The quesadillas chicken is the bomb I just had yesterday and I'm still thinking about it

Burrito was good and service was fast. Disappointed in customer service. I ordered 2 orders of chips and queso and only got 1 thing of chips. No biggie so I call them and the response i received is we ran out of chips sorry. When I asked about a coupon or credit, I was told they don't do that. As an alternative to chipotle this place is great. But today there was only one staff person on the counter, and he was working AirPods in his ears and we had to correct him multiple times on our order, this is rather unprofessional. read more

Chicken Burrito didn't have any thing ready at 4:00 pm. But still charged the same amount for it. It was cold the rice beans and meat. Nothing was good. Even the pop had not taste. Needed more syrup. read more

Here's what I will say. My experience is that this is better than Chipotle but when I got my last meal at Pancheros in Rochester MN, the gentleman helping me was great but he adjusted himself and his pants multiple times and never changed gloves. Not so much. Thanks. The cheese sauce was very very watery as well. That was my last visit there sadly. Taco Jed's is my new spot. read more

Similar to a Chipotle or Qdoba but with the added benefit of your tortilla being made fresh and pressed as soon as you order a burrito. I found the staff to be very friendly. The food was good for the price. I also had an order of chips and queso which were fantastic. read more

If you want a burrito that's the same as Chipotle without the crowded long wait, come here! Just as good. Guac maybe not as distinctive, and food tastes more mild (could just be the day) but still fine. Prices comparable, a little cheaper even. A lot easier to get to than north Chipotle and a better parking lot! read more

Well it's not Chipotle, but it's not bad. Typical options of bowl/burrito/taco/salad. They make their own tortillas, a fact they were quick to highlight. One choice of rice- cilantro lime, but it wasn't very flavorful. Choose your meat (or combination of- it's all one price). Choose your beans. Then pick your salsas and toppings (they do have queso!). Guac is still extra. The portions are significantly smaller than Chipotle, I kept asking for a little bit more then I finally just gave up, a little bit more wasn't worth the hassle of even asking. The staff was incredibly friendly though and interactive, both in line ordering and they came by the table to make sure everything tasted okay! I probably wouldn't be back too often...since Chipotle is just one stop light away. read more

I have been going here for the last couple months and have liked it. Went the other day and it was the worst experience I've had yet. All of our meat was cold and the service was not good. Felt rushed instead of listened to, even though we were the only people there. Did not feel good after we ate, did not feel good yesterday or today. I would seriously check the meat temp. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the managers was packing some chewing tobacco in his mouth while on the line. Coming from the service industry myself, these are all HUGE no-no's. Pancheros definitely surprised me! Being a lifelong Chipotle supporter, I was pleasantly pleased with the quality of food and amount of food given. The burritos weren't overly massive, and it was beyond delicious. The chips were great, too! I think my favorite part was the tortilla--so beyond good. read more

We dined here for lunch. Not much of a line at 11:40 but by noon there was a long line. Lots of booths inside and a few tables with chairs. I got the burrito and my son got the bowl. I recommend the bowl as it comes with the tortilla on the side. When they built my burrito stuff was glomped on rather than spread out. All the rice was together, beans at one end, other stuff piled up in the middle. Warning- they charge extra for some toppings and don't tell you till you get to the register! I was not impressed with the food. The ingredients were at room temperature and dried out like they had been waiting for customers for several hours. Both times I've been here, the restaurant is absolutely freezing. The food is also slightly colder than I would prefer. The flavors are good and I love that they make their own tortillas. If the restaurant, and more importantly, the food were adequate temperatures, I would be a regular for sure! read more

I got a chicken burrito and it was pretty yummy! Like other people have said, it's not that different from Chipotle, but it is cool to watch them press the tortillas on the spot, and I like that they mix the filling before wrapping up the burrito. I really enjoyed the queso that they have, and the guac is pretty solid too. My one complain is that when they were wrapping up the burrito, the burrito teared. Normally when that happens at Chipotle, they'll wrap the burrito in another tortilla, but at this Pancheros they scooped the filling out of the original burrito and put it in the new tortilla, throwing out the old one. This seemed like a ridiculous waste of food, and made my final burrito a lot smaller. Most of the people working were really friendly, but the woman making the tortilla was very bristly and ignored me completely. read more

Arrived at 8:50pm to try this place out for the first time and was waiting for a friend to meet us there, but then at 8:55 they started turning the lights off and closing the place down. I called because online and on the door it says they're open until 10 and wanted to confirm their hours. The worker I talked to said that they were open until 10 so I asked if they were open until 10 that night and he said that they were closing early that night. I asked why and he said that it's been a slow night so they were going home. I was very frustrated because we were literally right outside the door with our car lights on and they could see it! Wanted to try this place out, but now I never will, awful work ethic. read more

This is a Chipotle wannabe that nickels and dimes you for everything on their menu. The meat is under seasoned and everything else is just really bland. The only good thing here is their tortillas. Definitely save your money and go elsewhere read more

Worst Pancheros ever. We have been eating at the Golden Valley, MN Pancheros for years. They were understaffed. Running out of queso, so what do they do...add half gallon of ice cold milk and stir to make it into a cold milk soup with chucks of gelatinous burnt cheese. My burrito was heinous, as was the chips and queso we ordered. Cold milk kept dripping out if the burrito everywhere. Added it right in front of me while telling me it all mixes in. Hmmm, nooo...it doesn't until it all warms up. read more

Insert personal interpretation of staff's behavior and competency vs my own projection of my expectations on how I believe they should be. Insert comment about the item I ordered being slightly different than how I expected. Side note comparing it to the leading competitor's products. Comment on the one thing I wish they did differently that I was disappointed about. Snobby comment validating the legitimacy of my review because of my experience with having eaten at this establishment in a different city and/or similar yet superior establishments that do things better. Coming from an Iowa girl who grew up on Pancheros, I was so excited to hear there was a Panch in Rochester. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of service. I remember walking in and always getting greeted followed by an exceptionally speedy burrito making process. It seemed like all the employees were moving in slow motion. I don't have particularly high standards, these people were looking around store while casually scooping everybody's fix-in's. To top it off, there was no Cholula!!
