Unsanitary workers, not professional enough. The noodles are dry. I saw a employee drop a wash rag on the floor (without gloves) then make a customer meal without washing their hands and without using gloves to prepare the food. I'm never going back to the one in Allen Park again! read more

Consistency in food and pricing helps franchised food units as I expected taste and freshness of veggies , noodles and fried rice well I got it. Asked Siri to find location and drove to it. Fast lunch time service and with limited veggie options only four - noodles, fried rice, boiled veggies- broccoli , Chinese lettuce , and spring rolls! see picture is posted. This is fourth state I have been to Panda Express . So far none in NYS read more

The food here is very good, the decor is nice with unusually comfortable seating. And if you like taking your meals in the middle of a tornado you'll like the atmosphere here too. Be ready for loud hyper music, loud buzzers going off that will be ignored until they go off by themselves, and 5 people yelling "Welcome to Panda" every time someone walks in the door. But the food is pretty good so... maybe get takeout? Update: This (1:15pm) visit heard no buzzers and music was much more pleasant - big improvement! Still need to allocate employees better. I was second in line for over a minute watching one person serve while three employees congregated around the register to deal with One customer. Good thing the food is way better than any fast food joint! read more

Terrible service. Placed an order and said it was ready 12 minutes after i ordered it. It's been 30 minutes past when they said it would be ready and I waited inside and they're helping all the people that just walked in instead of my order and i've been waiting for 30 minutes. Never ever again coming back to this location it was terrible. No one even has acknowledged me and it's impossible to talk to any worker. To the store manager- it has nothing to do with limited menu options. read more

I love Panda Express but this service is not acceptable. I went through the drive through and they told me I had to wait 6 minutes for the chow mein. I end up waiting THIRTY minutes for some noodles. Not only that, when my boyfriend went inside to complain the girl says "she forgot about it". 2 minutes later they give us our food and we're checking to make sure everything is there and there is a hair in our food! Not only that, for some reason they put a fortune cookie inside the box with my food which I find totally unhygienic. My boyfriend goes inside to tell them about the hair and the girl didn't apologize or even acknowledge it. Totally disgusting and terrible service read more

I ordered for pick up and it was ready when I reached. I was there less than couple of minutes to pick up my order which was good. Food tasted good as usual. I ordered 2 entrees and a side. Entree portions were smaller. Entree portion was less than the side. I asked for fried rice as side and got more rice than chicken. read more

Having given them another chance after management reached out, chow mein seems better portioned. I do wish the employees at least tried to pretend they enjoyed working there, though. read more

My fiancé is allergic to mushrooms but he wanted to try the black pepper angus beef. Since it has mushroom we asked nice to see if they can take off the mushroom (only the one on his plate) they told us no they can't. I know we are in a pandemic but in other areas would understand someone is allergic to an item that they can safe take out only the portion on the plate. They use to do this before but now I'm upset that they stop. read more

if i could give no stars i would worst place you can order at i used their app to order and when it came it wasn't even my order and i had ordered two plates i got one which wasn't even mine not even close to what i ordered called the store they didn't even feel sorry about it they were rude and it would have been fine if it was only one time thing but they have done this multiple times never ordering there again read more

Fast and delicious. Consistently good service also. The Beijing Beef is absolutely the best, and that comes from someone who doesn't even like beef dishes in general. I find the service at this location has also been consistently good and friendly. read more

This place has only been open like a year and a half, but it's already gone pretty far downhill. Every time we go in, they seem to be out of their most popular dishes (orange chicken, rice, noodles). It's like they wait until they're completely empty before ordering a new pot from the kitchen. Which means people stand around for ten minutes getting cranky. Ok, to be fair, I love the noodles when they're fresh. And the orange chicken, black pepper chicken, and Beijing beef are all pretty solid options. When they have any. And when they're fresh. But it seems more and more to be a rare exception. Service is usually pretty friendly, but godawful slow. Expect a 10-15 minute wait between walking in and eating, even if there's only one or two people ahead of you. It'll probably be a while before I go back. And when I do, it'll probably just be because my typical Chinese restaurants are closed for the day. read more

