I've been going to Panda Express for years. The Prescott location has a horrible problem with quality of food. I've been there multiple times during dinner rush and the chow mein and the fried rice have both been disgusting almost every time! Veggies and noodles are tasteless and mushy, like it has been rewarmed over and over. Another time I went I got Kung Pao chicken, there was SO much red pepper... it literally BURNT my mouth. I brought it back and told them this is a danger and could potentially harm people!!!!! They didn't even bother checking it..... I pleaded with them to check it so that a young child or elderly person wouldn't be harmed. This is a VERY busy store and they don't care about the quality of food they're serving AT ALL, It's really unbelievable:.... This needs to be addressed by management. I could also write a book on the poorest customer service at a Panda Express ever. One person fills online orders and when they "have time" they help the 20 people in line. I've seen other employees literally stand around and do nothing when theres a line out the door...... DON'T EAT HERE! IT'S A DISASTER! read more

Worst customer service EVER! I ordered on line and PAID so when I showed up on my lunch time to pick it up- I went to the counter - was completely ignored - for 5 minutes! Finally after 3 people were helped on front of me while I was standing at the cashier I finally said get my pick order! Not one time did the guy in the only black shirt there ask me if he could help me or if I needed anything! When I asked for my order - rudely he said - the pick up sign is down there. So now I walk to the sign and wait again! While I am ignored! My order is paid for yet still has not been processed or have I been helped! Finally after 15 minutes of wasted time - and all walk in's have been helped my order is fixed and handed to me! This is the second time they've screwed us out of food. I ordered a big plate, 3 entrees of honey sesame chicken and orange chicken, sides super greens and fried rice. Get home and there's almost no chicken at all. They were insanely rude and unprofessional too. What a waste of $20. I see why this Panda Express located at 170 E Sheldon street has horrible reviews. There was absolutely no one in the drive through when I went through and when I ordered my food the employee stated it would take a total of 10 minutes to cook the food. The employee then stated to park in the second spot all the way from the left. I waited well over 10 minutes so I started to make my way inside to get an update. As I was walking in I noticed the employee walking out with my food. The employee then walked up to the passenger side of my vehicle with an annoyed face because she had to do her job. I RARELY ever leave anything below 4 for food establishments. I see why the reviews are so low. Ordered the "bigger" plate option. Which comes with a 3rd entree option. It was the smallest serving ever. Then the plastic in the chicken. If it wasn't for my little girl wanting this for Valentine's Day meals I'd have never realized how disgusting this establishment is. This would have started out as a 4 star review based on food and service, but eating in the dining room, we heard a dog barking, and looked over and saw a lady close to us feeding a dog on her lap. I love dogs, but not in a restaurant. Their policy states only service dogs allowed inside, emotional support animals and pet dogs are outside patio only. Why is this bad behavior allowed? read more

I'm staying at the nearby Springhill Suites so walked over for convenient dinner. Restaurant was busy at 7pm, a lot of items out and they looked understaff. I waited 10 minutes to be served in line but it's ok, they did their best. I ordered the plate, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and super greens. Food was ok, not fresh. The super greens undercooked, chicken cold, rice bland. Some staff wore gloves, some were not. I would skip if you have options to go somewhere else. read more

The food is great, but the management here need a serious performance review. I called needing them to give me a copy of my receipt after realizing they never gave me one. I needed it for work and was already over 2 hours away when I called so I couldn't simply drive back for it. The employee told me they were busy and asked me to call back in 30 minutes. I did, and they wouldn't answer. As time was running out for me and I wanted to avoid getting in trouble myself, I continued to call. Sometimes it rang and rang, other times the call seemed to be disconnected after a few rings. I know they hear it ring because they answered the first time I called. I had to go through corporate to get the receipt. What could have only taken me a phone call and 5 minutes ended up taking over an hour, several emails, and countless phone calls. The red/orange haired girl here had the weirdest customer service... my boyfriend and I were using the drive thru and we let them know we had an online order and when we went up to the window she just handed me one of my springrolls and closed the window then opened it again and just stared at us with a disgusting face just silent as if she finished serving us. We ordered our food, they had us come to the first window to pay, then we pull up to the second window where we are told unapologetically that they are out of half of what we ordered and we had to pick something else. Had we not already paid, we would have left. Love Panda Express but we won't be going back to this location. I'd like to think this review will matter to them but after reading many others with the similar complaints, it appears this location has no plans to improve their service. Bummer. read more

Out of orange chicken and the cashew shrimp portion was soft and not a full portion. It was soggy tasting.

How in the world are you out of so much food? literally everything I wanted they were out of, so I picked others just to get food. When getting to the window was told they didn't have enough to give me but couldn't give me a refund because "that's a hassle". Food is fine but they never have enough people scheduled. The dining room is closed damn near 50 % of the time. Probably an employee retention problem. Offer better pay or use better hiring practices? Or maybe treat employees better? They are losing business by not having the dining room open. I came again to this panda expecting something different such as ordering a bowl with an entree and getting a bit more than four pieces of meat. They seem to consistently provide below par service. I have been to the panda on glassford which seems to be the complete opposite in service and quantity. I am sorry but I would urge people to avoid this panda as this is unacceptable and seems to be the way they operate. It seems they are giving less rice in the bowls. Looks like premaid shrimp bowl. For the price at the very least put enough rice in the bowl. Food was not hot. Dont know how long the food sits under the lights to keep it warm.Not worth the money. read more

Can someone please explain to me why they close at 4 pm inside the store? I went few times and the front door was always locked and drive thru service sucks! I have eaten at various Panda Express locations. I have never had the opportunity to use a drive thru till now. I ordered a combo with broccoli beef and green bean chicken. Both the beef and chicken were served in minuscule portions that I would estimate as less than one ounce each. Yikes read more

Terrible place. Reviews speak for themselves. Made an online order. My husband went and picked it up and brought it home and it was incorrect. When I called they said I had two choices to come back and get a refund or get a plate that was my correct order. We went back to get another plate but the after explaining to the employee what happened he said he could only give us one of those mini containers. Paid $20 for a tiny container of food. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Contacted corporate and they didn't care. I doubt this place will continue to be open for very long. read more

This location is supposed to be open at 10am, but they NEVER are. Even at 10:30, they rarely have anything ready to serve their customers. A lot of days, they post a hand written sign up on the drive thru speaker, stating they cannot take any cash that day. I finally asked what that was about and it's because they have no change to give cash customers. My guess is poor management. The food is always great...when they actually have any to serve, but I leave here without food more than I actually have been served, because my lunch is from 10:15 to 10:45 and it's just so rare they are ready to serve by then. read more
