They make incredible breads and really have some great coffee and small finger sandwiches. There are two sides of the shop and one contains products from Africa. Say, one bag of my candies was €2 pretty cheap compared to €5. Staff is friendly but don't speak a word of English so you might play gestures for a little bit. There's only street parking on a one way street. So, it might be a little tricky to get a spot, but it would be worth the walk if you have to park further away. Make sure to go into the side room. I ended up leaving bc I still needed to eat real food and got my stuff to go. I accidently began to walk out without paying and the guy at the counter was really nice about it, I apologized and he said it was ok. Gelato is…read moreeverywhere and we already have some favorites, but in the name of fairness we feel the need to try as many as possible. This way we have a true opinion on gelato in Vicenza. :) This little shop has plenty of outdoor seating and by the looks of what the customers were ordering they have great capaccino as well. There is plenty of foot traffic between the shop and the tables. Also, one of my favorite aspects of this shop is that the tables and chairs are in the street. Cars are only permitted if they have a pass and this section is foot and bike traffic for the most part. The decor inside is fun and refreshing. There's a large wall with a black and white photo of a couple sipping drinks together, some uniquely desinged bum chairs, and some more whimsical art on the walls. Now to the best part.... THE GELATO!!! It was fabulous! I loved my creme caramel and my daughter thought her fragola was great. I will say that she still prefers Pretto's fragola, but loved this one too. The location is worth the experience and the gelato is delicious. If you like people watching this is the spot for you! Another one of my favorite things about Vicenza is that no one is in a hurry to get you out of your seat. So, you can sit back and relax and just take in the view.
