Sometimes eating out with kids is stressful. You can't always give the kids a gadget so they won't be bored. You can't always prevent them from crying when something frustrates them. And you can't exactly tell them to shut up when they feel like singing Frozen songs in a pubic place. It's like telling the kid not to be a kid. See, this is why I love Pancake House. It's like the most child friendly restaurant I've ever been to. As soon as they see me and my nieces and nephew walk in the door, they're quick to give them some coloring materials and paper. They have high chairs for the babies. And they have a a special menu for the kids. (Yeah, I sometimes order from the kids' menu.) The best part is, moms and dads know that it's a kid friendly place. The other customers won't glare at you when your kid starts to cry. And when they start singing songs and dancing, their kids join in. Oh yes, try their waffles. It's really good. And their breakfast meals which can be eaten at any time of the day will make you full and happy.

After passing this franchise joint, we got sucked in by the pictures in the windows and came in for a late breakfast. We were seated very quickly, which was awesome. We had our coffee order taken quickly. That was awesome too. It took forever to have our food order taken....not awesome. In fact, it was rather disappointing. It wasn't peak time yet and there were still some empty seating around us. We managed to wave down the "host" and spur out our order, not caring if she were one of the servers. At that point, waiting 15 minutes to give an order was just not acceptable. The food came out relatively quickly, which was great especially because I was starving. I ordered the ube pancakes with the cheese on the side (I didn't want my pancakes soggy!). My husband ordered the bibingka pancakes. In retrospect, I should've ordered the exact thing he had. The ube pancakes were tasty. Not out of this world but good. The few bites I took of the bibingka pancakes...whoa! All the flavors meshed really well! The pancakes were light (like the ube ones) and I just liked it. I was told it was a seasonal thing so I'm not sure if it's still around given this review is a few weeks later. If it's still there, please try out the bibingka pancakes!

Eat at 8pm. The tacos were still delicious. The chicken fried not so good just bland since it lacked seasoning or salt.

After wandering around for half an hour, we ended up in front of the restaurant. What intrigued us about the place was how empty it was, though it was already past five PM and there was major traffic of people in the mall. The site I supposed reminded us that it was dinner time already, so we mulled over whether to give the place a try. My sis quickly decided against it because she assumed an empty restaurant must mean bad food. However, I was craving for real Filipino food at that moment (and I was paying), so we ended up inside the restaurant after quickly glancing at the menu. The place was so empty that even the host was out of sight. After a minute or so, the host appeared and we were seated promptly needless to say. We even had a pick of any table! We ended up ordering the bagnet that came with the sour broth on the side, beef adobo, laing, and garlic fried rice with dilis. And as it turned out, we really enjoyed the food! My sister and my mom raved about the bagnet. I liked everything. In conclusion, the place was a hit. Before our staycation ends this Saturday, I would like to back and try out the other dishes.

My own stomach deserved better. Solid late-night spot. Generous portions, comforting flavors, and a vibe that feels like a warm hug after a long day (or a long night out, depende sa choices mo). Alfresco dining is super chill, but be warned: it starts getting packed around 1-2AM with people who look like they've survived a full pub crawl. What we ordered: * Pork Bagnetsilog - Crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly generous. * Talong Chips + Tokwa - My ultimate fave. I kept "trying one more" until suddenly... nothing was left. Zero self-control, and honestly? Worth it. * Chicharon Bulaklak + Tokwa - Dangerously crunchy. Perfect with rice or on its own. * Coffee Nagaraya Sorbetes - Fun idea, but the coffee flavor needs a little more oomph. Still worth a try. * Leche Flan Sorbetes - A sinful dulce de leche situation -- sweet tooth approved. Only downside: Parking took 30 mins to 1 hour. Will we be back? Absolutely. Probably sooner than parking trauma can heal. Another late night go-to unlocked.

Excellent customer service with delicious meals and plenty of options on their menu. This is our second time dining at Locavore but first time at Brixton Street in Estancia location. Customer service at Brixton Street, Estancia is consistent with the BGC location. The staff is also very well versed with food allergies. The staff was great every step of the way from seating, to ordering, to delivering our orders on a timely manner and until the very end. I'd been wanting to try Filipino food, and this place came highly recommended by some locals. The food was incredible. I tried the sizzling sinigang, and it completely surprised me. The flavor was sour, savory, and comforting all at once. I also had the oyster sisig, which was crispy, rich, and perfect with a cold San Miguel beer. Every dish came out hot and well-presented. The restaurant itself has a great vibe!!! lively but not too loud. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially since I wasn't too familiar with Filipino dishes. They explained what everything was and even suggested a few must-tries. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Philippines. And I'll definitely come back next time!
