Picked our sweet cairn up from a teeth cleaning. His backside was covered in poop, dried poop. They had let this poor boy sit in his own feces for some time for it to be dried. I went back in and told them the issue. They handed me a roll of paper towels. We have a 45 min drive home, had to ask for cleaning supplies! Then the front desk is just rude. Called to order his 6 months of Nextgaurd (not cheap almost $200) before I could say anything she bit my head off stating we can't hold it. I let her grumble and said even if I pay for it you can't hold it. Oh well that's different. Try listening before you bite the hand that helps pay your wages. I'm sad to leave Sara but your staff has me looking for alternatives. Hateful is not good for business!!!!

When Dr. Finally came in with lab results she had no answers. Wanted to do numerous expensive tests for cause of stroke. She never touched our dog or examined her. No treatment was offered except IV fluids for possible dehydration. No treatment was offered to prevent further damage or another stroke. We felt unimportant and ignored. We paid for a blood test and an exam which was not done. I feel like we should be reimbursed for the exam. We have 4 pets and have been coming there for almost 10yrs, we will not be returning.

The gunk on one side of her face wasn't cut off or scrubbed at all, and toenails weren't cut except for one foot. She said my dog was combative which is pretty unlikely considering she is 14 years old and 5 pounds. I texted the owner to ask if what she missed was included she stated yes. So I complained, she was rude. I came here because of her highly rated reviews on Facebook. She blamed it on having too many dogs that day. Not my problem, should have still been groomed correctly even if you had to stay late. So I'd say this place is a toss up, you may have a good experience or you may not.

Being Sunday, they were closed but their on-call doctor was very prompt and courteous and agreed to meet us there. We called when we were 15 minutes away and Dr Gage Dixon was there to greet us when we arrived. He examined Roman immediately, assessed the situation, and prescribed antibiotics and a steroid. He was very quick and professional. We are fairly new to the area and now we have found our preferred veterinarian.

I was very nervous about our girl having a surgery but she's home and doing well and they took excellent care of her. Beverly and the other ladies who do the phones and scheduling and work the front desk are very nice and so was Thomas, who called us when she was ready and walked us through what she'd need for recovery when we picked her up. I feel confident that everyone there truly loves animals and cares for them well and it makes me less nervous to bring my other cat in. They offer the best prices for spaying and neutering in the area, I called several places and none of them were as affordable as Have a Heart and they don't charge extra for the females and include shots as part of the already, low price. Such a huge blessing to low income families who are needing pets fixed. Thank you and God bless!!
