of chaomein and rice and little bit of orange chicken and as always the chaomein full of cabbage and almost no noodles

Now this is what a good neighborhood Chinese joint is supposed to be! They're not tryna hit you…read moreover the head with the prices, they're tryna put you to sleep with their portions. Man, what a nice little find. After a very long Friday, I needed a pick me up- some guilty pleasure vibes ya know? The uncle at the front (I'm assuming the owner) is pleasant to talk to and seems to take pride in what he does. That's hard to come across nowadays. Anyway, orange chicken is fire. Indecisive? Fried rice and noodles 50/50 option with the dinner special is the combo you need. Salt and pepper wings and the Rangoon didn't really hit hit, which is a shame because I feel like those are low-hanging fruit. Most decent places will only check off 2 of 3 between price, portion, and taste. And if your local Chinese spot ain't even hitting that, it's time you find another one. Although the apps could use a lil more TLC in the R&D department, This place gets close to giving you all 3 of the above.

So I'm planning my next trip here this week so I can enjoy the amazing cucumber salad (so fresh, crunchy and garlicky), their pepper beef clay pot (sizzling rice at the bottom for the win and big portions), their spicy tofu (umm what?!? So crispy) and their awesome skewers (the pork belly is my favorite). The space is small, so if you're planning on dining in during peak times, you may want a back up or take it to go as they only have a handful of tables inside and a few tables outside. There is parking but it is shared with other business so can get busy. The service is wonderful! The hostess/waitress was very friendly and everything came out relatively quick. The clay pot does take some time (they need to cook up the rice to get that awesome crunchy bottom) so place your order for that first, and then look at the appetizers and skewers as they come out fast. This was my first trip but will not be my last to Da Fei Ge!

It was nice enough that I tried to come here on a weekend night and it was packed full of families which is great but probably where I should have thought about it more. We went up to the counter and were told to wait a few minutes. I saw that a large table was clearing up so I didn't mind waiting. During this time a group came up behind us and I thought they were after us. One of the server waved in our general direction after cleaning up and splitting the table, so I thought they were gesturing to us since it has already been 10 minutes of waiting. Wrong, it was to the group behind us. Maybe it was communicated in mandarin that they had a reservation, I'm not sure. I waited for the next empty table, which was also taken by yet another group that magically appeared behind us as if they knew they were in line. I decided to leave after this. My issue is that I looked and talked to the staff multiple times and at no point, did they indicate there was a waitlist, nor did they take my name, or anything about people in front of us. It was really frustrating because being told it would be a few minutes set the wrong expectation. This is not the only place to get skewers so if you're left confused where you are in line, just come another weekday, speak mandarin, or go somewhere else like I did

** Takeout experience only **…read more Wow. Thank goodness. I finally have a good Chinese spot. Despite there being endless selections in Sacramento sometimes the American Chinese options are .... bleh ... They are either too oily. Mediocre taste. Overpriced. It's hard to find one that really stands out. Recently my coworkers and I all pitched in on takeout from here for Lunar New Year and ordered five dishes as takeout. One of my coworkers was the one who recommended this spot. Let me just say the food was incredible. The seafood chow mein was the standout dish out of everything. Loaded with octopus tentacles, scallops, shrimp. Feel like half the time you get seafood options these days they skimp out but this place did not disappoint. The fried rice was a little more unique than I've personally tried before with pieces of beef and cabbage. But still very tasty. And the pork dishes we got including the sweet and sour were just incredible. One thing I do want to mention was some pieces of the pork did have a bone attached, but I honestly didn't mind it much. The flavor made it up for it. Also inside of this place looks very modern, clean. Since we only got takeout I can't say for certain service for sit down but ordering and getting our food was simple. The staff were very kind and friendly. Again, THANK GOD I finally have a good Chinese food option. No more oily salty food or Panda Express.

The chow fun was especially disappointing--it just wasn't tasty at all. The orange chicken looked great, but honestly, I'd say Panda Express has more flavor. The chow mein and fried rice were also pretty bland. The chicken with vegetables was okay, nothing special. The highlight for us was definitely the chicken and cilantro dumplings--they were actually really good (which makes sense given the restaurant's name). Overall, it just wasn't for us.
