We just had lunch at Pan Castilel, a Puerto Rican restaurant/coffee, and had a few very pleasant surprises. My husband ordered Sandwich Cubano and a cup of Cafe Latte; I ordered Sopa De Pollo (Chicken soup). Since they run out of rice that normally comes with the soup, they gave me a Pan Auga (Puerto Rican specialty) bread instead, and that crusty savory bread was out this worldly tasty! WOW! There was lots of meat in the chicken soup and it's full of flavor, the large size soup with the Pan Auga bread together is enough for a meal and only cost me $4.00. My husband's Cunano Sandwich was huge, it's more than enough for two of us but only cost $9.95! They have five different level of "darkness" for coffee latte, we wanted the darkest without sugar, and it was one of the best coffee latte I have ever had, with no sugar! Consider the quality, quantity and cost of the meal, this place was really one of the best with great taste and best value. Highly recommend. read more