I had to visit Panda Express after a friend on Yelp frequented regularly. I have to say that I like it better than the normal chinese food I'm used to. A meal is under $7 with 2 meats. Entrees include orange chicken, walnut honey shrimp, beef, chinese spare ribs and grilled teriyaki chicken breast to name a few. Sides include mixed veggies, chow mein, fried rice, and brown rice. I opted for orange chicken, grilled chicken teriyaki and mixed vegetables. It was a filling meal and the steamed vegetables were a nice portion. The staff was friendly in the drive thru and during the evening rush (yes I went back twice that day) the staff handled the large crowd with pleasantries. It is a chain, but the food is priced right and the flavor is worth a visit. read more

As any PE, the food is what it is. However it's unappetizing when you come into a warming bar of food that looks like it's been sitting all day and over half of the food being empty. The guy at the counter was inattentive, hardly paid attention and kept up on his side conversations with his coworkers rather than helping us. Floor was filthy. read more

I like Panda Express! I do... When I went here we had a super large order and the first employee started to help us and was very nice... Then this small, stereotypical Asian motherly creature stormed in and started shouting urgently at us to keep moving down the rine even though we hadn't ordered our sides yet... How can I finish ordering my sides from the REGISTER? She was also very rude while we chose entrees. The guy who took our money redeemed the experience by being down to earth and funny. I know they want to keep the rine moving prease but she was over the top. Maybe they should have designed the place to handle a dinner rush properly without the line extending out the door instead of being pissy when a customer has a big order... Or maybe they shouldn't offer large portions if they can't handle preparing them when they are ordered......! But seriously. The food was good and most of the employees were good. They need to work out some kinks ;) read more

When I placed my order with the drive thru, I asked for brown rice. The employee said "fried rice." I corrected her and enunciated "brown rice" clearly, concisely, and slowly. I saw on the screen that fried rice was rung up. When I got to the window, I pointed out the mistake. She left and came back with another employee. The first one said that she heard me say "fried rice", the second one said that she asked me three times if I said "fried rice". I tried to be polite when I mentioned that I am allergic to eggs, so I would never order fried rice. I am absolutely floored that they would feed the need to argue with me about it. I figured it was an honest mistake, why argue about it? Secondly, if she truly heard "fried rice" why would she need to repeat it three times? Wouldn't once be sufficient? I ended up driving off. I'm not going to say that it was necessarily their age, I have two teenagers myself and they are very hard workers. However, I think that their maturity level and their customer service skills need to be improved. This could have easily been corrected by them saying that they misunderstood/misheard me (which I honestly thought was the case) and made the necessary corrections. But, they chose to be childish and argue instead of just correcting the mistake. read more

I've been a fan of Panda Express for as long as I can remember and will always come back for their great food but definitely not this particular place. Beijing beef and orange chicken were ok. Waited for fresh noodles but instead I got the nastiest chow mein ever - it was cold, rubbery, and bland. Noticed a spill on the floor (could be beverage, soy sauce or something) with "Wet Floor" sign near the door. It's great having the sign in placed BUT why not clean it immediately. I sat in the restaurant for 10 minutes or more and no one bothered to clean the floor. A female employee was handling the trash, going in and out of the vicinity but failed to take the proper precaution. Employees need a better training on Spill-Prevention Plan. read more

Don't bother. Check out any other chinese take out place in the downriver area and I guarentee the food will be faster and better tasting. There were 2 people in front of me in line and it took 15 minutes to get to the counter to even give my order. There was 1 car in the drive-thru, so I wouldn't consider that "busy". After I ordered I saw the guy scoop the wrong chicken and when I said I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken he told me that's what he gave me. I said no, you gave me sweetfire Chicken. He laughed and scooped the rice into a different container and proceeded to give me the tiniest helping of sweet and sour chicken I've ever seen. There were maybe 4 little pieces of chicken and it was pretty dry, no sauce. I ended up throwing away most of the rice because there wasn't any sauce from the entree to flavor the rice. This is my 2nd time at this location (the first visit was even worse). This is also my last visit. read more

Came around dinner and instead of telling me that they were out of mushroom chicken they gave me the little that was left on the bottom. I was furious because that's what I was craving. Usually it's not bad but instead of pretending that there's something there when there isn't let people know, or ask if they want something different instead. read more

