We decided to eat lunch here after a tour through the Zuccardi Winery and, it turned out to be the highlight of the day! The place is fantastic and very nicely decorated, the homemade tomato sauce for the pasta looked and smelled absolutely fantastic but we resisted the temptation and stuck with salad and tapas - not the worst decision I can say. We ordered a very good Zuccardi Malbec to go with it and had a fantastic meal, rabbit meatballs being the top favorite of everybody ... we are still talking about them and wondering, how they could pull that off? I wish I could see that recipe!
Last but not least, I received an email from them later that I had lost my wallet in the place. Unfortunately we had passed some time in the Andes without connectivity so we were already leaving Mendoza when I got the message. The manager María Eugenia was kind enough to organize a courier service delivery to Buenos Aires of my driver's license and quiet some cash, nothing was lost.
Summary: good wine, great food and friendly people - I will never forget it, don't miss it! read more
