I really like this location Many times they don't have what I want, so they'll make 1 or 2 portions for me Sometimes I do get some "attitude," but they always do it

We definitely wanted Panda Express on the way to Malibu. Stopped in here for the first time and wow we were blown away by the amount and the quality we were served. I don't understand why ppl wrote they had bad service when we were treated well. Asked how long it would take to make more apple pie (yes apple pie) "new item" and manager said 3 minutes and it was fresh. The chow mein was perfect and that too was fresh while we waited for a new batch.

That's what was in my beef and broccoli box. More like broccoli with small chunks

Ordering food nowadays you just hope to get what you ordered. The noodles were hard but the honey walnut shrimp was okay. Unfortunately I got two small pieces of beef in my beef and broccoli and when everything is so expensive I expect better portions.

I came here to get some food for lunch. This Panda Express is located near the US101-S freeway, so it's convenient to get off and back on the freeway after eating. There is plenty of seating, and service was good.

This was my reaction when I saw the fortune in the fortune cookie sticking out.

This place has quite the ambiance I can see the Chinese architecture all over the entire building our sever/worker Esteban was just the cutest and nicest little guy so I ordered some orange chicken and it was OMG it was pretty goated if do say so my self in other words it was quite exquisite but I also got some fortune cookies 3 to be exact. And what I saw next was shocking. When I open the wrapping to the nice sugary cookie I saw that one cookie had been cracked and the other two had the fortune already sticking out you may see my reaction below. But all in all the experience was quite nice and I hope Esteban will be my future husband/pookie bear.

Trash!

This place deserves no star, but yelp has yet to make that an option. Definitely should come up with a (-) negative review, where we actually minus a star. I visited Panda Express store #1409, Agoura Hills, CA. My experience was that of poor customer service and lack of appreciation for the payee. I walked in to order a bowl. I approached the counter and was Not greeted with a simple "Hello" or " What can I serve you with today"! Server Mirna P said "Yes", as if you just walk up to a counter and shout out an order. Just rude! I skipped over the lack of a respectful greeting and asked for a bowl please. Mirna then grabs a container in which I've never seen served as a bowl. I'm used to the, actual bowls in which Panda still features on the app for ordering. Mirna, pulls out a container that looked as though someone forgot to order store supplies and sent a team member to the nearest "Smart & Final" to make quick, yet meager accommodations. Absolutely not acceptable! Panda, if this is a container in which you are moving towards, then the price of the bowl needs to change because this container was smaller then the kids meal box and website must reflect this packaging. When I let Mirna know, " that's not going to work for me" she immediately gathers a little bit more of a negative attitude then she already displayed and grabs one of the regular boxes. Mirna then slaps noodles in the box and ladled a half spoon of mushroom chicken. She moves to the register and furthered offered terrible etiquette, lack of brand standards and representation. I paid cash and placed the money in Mirna's hand. She ( Mirna) throws my change on the counter. In what world, or where do we set our team members up for success by teaching staff to not place the money into a customers hand?!?! Once my daughter grabbed her bag she looked inside and asked for a fork, and soy sauce please. Mirna proceeded to say "if you wanted that you should have asked"!!!! At that point, I lost all couth. I give Mirna a quick review on a dying art of customer service etiquette, and how to treat paying patrons that keep a business afloat and operational with a level of respect. Simple respect! To be thankful to have a job and thankful to the persons that allow that job to be functional. Also to give change back the same way it was received and to look a customer in the face. Not at the floor while you're attempting to be disrespectful!!! At that point another man approaches and tells Mirna in Spanish "Give her whatever she wants so she can leave"! Hilarious, that he felt the need to speak Spanish to Mirna when our entire conversation was in English. Also to assume that because I may look as though I don't speak Spanish, that I didn't understand!!! it's extremely disrespectful to jump into another language to dismiss a customer who spoke English and received poor communication in English. The entire store lacks regard for the persons walking through the door. Maybe it's no concern to lose business for the Panda Brand, however from this experience, I made myself, more self aware about the power I possess as to allowing myself or my children to receive mediocrity from a business that will employ anyone to serve basic food. Food thrown into a container and to have the nerve to be overpriced. It's truly unacceptable and sad. I seriously wish we all wake up and put big business out of business. This store needs a team that enjoys going into work to be of service to the persons walking through the door, who considers their weak food during a quick fix for a teen who's so hungry. Agoura Hills Panda is sad, with dried out food, ugly team members and lack of a strong positive brand representation. I will never again!!!! Thank you Panda for reminding me to cook meals and not do what's quick instead of what feels right.... Honestly I shouldn't even be this mad about "Panda"! It's certainly Not of any good quality, or a nice healthy options out here. The store was clean and located off an easy part of Canwood. Parking lot had plenty of parking and the store was located in a very calm, nice strip mall. But please don't be fooled. Expect nothing!! Never a Hater, always here to appreciate a great experience, but this was not one.