I've been to this location twice. The first time I went was for a quick Chinese fix, and everything tasted remotely okay. However, the second time I went, my order was not fresh at all! I ordered a plate with chow mein, rice, crab rangoons, and honey walnut shrimp (which is 1.25 extra.) I was appalled at the quality of my food. It was cold and not fresh. The rice were old and tasted like plastic. The chowmein had cabbage in it; there were barely any noodles! I am extremely dissatisfied, and I will not be coming back to Panda Express. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews, I stopped by for lunch today it was fantastic experience. very friendly staff. location is perfect, huge parking lot with outside tables. nicely cool interior. this is American Fast food Chinese food, not an authentic Chinese food restaurant, it's an American version of taco bell, but Chinese. why are people looking for Authentic? then go to and Authentic place and don't be cheapskate. I thought it was fine.. food was warm and it suppose to be. will definitely stop here again.. read more

Panda Express - Huge portions, so bring your appetite. this is orange chicken, with spicy black pepper and kung pow chicken. - Chinese Near Me - Allen Park, Michigan

Got sick twice after eating this garbage. Worst Panda Express ever let alone worst fast food. They have down graded their food so much and I am beyond disappointed. The first time I got food poisoning because this location served me raw chicken. I got two gift cards in return which is completely a waste of my time. So I decide to use the gift cards because whatever and then I get sick again after trying to eat this again. Absolutely horrible! read more

Out in Allen Park for a Sunday shopping run, the wife says, "How bad can Panda Express really be?" Pretty bad, it turns out. On the plus side, the staff were very pleasant. However, the food just did not taste very good. Nothing seemed like you'd get sick or anything, but we didn't want to finish any of it. Seems like it should be very possible to do this "Chipotle model" for Chinese food, but they are not doing it. read more

Wow, this place has some serious management issues. This location has been open for over 3 weeks now. They open at 10:30 am for lunch. I walked in at 10:35 behind 2 other people and the first thing I was greeted with was a counter worker yelling "we can only accept credit cards!" Ok. Tried to order.. "Sorry we don't have any brown or white rice". Ok then, fried rice it is. Meanwhile there are a dozen employees scrambling around seemingly getting nothing accomplished. So the food is a decent value and tasty but I did end up with a large piece of bone in the Kung Pao chicken. This was my second visit for lunch. The first was also very chaotic. Overall it seems like they are ill prepared for business at this location. I certainly hope it improves. read more

Recently opened, fast casual. I ordered a 3 entree plate, as my side I picked the fried rice. The rice was average not bad, or great. For my entrees I picked Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, and Beijing Beef. I thought the entrees were all flavorful and would order anyone of them again. Also ordered a chicken egg roll that i enjoyed very much, as I do not like traditional shrimp egg rolls you find in most local chinese restaurants. price point was very good for the amount and quality of food you recieve. read more

I've ate here a few times since it has opened and it's pretty good not sure what everyone else was experienced but I don't have anything bad to say about it and we are picky when it comes to Chinese. I mean it's a chain so the food taste just like the ones they have in the mall. The walnut shrimp is great and so is the orange chicken. Crab Rangoon isn't so great taste more like cream cheese then anything. I wouldn't recommend those. read more

They are making a reputation on running out of chicken teriyaki, not good, that's my favorite there, haven't been there in months now until they correct the problem. read more

The Panda Express in Allen park is by the worst one I have ever been too. Very unprofessional and management doesn't have any idea what they are doing. Drive to a different one if you want panda. read more

The drive thru here is a complete disaster. Literally 30 min wait - not sure why it's so difficult to run an efficient drive thru.

DO NOT EAT HERE. EXTREMELY UNSANITARY MANAGER. I ordered online and when I got there to pick it up (on time) I was told I would have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to cook the food. I'm glad I was there to watch. I watched the manager wear the same pair of gloves to accept cash from a customer, then count out $80 in change to the customer, wipe the sweat off his forehead and cheeks many times, and THEN he used those same filthy sweaty gloves to take handfuls of cabbage out of a cooler and toss them in a wok. I tried to call his attention to changing his gloves and he ignored me. Then he used the same filthy gloved hands to mix the noodles and cabbage together like he had a disgusting germy point to prove. When I asked to change my food so I didn't have to eat those contaminated noodles he refused to acknowledge me for about 10 minutes pretending to cook, then skipped over me to serve two customers who arrived after me. It was clear he knew he was in the wrong but refused to do anything to make it right! When he finally acknowledged that I was still waiting to speak to him I told him I did not want to be served the contaminated food and he said " Okay. Thank you for your opinion. Goodbye" read more

