The first telltale sign of good Mexican, to me, is the salsa. In this case, I wasn't sure our experience would go one way or the other. The salsa was completely edible, but not exciting. However, our food arrived and we were astonished at the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the perfect preparation! I ordered the pechugas, and I have NEVER had such delicious chicken in my life. My plate had 2 thinly sliced, tender chicken breasts, a salad, fresh refried beans, and rice for $8.50! My husband and I ordered a hearty appetizer (panchos), 2 entrees, and drinks, took home leftovers, and our bill totaled less than $31. Our server was sweet and attentive throughout our dining experience and we heard her give our compliments to the chef. We are in the area a few times a year and will definitely be returning.
