If you're deciding what to get here, the Basque cheesecake is an ABSOLUTE MUST…read more I got the original Basque cheesecake (around $20). It's on the smaller side, so if you're a real cheesecake lover, you could honestly polish off the whole thing by yourself. The texture is absolute perfection, not overly heavy, not too airy, just right. If you're from the Bay Area or San Francisco and miss Zanze's Cheesecake, this immediately brought back those memories. I flew home to California with mine and ate it with a cold glass of milk, but it would also pair amazingly with black coffee or tea. Also tried the mango and strawberry flavored ones, the mango was decent, while the strawberry felt a bit generic, so the original Basque cheesecake is definitely the star of the show. All of their cakes in the display case look gorgeous! But if you want a top-tier Japanese-style Basque cheesecake, do not skip this place. 10/10 recommend.

Everything was so beautifully made that you almost didn't want to eat them...almost! She brought such a great variety that we couldn't decide who wanted what, so we decided to share everything and cut each pastry into portions so we could all try them. It turned into a fun little tasting experience! The pastries/desserts are so creative and unique. One of my favorites to look at was the "Egg," which is actually a coconut mousse with a mango "yolk." It looks just like an egg and was absolutely delicious! The "Jam Jar" was strawberry and mascarpone with some type of cake or cookie inside. So good and such a fun presentation. The "Stick of Butter" was another one that really fooled us. It looks so much like an actual stick of butter that you expect it to taste like butter. But once you cut into it, you get cheesecake, a berry-type jam and a shortbread-like filling. Delicious! The one shaped like a "Rolling Pin" was a big favorite with everyone. It had banana mousse, banana cake, chocolate and other amazing flavors that all worked so well together. If I had to choose a favorite, I think it would be the "Honeycomb with Bee." Not only was it beautiful, but the flavors were incredible. It had a wonderful honey and lemon flavor with a shortbread-like filling. I'm definitely not doing this one justice with my description--it was so good! Of course, we also had the Cronut, which is one of their signature pastries, and it did not disappoint. It has that flaky pastry texture combined with the texture of a donut, making it the best of both worlds. Everything was packaged so beautifully as well. Kudos to the employees for the attention to detail and presentation! It really made the whole assortment feel extra special. What a fun treat to share with coworkers, and I loved getting to try so many of their creative pastries!

Their flaky patties are still as amazing as ever. I'd add their cookie shots as a must try; but their regular cookies, sandwiches, drinks, etc were good - not amazing. The bread is seriously addictive (like crack, I'm not even kidding lol ), and I kept going back every day I could break away. I ended up buying a bunch of goodies and somehow ate them ALL. No regrets whatsoever! What I loved most is that the bread didn't feel like your typical American carbs that leave you feeling stuffed and heavy. It was just the perfect amount, with incredible flavor and texture. The consistency was great! Everything I tried was delicious, from their seasonal egg sandwich to the honey bread and everything in between. You really can't go wrong here! Service was incredible! It's such a great little shop with seriously amazing baked goods. It smells amazing, and they open at 0700 daily. You can tell there's something special about what they're doing. If you're in town, PLEASE do yourself a favor and Pull up, man, and get yourself some of their bread!!! Just be prepared to become obsessed and leave with way more than you planned! I'll DEFINITELY be coming back whenever I'm in town again. This place is a gem!

The croissants had a very good amount of chocolate in them and that was a nice surprise because most croissants these days do not have a lot of filling. They had a benefit going that you get a beignet if you got sandwiches from next door. Service helped a lot and shaped us getting things and sticking around in the line. They answered any questions, and gave recommendations based on what we wanted. We had gotten a few beignets, some fresh mango ones, cheesecake, ube cake, and matcha lattes. The simple beignets were pretty good, still quite soft which was nice. Had a good bite to them. The cheesecake was solid, and the cream up top really made it. That ube cake and the mango beignet were solid though. The ube cake wasn't too sweet which was great. With the mango, it was really fresh. The cream wasn't too sweet and balanced well with the fruit. The mochi was a nice wrapper holding it all in. And thank goodness for the lattes. We'd have died after eating everything. Nice place to check out tho be wary of the line.

This daifuku was still very impressive, no notes for what it needs more, just a very well executed daifuku with good quality mochi. I do think the price point is a little steep.
