After a day of running around Amazing Acres (if you don't know this place, haven't been there and have kids, please look it up and go, it's great for kids), my son in law, my daughter and my granddaughter and I went to Royal Buffet. My son in law treated which was super nice. Ok, plain and simple, this is a chinese buffet. It's a really good sized buffet too. I think my son in law took a loss on me though, because I couldn't even make a dent with the amount of food that this buffet has to offer. I did give it my best shot however. The food was good. I didn't necessarily care for the sushi, I didn't feel that it was particularly fresh, maybe it had been sitting out for a bit, so that wasn't my favorite. I will say that the shrimp, all of the different types that were out, were delicious and well prepared. The dumplings in place were hard on the edges and also appeared to be old. The egg rolls however, were crispy and tasty. Everything else that I tried was really good. There are a ton of items to choose from, I can't even list them all here. There's desserts, ice cream, american items and of course chinese items. I believe the price for an adult is 18.99, kids ages 2-5 are 7.99. I think for this price, the buffet is worth it. The place is clean, attractive and even the bathrooms were nice. So would I come back here? Yes, I would, though I would seriously have to not eat for a day to even try and get my monies worth. It's good, try it out.
