Janice, my Mother in-law, would never go to a place like this. She's more into gastro pubs and posh golf clubs. She exalts anything that looks good. Anyhow, fuck her, the black pudding didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend YOU try. My slight problem, only a slight problem. There was a lipstick mark on the coffee cup and the colour reminded me of something Janice would wear - PINK and glittery! 5/5 for boldness and kitsch!

The prices for a small local shop like this are reasonable enough and offer a similarly good value for money as Butlers and its location just around the corner from Maghull train station makes it a useful place to grab a sandwich before/after getting a train.