My lost and now found wallet by panda and Sophia!

Yunnan Restaurant - Spicy Fried Fish Fillet

Our favorite Chinese food place in Oak Park, Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills Neighborhood. Here are…read morea few dishes I am happy to recommend: spicy diced chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sechuan fried green beans( this one has a lot of garlic), sechuan braised pork with buns, kimchi fish( request non spicy if you don't eat hot peppers). There are many other options on their menu, feel free to explore. My kids are picky eaters but they absolutely love the Chinese food from here. I of course enjoy the authentic sechuan flavor being Chinese myself. The restaurant is kept tidy and clean, if you want a dine in experience I recommend you to make a booking, walk-in is very welcome but keep note that sometimes it gets really crowded. They have frozen handmade dumplings for sale too if that's something you want to look into.

Was surprised to find such an authentic spot for Chinese in Oak Park!…read more I came by for a Mother's Day lunch with my family. When we arrived around 1 pm, the restaurant was maybe half full. But clearly it was popular as people were coming in constantly the entire time we were eating. Even though the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, most of the dishes on the menu were more like Sichuan dishes i.e. spicy. All of the food was super solid and portions were ginormous. My recommendation is to order 1 dish per person if you want leftovers, or order one less dish than the # of people if you want to finish most of the food. I don't handle spice very well, so we ordered a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We shared the following: #1 Yunan rice noodles ($16.99) #32 scallion pancake ($8.99) #104 Chong qing fried chicken ($16.99) #107 braised pork belly with buns ($19.99) #109 boiled two items - fish and duck blood ($21.99) Given that the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, we felt like we had to order one of the most popular dishes from that region, the Yunan rice noodles i.e. crossing the bridge noodles. I really enjoyed the silky smooth mixian noodles as well as the flavorful broth. The fried chicken was too spicy for me; I ate one piece and my whole mouth was on fire. Everyone else said it was quite spicy as well, so eat this in moderation unless you can really handle your spice. The 3 pepper signs next to this dish on the menu are no joke! The braised pork belly was delicious, but portions were on the smaller side for this one. Still, I enjoyed making a little bun sandwich with the pork belly and pickled veggies. The boiled fish and duck blood was also super solid. It was just a little spicy, so I was able to manage a couple pieces with the help of rice on the side. Portions were very generous for this dish. We all ate lots of fish and duck blood and still had a ton left to take home. They also have some precooked 涼菜, i.e. cold dishes, on the side you can buy for dine-in or to go. We got 3 of the meats - pork tongue, pork head, and and beef tripe, to go. Paid $16.99 for a huge box of these meats. We thought this was a steal too. Can't wait to try some at home!

The restaurant itself is nice and cozy, plus super clean. 10/10 I would come back and I definitely recommend it. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and it felt like the kitchen cared about what they were sending out. Unfortunately, today's experience was the complete opposite--and disappointing enough that I felt the need to leave this review. Order #1: Broccoli Beef The beef was largely fatty, chewy, and very rough to eat. It honestly felt like low-quality cuts that shouldn't have been served at all. The broccoli itself was undercooked, leaving it hard rather than tender. To make matters worse, the brown sauce was overly thick and completely lacking in flavor. It added nothing to the dish and only highlighted how poorly executed it was. Order #2: Chicken Chow Mein This dish was even more disappointing. The chicken portion was not even half of what it was just a few months ago, which was immediately noticeable. The noodles were smaller, dry, and bland, and the entire dish had absolutely no taste. No seasoning, no depth--just food going through the motions. This brings me to a larger issue that I've noticed not just here, but at many restaurants lately: to-go orders are not being treated with the same care as dine-in meals. It feels like once the food leaves the building, quality and pride go out the window. That should never be the case. People are still spending real money on these meals. We spent over $40 on today's order, and quite frankly, it was inedible. That's unacceptable. When customers are spending $40-$50 on takeout, the food should still be made with care, attention, and pride--just like it would be if it were being served at a table. To give the restaurant a chance to address the issue, I called and spoke with the manager before writing this review. Unfortunately, that interaction was just as disappointing. She offered a brief "sorry," seemed completely uninterested in the feedback, and made no real effort to address the situation or make it right. It felt dismissive and left me with the impression that customer satisfaction simply wasn't a priority. I genuinely hope management reads this and takes it seriously. This place used to be good, which is why this experience is so frustrating. Please remind the kitchen that every order matters, especially takeout. People are choosing to spend their hard-earned money here, and they deserve food that's prepared with care and respect. Based on this experience, I will not be returning or spending my hard-earned money at Lakeview Garden again.