I ordered Online, today . I ordered an extra side of chow-men noodles and 10 packets of soy sauce with my food. It was snowing and took 20 minutes to get home after I picked up the food for me and my family. After I got home we saw that there was no soy sauce , no extra side . They charged me the extra 3$ for the side and it wasn't there . To make matters worst , there was no soy sauce .. and with this kind of food if you don't have soy sauce it's dry and not even worth eating .. I ended up having to make a Kroger run for some sauce.. and when I tried to call them to let them know what happened they pick up the phone and hang up because they are so slammed . This really just happened today , my order number was 13302234 Saturday 5:45 PM read more

Came there at 7:13pm, tried to order the chicken breast string bean & the girl at the drive through said they weren't making it because it takes a long time to make. They close at 9:30, how long can it possibly take to cook? Usually they cook it & its 6-10 min wait, it's understandable if they were sold out but they weren't. Wasted my time driving here when I could have gone to another one. read more

My son loves the honey walnut shrimp over chow mein, and he got me hooked they just need to work on customer service a little.

Went in here for dinner takeout and it was my first time i tried panda express! I am extremely glad i came in today. I will be here every time i can! Its a little chaotic but thats perfectly fine since that means they have business! I would have liked a little more noodles in the chow mein but its okay nothing im ganna go crazy about. The person serving us was super nice and even gave us samples and super affordable compared to the food courts. Hope they keep getting business! read more

Destiny and Bashar were absolutely fantastic today. I'm so glad I live close to this location because the entire staff has always been wonderful to me and my family! Fantastic food and they ALWAYS always go above and beyond to make sure I leave with a smile on my face! Always busy, always friendly, & I'm most definitely not surprised! Kudos to the manager at this location! You picked fantastic employees to take care of the customers on the hill! read more

The positive is that the man cooking the Orange Chicken offered me a fresh serving that he had just finished. He should be commended for the thoughtful customer service - unfortunately, I did not get his name. Walnut shrimp was good but portion was tiny. The chicken portion size was also really small. And the fried rice was over-cooked and mushy. For more than $9, the "plate" was not a good value. I can get much better at nearby non-chain, independent Chinese-type restaurants. read more

Honestly the food is so good we come back all the time!! The wok seared steak and shrimp is the best!! The orange chicken and the broccoli beef are great too!! Only thing that's wrong is that there is never green been chicken anymore :( read more

When we got here the line was long but they were moving fast. The Asian lady who seemed like the manager/owner was very nice and fast, but no one else really was. After we got our food she left, and the line got really long and slow. The food looked and tasted fresh, and everything tasted good. You get a lot of heavy, mostly fried food, so come prepared ;) The restaurant looks great and was fairly clean, it just needs more seating room and better trained employees. I'll give them another try in a few weeks. read more

For fast food, it was good. I ordered orange chicken with grilled vegetables. The price was reasonable, as was the quality. As expected, they throw frozen chicken nuggets in a deep fryer. The sauce is what makes the dish, and though it was a little thicker than I'm used to, the flavor was good. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls. The outside was crispy and cooked perfectly. The inside was a little mushy, but edible. With plum sauce they were good. Service was efficient. It was too cold inside the restaurant (Why do some businesses crank the air conditioning up so high in the summer that you need a jacket just to sit inside?), so we sat outside. The temperature was perfect outside, and we enjoyed our parking lot view while eating. The trash can was overflowing, so we had to go inside to dispose of our trash, but that wasn't a big deal in my opinion. I don't expect perfection out of a fast food chain, and a three means it's an average fast food joint. read more

All of the staff at this location is very friendly, they always greet you upon entering. They do a great job!

Went to the drive though...ordering was fine but when I got to the window the employees were pushing each other. One was trying to give me my order and the other was grabbing for my money. They were just playing around and laughing. Nothing professional about it though. Looking sort of like they need a babysitter. One girl looked like she was in her 30's.... I hate to say it but now we see why ppl work where they work. And I asked for extra soy sauce...she was like I already put one in your bag....well I want another one missy....lol got back to work and the box was upside down in the bag.....really?!?! So it spilled out as soon as I opened it. It was just a mess....I'm not going back to this location. read more
